I started seeing Dr. Greenberg as a referral from my primary physician. I had been suffering from severe migraines and neck pain since 2019. I was living in Beaumont and treated at Loma Linda. When I relocated to HB I was in the worst condition, so much pain and could no longer train. I was a former bodybuilder and although I was 68, I was still very active prior to the on -set of the migraines and neck pain. I felt hopeless by the time I started seeing Dr. Greenberg. Immediately (because of his knowledge and expertise with my life style) he began a treatment plan, twice a week, reminding me each time of my previous knowledge of the muscle groups and associated strengthening exercises that would help me heal. Sometimes he would actually go into the motion of a dumb bell row in perfect form just to encourage me to draw on knowledge. All of his techniques, help, kindness and compassionate treatment gave me the hope I needed so desperately. I am now 70 and just stopped treatment. I have very little pain and take less pain medication. I am able to work out again and do cardio. I have my life back again. Dr. Greenberg's staff and his lovely wife were a big part of my recovery. When I was in pain they all quickly attended to me and also called me to keep me on schedule! I always felt better after treatments and my headaches decreased and I had much more neck rotation. I had The WORST experience at this Dr office. Now I can read he has 5 star reviews and I'm sure he is a great doctor BUT his office staff & front desk ladies are BEYOND Rude, not helpful and were so aggressive talking down to me, I ended up leaving the office without treatment. My baby's PT referred us to Dr Greenberg. First, their staff was not helpful at all when I was asking about insurance, co pays, benefits etc. The blonde lady staff at the front desk (didn't get her name) was yelling at me telling me it was My job to know my insurance benefits... that it wasn't "HER job, and she doesn't have time to call & verify benefits" yes, I know my benefits but had no idea they were out of network but They take my insurance so I was confused. So instead of explaining it to me, she talk to me like a 5 yr old and lecturing me that her 24 yr old child was smarter than me. I couldn't believe the way I was being talk to at a doctors office. I ended up packing up my bags and walking away with tears in my eyes. As I was walking out the door she was saying to me that, "we will just treat you since you are here" why would I want to be treated when the first 10 minutes was nothing but rudeness and unfriendly, unprofessional service?? So I can pay the doctor a few hundred dollars ?? I really hope this Doctor knows how bad his staff treats new patients. Also, not sure why my PT referred my 6 month old baby here.. Not 1 review mention infants especially with my baby's condition. Not 1 staff member was wearing masks although they said they do on Yelp, they do not wear or enforce masks. 99:9% doctors office wear masks. I'll be letting my PT and everyone I know NOT to go here. I've been visiting Dr Greenberg for years. I started seeing him after my first born and I was having terrible back pain from carrying him all the time. I usually go to chiropractors rain or shine anyways for holistic health but as a mom, self care is not main priority. I have seen chiropractors since 2004 and none of them have ever diagnosed me as well as Dr. Greenberg. I've been told I have scoliosis before, which was made worse by motherhood, but he also found my tropism that had been making my pains so much worse over time and has been treating me. This last year I lost the ability to run and got pregnant which he has been treating me for through multiple therapies and each time he adjusts me I am able to run again for a day or two and my pregnancy pains are lessened for daysdays. He also gives me great exercises to do at home to help the areas I suffer in. My first was breech and the second has been down and healthy, because I made sure to address the tropism in my sacral area and get adjustments the whole pregnancy. This pregnancy was a lot harder on my body and he really got me through the painful times. The staff is so amazing. They are so warm and kind and make sure I'm comfy and looked after. His wife and I always have a great conversation about life and she makes sure I'm feeling good every time I leave. I love that it's just the four of them and I always know the whole staff and it's not super busy or different each time. They also do a great job with COVID safety. I called a week ago and the office manger checked on my referral and told me it hadn't been approved. Called today, 1 week later and she told me that Dr. Greenberg isn't accepting new patients with my insurance because my insurance doesn't pay enough. What?!?! I could not be happier to be leaving this five star glowing review. I have been struggling in severe pain for the past 10 weeks with what I originally thought was a glute muscle problem, after visiting the physical therapist, I was told it was possibly a group of muscles from my flute all the way to weak ankles and lastly, I feared it was my back. I have been going through the rigmarole of getting an MRI when a friend recommended Greenberg Chiropractic. I called yesterday and they got me in for later the same day. I filled out some forms and saw Dr. Greenberg for no more than 10 minutes. He put me on a table, assessed my pain, and said it's your pelvis. With three or four minor no pain adjustments I was done. He recommended I stretch my hips, but other than that, he said I should be fine. After I left his office, I did not feel any pain and I am thrilled to report the following day. Before visiting Doctor Greenberg I had never visited a chiropractor, so this review may also include some points of interests for potential first time patients. If you're not into making informed decisions or the hows and whys of life, skip to the bottom for the tl;dr. As a generally tough-it-out kind of person, my lower back pain had to intensify to an unbearable level before I finally admitted I needed professional care. I worked sitting at a desk, and the pain in my right glute got to the point where I could only stay seated for about 5 minutes at a time. After finally conceding to that first visit, Dr. Greenberg's assessment was essentially that my problem with glute pain was just the tip of the iceberg. That is, the pain was an indicator that other chronic and long unnoticed or ignored problems were the real issues that needed to be solved, and solved over a longer course of therapy. Those patients who are looking for that quick fix or magic pill may see this type of assessment as a negative. I have always been of the mindset, though, that a problem severe enough and long enough in the making will most likely require as much if not more resources in its resolution. So, over the course of numerous sessions I began to notice slight and incremental improvements, given that I also did my homework (stretches, exercises). My glute pain has now almost completely disappeared, and my back is giving me range of motion that I'd not known was lost. Furthermore, Dr. Greenberg has helped me with my straightened neck and also a shoulder injury which I'd sustained doing the bench press, and both treatments are evidencing significant results. Going to a chiropractor for the first time was intimidating. However, Dr. Greenberg has from the beginning put me at ease with a welcoming attitude. More importantly to me though, he has always answered my questions clearly and without reservation, whether the issue is concerning how a tendon interfaces with muscle or how a certain device might assist in the recovery process. As far as the chiropractic work itself goes, Dr. Greenberg is excellent with muscle work (clearing out knots & kinks), and his adjustments are decisive and leave you feeling great. If you are looking for a new chiropractor, I would not hesitate in setting up an appointment with Dr. Greenberg and seeing what he can do for you. If you haven't been to a chiropractor before and are considering it, I would strongly suggest that you make that first visit and at least see what that pain you've been feeling for the last 6 months is all about. tl;dr just go see him, it's worth the time and money read more
