Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome here for lunch - Jack the host was so accommodating, even though we were a larger party and running super late. They went to such lengths to welcome the children and babies giving them extra attention, activities, special cutlery. We had the greenberry salad with was excellent, delicious fresh crab white meat, tasty dressing really light and delicious - cauliflower and hummus as a sharer also great - finishing with the pistachio and cherry Eton mess - must get!! Would've loved to sit outside but inside at the bar was still a great time - the staff was so friendly! They also have a full bar! Dine in - June 2024 Two egg breakfast (scrambled eggs) - 9/10 Oat milk latte - yummy This was so much food I couldn't even finish it. The eggs were soft scrambled and tasted so fresh. It also comes with a huge breakfast sausage and three large slices of thick cut bacon- the bacon was amazing. The mushrooms and the tomato were both cooked perfectly. I'd have loved a small side of greens - which I know doesn't come with English breakfast but that would've been an ideal addition for me. Would get again for sure. We came here for brunch and it was egg-cellent (sorry for the pun). When my husband cut through his egg he was so happy to see a bright orange colored yolk - he loves fresh eggs! He enjoyed the avocado toast while I thoroughly enjoyed the waffle topped with two poached eggs, avocado and amazing bacon! I finished every bite! I would say 4.5 for the food and I'd take away .5 for the rude service. My friend I were visiting a friend who moved to London for school. When we checked in (I don't know if it's because we were American), the hostess wouldn't seat us in a table that was clearly opened. We just had to wait. Suddenly, she seats people that came after us BEFORE us. We were not happy. She said she could seat us outside but it was blazing hot. We just decided to sit outside since our flight home was in a few hours. After sitting down for 10 minutes, another table clears and we ask if we can move inside. She was obviously annoyed and you could tell. It took us another 10 minutes just waiting outside until she said we could move inside. But let's think happy thoughts and move onto the food. Breakfast - two eggs any style, Dingley Dell sausage & streaky bacon, Portobello mushroom, slow roast tomato, sourdough toast 11.50 I'm so happy I got to try English breakfast in London! Their eggs are orange but just as delicious as American eggs! Overall, it was very light and tasty! Haas avocado, sweet potato hummus, two poached eggs & dukkah 9.50 This vegetarian dish was better than my breakfast! Dukkah is a Egyptian condiment consisting of herbs, nuts, and spices. One bite and I was amazed how delicious it was! H. Forman & son smoked salmon with scrambled eggs 13.00 I didn't get to try my friends smoked salmon, but for $13, they skimped out since it was only on one toast! Well what do you know I came back and I tried A LOT of new things, two of which were avocado toast. I know right, what has the world done to me. Their brunch special was broad-bean and peas with feta over toast and beetroot hummus with poached eggs (but I got scrambled) and we also got haas avocado, sweet potato hummus, two poached eggs and dukkah on toast. Let me tell you, those combinations were totally genius! I mean, whaaaaat! Dukkah? Maybe I'm a fool but I had no idea what it was. Wiki will tell you that dukkah is an Egyptian condiment consisting of a mixture of herbs, nuts, and spices. It seemed so simple, it was literally just sprinkled over the top of the toast, but it added a flavour and texture that was sooooo nice! So well done Greenberry Cafe with your dukkah. The combo of the broad beans and feta was also absolutely delicious. And then I was here another night for dinner. I was super interested to see if their dinner options would be as strong as their brunch. Their fish special, side of Iman bayaldi (eggplant with spices and seasonings... thanks again wiki baby), soba noodles, and tender stem broccoli, were all freaking amazing. No, I'm not exaggerating. I'm seriously so impressed with this place. The soba noodles were completely vegetarian and the broth was very well seasoned and tasty. The eggplant (oh sorry, aubergine), was also so good! Such a great place for a brunch ! Primrose Hill is a very nice area and this little cafe is just the perfect spot on a lazy Sunday morning. The waiters are nice and efficient and the food is delicious... I ordered a pancake with maple syrup, ricotta cheese and fruits followed by an egg benedict... We were all very pleased with the food. I must have paid around £18 for the whole including an orange juice which is decent since it kept me going all day and even later... The place is often packed, so I recommend you book ahead (what we did)... It is also rather noisy so avoid it if you want peace and quiet... I'll certainly go back there on my next trip to London! read more

This place is perfect for breakfast/brunch, serving until 3pm even on weekdays! It's round the corner from my spa and I always like to pop in here after for the amazing Haas avocado with poached egg and a flat white - definitely good coffee here! Over the past few months I've been coming in the week late afternoon time and the restaurant is usually pretty empty then. They usually seat me on a 4 seater table, regardless that there's only one of me. Why don't more places do that, especially when a restaurant is empty? There's nothing worse than sitting through your meal all cramped up 'just in case' other people come in. Usually they don't and it stays empty for the full duration. One of life's little pet hates! I have also visited at the weekends before when it's a lot busier. You can usually put your name down on the list if they are full and then have a mooch around the shops in Primrose Hill and they'll call you when there's a table ready. There's a few tables outside which is perfect for a warmer day to drink coffee and people watch. I haven't had lunch here yet but it's definitely next on the list! read more

This place feels like it should be a lot better than it actually is. It's a charming cafe that is always full (for weekend brunches, at least - you definitely need to book ahead if you want to get in there on Saturday or Sunday before about 2 or 3). It's the kind of place that is fun to be in and a nice place to take people. However, I think the actual food and drink is a bit disappointing. I ordered a hot chocolate this time, which felt quite indulgent, but the drink itself seemed to have a water base rather than milk and it wasn't very chocolatey at all, which mean it was rather unpleasant - hot, slightly milky water. My eggs benedict were fine (though the muffins were quite tough), but my boyfriend's poached eggs were overcooked, so they weren't anywhere near as runny as they should have been. It left me feeling a bit miffed, especially when we paid £11 and £12 respectively for our food, which is quite steep for a brunch. I actually was quite close to giving them 2 stars, but it has been better on previous occasions. A positive is that my boyfriend didn't want the avocado that came with his dish, and they switched it without fuss for halloumi, without charging him extra - a lot of places would add on the extra price. On the other hand, there was barely any maple syrup on his waffles, so he asked for more, which ended up adding on £2.50 for something that felt like it should have come with the meal as described. I suspect I'll be going here again as it's so convenient and the atmosphere is good, but I will amend this review accordingly if things change. read more

My friend and I walked by and were drawn to Greenberry Café from the cosy vibe the restaurant gives off! Having a look at the menu was enough to convince us to go in, and we definitely were not disappointed! The place is clean, cosy, elegant, dog-friendly, the staff is nice, the menu is varied (with veggie and vegan options), and the food is delicious! lovely little lunch spot in the primrose hill area! i had a salad with goat cheese, brown rice, quinoa, butternut squash, arugula and pomegranate seeds, which was delicious and tasted super fresh. we split a pancake as an appetizer/side dish, and it was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. my mom also described her meal as good not great. would return and order the same thing, sans pancake., but mom would probably try something else. read more

Consistent, delicious food with good service. All tastes fresh. Good coffee though I wish the mugs were bigger. Very good place to go on a weekend brunch (but make reservations first). Though they did take the courgette and carrot hash off the brunch menu, which I loved, and replaced it with a sweet potato hash. (Insert sad face). And the toilets are down the basement via some steep steps. Be careful going down if you have bad knees, like me or have vertigo! Are pram friendly if you advise them in your reservations as long as it isn't a behemoth (though I have the compact Yoyo). But FYI, no changing facilities. read more

The atmosphere is so cozy - it feels like a place where you can curl up with a coffee and a book and relax for an afternoon. If I lived a bit closer, I'd love to try their brunch. Attention to detail was there too; they were able to poach my friend's egg well done, and though they put down a soft egg first, they caught it before she started. I had a waffle with maple glazed bacon and avocado, and poached eggs. Simple, but I give credit for the waffle - was not too soft, just a touch crispy on the outside. They must specialize in poached eggs, because they were definitely done just right. Local hotspot and great for those of you who love a celeb spot. The Greenberry is also dog friendly, so if you do have a (well behaved) furry friend they'll be welcome here. They are also baby friendly, so maybe if you're allergic to either (dogs or children) give this a miss. The restaurant/cafe accepts reservations - which Id strongly suggest on a weekend as by 11am this place begins to quickly fill up with locals and families from the Primrose Hill set. Having only eaten brunch here, I can't comment on the other offerings come lunch and dinner time but if the breakfast I had was anything to go by, it would be top notch. For breakfast, the menu includes all the classics such as a full English, eggs any style, porridge, pancakes etc. All of which has ingredients freshly made on site. The 'dingley dell' sausages are top on my list of recommendations, as if the beans on toast with field mushrooms. Only word of warning I could give is that the service can be very slow, so this is not the place to visit if you're in the mood for a quick meal. Not sure if it's down to lack of staff, but we did have to wait a good while for our meals to turn up and coffee was even slower to turn up. Don't skip trying their incredible spiced pumpkin cake either, it's to die for. read more

My friend and I both ordered the vegetarian breakfast each with a side of sweet potato fries to share. The sweet potato fries was a good add-on as no potatoes come with the meal. My friend ordered a chai soy latte and enjoyed it. I had the peppermint tea- also nice. Service was very good and extremely attentive. Restaurant does get quite loud- but it is a busy place. The food and the coffee is great I've had both the yogurt with granola and berries and also the shakshuka - a baked egg / spiced tomato and vegetables dish. Yum. A girlfriend took me here as part of a prenatal pampering day and what a treat it was! On a gloriously sunny day, we snagged an outdoor table and had an hour long lunch including fresh pressed juices and an avo toast (w poached eggs, sweet potato hummus and dukkah), endive salad and risotto. Given the noon hour on a perfect day, there was a slight queue to be seated for walk ups (we had a reservation and no wait) as well as a slight delay in food but I would disagree w those that have remarked about the cool service . The fella who tended our table was patient (it took him 3 approaches to us before we were ready to order) and sweet, and this was the height of lunch time. Though we never had our waters refilled (we didn't ask as servers were clearly all trying to keep things moving), the food was delicious, it was affordable for the quality and location and the experience overall was overwhelmingly positive. I met my friend here for brunch one day and though they advertise vegan options on the board outside, but have no vegan dishes on their brunch menu. I ended up getting two types of pre-made salad that were unexciting and overpriced. I couldn't finish the spring salad because of the plethora of basil leaves. Went there for breakfast per someone's recommendation that is it was amazing. The food was delicious! Unfortunately, during the middle of our meal, we found a bug in our food! It was quite disgusting and it was in the middle of the pancakes so who knows if it was maybe even cooked with the batter. Anyways we told the manager and she apologized right away and did not charge us for that specific plate. However, after that we did not have any interaction with her and we received dirty looks from the rest of the employees the remainder of our stay (maybe cause we complained?) and instead of getting another plate for free (seeing as how the one we had gotten didn't work out) we were charged for the plate of toast we ordered to fill us up. I took my son to Greenberry's for lunch today. The waiter gave us multiple menus and told us Specials were on the board. We looked at the menus and my son decided to order from the "set" menu for an appetizer and main for £11.50. Unfortunately, when we got the bill, the two items were full priced and the bill was much more than expected. When I brought this up with another waitress (our waiter left the restaurant before we finished our meal) she told us that only the top two items on the specials board were that day's "set" menu and that my son ordered from the A La Carte items listed directly below the "set" menu offer on the main menu. The "new" waitress showed us our mistake and said that our waiter should have explained the "set" menu option to us when we ordered, which he had not. Had my son known that we were going to be charged the full price, he probably would not have ordered both items. The menu confused us both and, though the mistake was ours, we both felt misled by the menu and a little ripped off. The food is very good, but the wait staff is off putting and made communication with them about our meal complicated, uncomfortable and unfortunately, much more expensive than expected. read more

My friend and I made plans for Saturday brunch along Regents Park Road, knowing this place had received great online reviews but we hadn't had enough time to make a reservation earlier in the week. Luckily they had a table for 2 available for an hour, which worked out quite perfectly. There are a lot of staff members running around the restaurant, so it easy to flag them down and we got our food pretty quickly. I ordered the sweet potato fritters with poached egg & chorizo, a side of avocado, and a black Americano. The fritters were too sweet for my taste, and rather soft so it came out more like a fish cake texture (by comparison, Granger & Co's sweetcorn fritters were actual fried fritters). But the most remarkable thing about this restaurant is their eggs- not sure where they source them from, but my neighbour had orange-coloured scrambled eggs, and my poached eggs also had a bright orange yolk. I am so glad that I got the avocado because the dish definitely needed something to offset all that richness, though the option of some other vegetables could have been nice too. Overall the brunch was solid but not stellar. We walked down the rest of the road afterward, and this restaurant was the most popular place by far, so definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. read more
