On Thursday, October 26, 2023, I was traveling down Rte 95, in the middle lane, going about 75mph. Suddenly a car in the fast lane ahead of me, swerved into the middle lane, only to reveal a deer crossing the road. I hit the deer square on! I got to the side of the road, police came, I was brought home (unhurt, my Volvo saved me). I called R Stewart, where my car was towed, to find out what I needed to do next. They connected my call to Dickie Stewart, who offered to call all the reputable body shops in the area, as well as Volvo in South Portland, to see the best and fast place to have my car repaired. I had never been in a situation like this and Dickie quickly took the situation out of my hands and handled it.
