    Waffle/Eggs

We came here for brunch and it was egg-cellent (sorry for the pun). When my husband cut through his egg he was so happy to see a bright orange colored yolk - he loves fresh eggs! He enjoyed the avocado toast while I thoroughly enjoyed the waffle topped with two poached eggs, avocado and amazing bacon! I finished every bite! I don't recall our servers name but she had beautiful red hair and she was nice as can be.

Was visiting London from the US and stopped by here randomly for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was delicious. I had avocado sourdough toast and a blue algae latte and I still think about both. Definitely going to visit again the next time I'm in the area.

I went here for brunch while i was in London and absolutely loved it. Not the cheapest place but still not too expensive. They have great vegetarian options, great service, and a lovely atmosphere Follow me on ig @tulascuisine

It does not get better than this. Excellent staff. Smart, kind people. The perfect spot in primrose hill to eat. The menu is magnificent. Something amazing for everyone. And the food is delicious. Fresh and tasty and beautifully imagined and prepared. Service is excellent. Greenberry is fantastic. Seriously wonderful. Go now. And if there's a wait for a table, wait. It's worth it. You will love it.

Brunch menu item - Poached egg with squash, pomegranate, and cooked spinach. Very tasty!

Great atmosphere and yummy food for a reasonable price!! Went on a weekday during brunch hours with 6 people and they easily and quickly accommodated us. Service was quick and very friendly! I shared a sweet potato hummus, avocado, poached egg sourdough toast which was to die for yummy. I also shared a dish with quash and pomegranate that was tasty. Although the Cafe does have vegan options on some menus, their lunch menu unfortunately has no vegan options.

Such a great place for a brunch ! Primrose Hill is a very nice area and this little cafe is just the perfect spot on a lazy Sunday morning. The waiters are nice and efficient and the food is delicious... I ordered a pancake with maple syrup, ricotta cheese and fruits followed by an egg benedict... We were all very pleased with the food. I must have paid around £18 for the whole including an orange juice which is decent since it kept me going all day and even later... The place is often packed, so I recommend you book ahead (what we did)... It is also rather noisy so avoid it if you want peace and quiet... I'll certainly go back there on my next trip to London!

One of my favourite places for brekky in London. Great quality produce, dishes and juices. And right next to primrose hill. First time here for lunch - not as good as brekky - they don't do hot food. But still good.

This place is perfect for breakfast/brunch, serving until 3pm even on weekdays! It's round the corner from my spa and I always like to pop in here after for the amazing Haas avocado with poached egg and a flat white - definitely good coffee here! Over the past few months I've been coming in the week late afternoon time and the restaurant is usually pretty empty then. They usually seat me on a 4 seater table, regardless that there's only one of me. Why don't more places do that, especially when a restaurant is empty? There's nothing worse than sitting through your meal all cramped up 'just in case' other people come in. Usually they don't and it stays empty for the full duration. One of life's little pet hates! I have also visited at the weekends before when it's a lot busier. You can usually put your name down on the list if they are full and then have a mooch around the shops in Primrose Hill and they'll call you when there's a table ready. There's a few tables outside which is perfect for a warmer day to drink coffee and people watch. I haven't had lunch here yet but it's definitely next on the list!

This place feels like it should be a lot better than it actually is. It's a charming cafe that is always full (for weekend brunches, at least - you definitely need to book ahead if you want to get in there on Saturday or Sunday before about 2 or 3). It's the kind of place that is fun to be in and a nice place to take people. However, I think the actual food and drink is a bit disappointing. I ordered a hot chocolate this time, which felt quite indulgent, but the drink itself seemed to have a water base rather than milk and it wasn't very chocolatey at all, which mean it was rather unpleasant - hot, slightly milky water. My eggs benedict were fine (though the muffins were quite tough), but my boyfriend's poached eggs were overcooked, so they weren't anywhere near as runny as they should have been. It left me feeling a bit miffed, especially when we paid £11 and £12 respectively for our food, which is quite steep for a brunch. I actually was quite close to giving them 2 stars, but it has been better on previous occasions. A positive is that my boyfriend didn't want the avocado that came with his dish, and they switched it without fuss for halloumi, without charging him extra - a lot of places would add on the extra price. On the other hand, there was barely any maple syrup on his waffles, so he asked for more, which ended up adding on £2.50 for something that felt like it should have come with the meal as described. I suspect I'll be going here again as it's so convenient and the atmosphere is good, but I will amend this review accordingly if things change.

We took a walk to Primrose Hill and happened to stumble across this place while window shopping on the street. Great service, great set up & they allow dogs, which is always entertaining We decided to order from the breakfast menu (Fried eggs on toast & Sweet Potato Fritters with Chorizo) for lunch and it was delicious! Never thought something so simple could be so good Not to mention the best Chai Latte that I have ever had!

Squash soup with couscous and spinach- delicious!

Can't fault it! Always crowded and for good reason. Food is excellent. Have only been at lunch time so cannot speak for breakfast / brunch menu. Service is excellent as well. Friendly wait staff who are attentive and always have a smile on their faces!

Great food! Kind of place you could stay all afternoon, and then walk off the calories on Primrose Hill

They went out of their way to make forthright suggestions about items and the wines by the glass. The winner was the pea and mint soup. We made reservations at 3pm but it seemed like they had several other tables available for walk-in. The server asked if this was our first time for high tea (not sure if this is protocol or if we were dripping with American vibes). Either way, they were great at walking us through everything to make sure we didn't have any questions. The table settings and overall vibe made me feel like we were super fancy! I ordered the Egyptian Chamomile tea and my husband ordered the Earl Gray. The menu had descriptions of the types of teas which can help you pick out what you'd like. I think we both liked my Chamomile better with a tad of sugar which was on the table. We happened to visit during the Chelsea Flower Show time, so they had 2 different types of specialty desserts- we ordered one of each. The sandwiches were all delicious- I loved the salmon and my husband wanted to ask for the Coronation Chicken Salad recipe. The scones were out of this world, and I have a new favorite food called clotted cream. The desserts were so, so good and had a little bit of everything- chocolate, tarts, fruity...you'll find something you like! To be quite frank, we did our due diligence with finding a place to have high tea. There were some that were almost twice as expensive as this place, and I have a hard time believing they would have been twice as good. If you're looking for a simple afternoon tea experience, make sure to add this to your short list. Brasserie Max is elegant, simple, and delicious- highly recommended!
