We first hired him two or three years ago based on a recommendation from a neighbor. One of the things we appreciated about Kevin is that he not only did the work that was quoted, but he also did some general cleaning up in the area. He took older stumps down to the ground level, removed trees that had previously fallen and were rotting in the woods, and essentially cared about the work like it was his own property. This time around he has been as responsive as the first time. He asks for half down and half upon completion, and his prices are superb compared to other quotes. He's clearly skilled - he's able to drop heavy branches away from fencing and anything that could be damaged using ropes - which is another benefit for us. Also, he proactively has his insurance company send an email showing his insurance coverage so you don't have to ask. Finally, one of the other things we appreciate is that he takes everything away - there is not a trace left of the tree he was cutting down. We planned a complete overhaul of our backyard and she was there at every stage. First, she helped us understand what plants we had. She spent an hour with us teaching us about them and how to prune them and take care of them. When it came time to start our major project, she came to our house multiple times to talk about how plants would be laid out, and she met with our patio contractor in person to coordinate their efforts. Eventually, Jennifer and her crew came to plant a bunch of items, add mulch, and generally spruce things up. She had great advice at every step. The cost for her services was extremely reasonable. She provided invoices by email and was very communicative. There were also multiple instances when she suggested how we might accomplish some tasks ourselves so that we didn't have to pay her for them. She's also just a nice person, including when she brought our newborn son a birthday card. The fact that this is a woman-owned business and she has an all-woman landscaping crew is just the icing on the cake. We will look forward to calling on her again in the future. This business, and Jennifer in particular, is a total gem in the world of home and outdoor service providers.

Getting someone to come out on a Friday afternoon in Maine in the summer is a challenge but Cel responded to my call within an hour and came out the same day to give me an estimate. Their prices are more than fair and they came the next morning and removed the tree. I though I would have to do a ton of lawn clean up but they removed the huge limb and left the yard spotless.
