I had my windows replaced last April but wanted to wait until after winter to write a review. The previous winter I couldn't even see out my old aluminum sliders because they were so iced up. I'm pleased to report that we've just been through a week of super-cold weather and I can see outside--my new windows are completely ice-free. From the salesperson, Artem, to the final check by the owner, Pavlo, the experience with this company was superb. Yes, the owner comes to do the final check and makes sure you're happy with everything. Who else does this! I felt well taken care of. The installation was good. They were quick, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. My only regret (and this has nothing to do with the company) is that I used to have indirect airflow before with being able to open the outside slider and the inside slider at the opposite end. Now, because I only have only one (high-quality) slider, I get direct air from the west and that means I get dirt blowing in. If I'd considered this, I may have chosen a different design. Like others, we were happy with our initial experience with the installation, however the after sales service has been incredibly frustrating and handling the warranty is super disappointing. We had someone come by, look at the window in June, and then said they'd order the parts and it would be 2-3 weeks, and that was back in June. It's now late August and we had to call to follow up. Turns out the part arrived over a month ago and no one reached out to us, we had to follow up. Nothing about this after sales experience has been positive or pleasant. read more

Initial experience was positive, but after-sales service is extremely disappointing At first, this company seemed excellent. The sales and installation process for replacing our doors and windows went smoothly, and based on that experience, I even recommended them to others. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. Once they had our payment, their customer service--particularly warranty support--has been extremely poor. I've now been waiting over 18 months for a warranty repair, with little to no meaningful communication about the status. Every few months, I follow up and receive the same generic response: that someone will contact me or that the issue has been escalated to management. However, nothing ever comes of it. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I genuinely regret recommending this company and strongly encourage anyone considering them to do thorough research beforehand--especially regarding their post-installation support. Requested a quote from this company and it was non stop spam via email and text and phone calls. They keep asking for the same information already provided. Trying to book us when we were already supposed to be booked in. Then get an email today would not book us in to the appt until we advised how we heard of them which was answered on the website and how many people were going to be at the appointment we were looking to setup. Disappointed with Service and Quality After Installation I chose Fox Windows to replace 47 windows based on their sales rep's assurances that the stucco would not be damaged during installation. Unfortunately, while the stucco was damaged and repaired, the final result was far from what was promised. The new windows left a noticeable gap between the stucco and the casing, and instead of using a proper color-matched silicone, they used a translucent one, leaving the gap looking unprofessional and unsightly. When I called to address the issue, an inspector came out and explained that, as of 2024, the company had changed its policy to only use translucent silicone. He assured me that upper management would review the situation. After a week, I was told I'd need to buy the paint myself to color match, even though this was an issue caused by their installation and policy change. I'm not a painter and feel this responsibility should fall on them. After several calls, the solution they proposed was for me to go to a local store with a piece of stucco to color match it myself. While I am hopeful that the interior trim repair (on 8 windows) will be done correctly, I am very disappointed with how the company has handled the stucco issue. The lack of accountability and customer care for a problem directly caused by their work has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope Fox Windows reconsiders their approach to customer service, as it has not been up to the standard I expected. As you can see from the pictures, the red was the before and the low quality of install after. Just so disappointed as i hope they will step up and fix it. Sales process was great. Nait was very helpful. Installation was a mess. We were quoted it would be two consecutive days. At 3 pm on day one I called the office to confirm they are coming back the next day, because it's currently 3 and they are half way done. The office said yes they will be back tomorrow. The installation crew then confirmed they wouldn't be back for another week or two. They worked late into the night trying to get most of the windows installed to make up for the fact that they wouldn't be in the next day. They worked into the dark and ended up damaging both windows that were installed in the dark. They also left a large mess in my yard and a pile of garbage in my neighbours yard. Thankfully they are replacing these two windows. The reason for the horrible review aside from the crazy install, is that one big thing wasn't disclosed to us in the sales process. It involves Vault pay. In the agreement signed with them they disclose that they can put a claim against your property for the amount owed. I read this as if they will file a claim against the property if you don't pay in time, but instead they do it right away as soon as they release the funds to green fox. I paid 100% in full within 30 days of a 90 day deferral period. About one month later I received a caveat forbidding registration from the land titles office that was filed 5 days into my deferral period. read more

I do not recommend GreenFox. The quality and service is terrible. The windows were installed October 2023 and as soon as it got cold the windows began to frost up. Even though they told me this was "normal" they replaced both. The replacement windows are the same poor quality. I strongly recommend that consumers look at other window companies and never purchase from GreenFox. read more

Green fox damaged our house while forcing our incorrectly measured bay window in place. Our siding on now discontinued. We just decided to try and fix the bottom to use the old siding to fix the damage, but Green fox will not pay for THEIR damage!!! Make sure you take before and after pictures to have proof!! this company is not a good company to have do windows if the windows are not strait forward windows!! They miss led us on our bay window and now we are paying the price!!! Terrible company read more

We had one window on our second floor that was blown out by the wind and contacted Green Fox to help us replace it. The process was horrible and the window does not match the other two - it looks awful! When we first hired them, Nait came to our home and was very curt. Although I was skeptical, they required that we paid 50% before they even started, which we did. After a month of not hearing anything, I phoned Nait to inquire. During that call, Nait was very short and annoyed with my inquiry for an estimated date. I made a comment about having it before winter, to which Nait rudly told me that winter was not until December 21, suggesting my inquiry in September was unreasonable. The call was also very confusing as initially I was told that it does not matter how many windows we ordered, the wait was the same. However, by the end of the call, Nait seemed frustrated and told me that I would have to wait because we only ordered one window! When the window was finally ready, they told us that the installers will be at our home on a Friday between 3 and 5 PM. Finally at 5:30 PM, we received a call to ask if they could still come by. We agreed because we had been waiting so long and the hole in the house was covered in plywood. They finally showed up at 6 PM, came in and measured a few things, and then told us that they could not install it because the measurements were wrong. We waited until the following Tuesday, received the same 3-5 PM time frame, and the installers again showed up after 5 PM. There is damage around the exterior of the window and it does not match the other windows (see farthest window on the left does not match the other two). Worst of all, this window cost us over $1400! DO NOT waste your time with this company, the service and product are terrible. If 0/5 stars was an option, I would choose it. read more

Avoid this company at all cost. We had 6 windows and 1 exterior door installed and 3 of the 6 items were completed incorrectly. Two of the windows were ordered significantly smaller than we requested and we were told the solution was for us to pay over $3000 out of pocket to correct their error. Our front exterior door was also attempted to be installed on the back door and we had to stop them mid tear down to correct it. After two visits our front door still does not latch properly and constantly blows open. read more

IF CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS ANYTHING TO YOU, THIS COMPANY IS NOT FOR YOU! From the sales room to the installers, to the management, no one cares about customer service. Bought a front door from Green Fox in August after visting their empty show room. No one around but a receptionist to make appointments. Sales person shows up to our home in August on a Friday at 2:30 pm and couldn't get out of their faster after taking $2500 dollars from us. No direction or product deals offered. This should have been our sign to not go forward, however; we did. Door was suppose to be installed in November, delayed to January by email notice, not even a phone call, then changed again to December again by email. Once install date comes, installers show up and neglect to reconnect our alarm system to the new door. When the follow up visit was made, we advised them this was an issue and we needed it resolved. Their answer to this was $100 bucks. Not to fix the issue you created but to buy us off with $100 bucks and to leave it to us to have someone else come out and fix this for us. Do you think $100 bucks will cover that? Brutal customer service from the start. Not even a manager would call us to deal with this issue. Doors are expensive and very poor quality. Back door mouldings split open. Front door oozes sealer from mouldings onto windows and door. Two years we've been complaining. 3rd repair yesterday and they scraped goop off and in process scraped off a lot of door paint, then put on some bulky brown goop to cover it. Not even same color. Door looks worse, the oozing sealant looked better. Door looks destroyed now. Always different ppl coming, have to explain over and over but they don't understand because they have little English. It's been a nightmare. Lot of money for junk doors. so disappointed. I'd rate it zero if they had a zero. Horrible quality, horrible service. read more

We ordered a door in August of 2021. We were to have it installed between November 2021 to February 2022. Only after February passed, we had to contact Green Fox to find out when the install was. They said to wait to the end of March 2022. Now we received an e-mail saying that the door will now be delayed yet again. Now the door will be made at the end of April, and then add on another 2 - 4 weeks for delivery to us. Hmmm! Lets see--February, then March, then sometimes in May? Whats next? Do not recommend this company. Too much wait time, after they take a 50% deposit. Very frustrating. read more

Installation was fine, it's the financing that is sketchy, to say the least. It's a scam, really. You agree to a set term and payment with the salesman, then you get a letter from the financing company after the installation and realize that at the end of your loan term, you will have only paid off one third of your loan and will have to refinance the rest for another 7 years. The "term" may be what you agreed on, but the amortization will be at least double that, so a 5 year "term" becomes 12. Online "chat" agents said once the finance company pays Green Fox, it's out of their hands and there is nothing they can do. Asked for an email address and got the run around. Eventually was able to email them and was told sorry, but there is nothing we can do. Asked to be put in touch with management and am still waiting (it's been 44 days and counting). Hugely disappointing to learn that after 5 years, you will have barely paid off anything and will have to refinance (likely at a higher interest rate). I want to know if Green Fox is aware of this and if they essentially lie and scam their customers or if they are unaware of what the financing company does (my guess is Green Fox is 100% aware of what is happening, is getting a big payday from the financing company and is laughing all the way to the bank). I have sent several emails asking to speak to management to no avail. I have been waiting for management to get back to me about my concerns since August 6. Every time I contact them, I'm told they will have someone get in touch. Still nothing. Last response I got was 11 days ago when they said they were working to have "James" call me as soon as possible. How long does it take to pick up the phone and call someone? What type of company does not have management available to handle custsomer concerns? They don't care about their customers at all, they just care about the money. read more

By far the most unprofessional and dishonest company I have ever dealt with. Took nearly 6 months from start of replacing the windows to completion. First crew didn't even install any insulation before installing the new windows! And an top of that, basement windows were not screwed into place after the crew disappeared for 2 months over the summer. Second crew had to reinstall nearly every window. Crews would routinely show up 6 to 8 HOURS late, if at all with no notice or explanation. I will go out of my way to ensure that no one I know ever sends a dime to Green Fox Windows. I have been repairing their shoddy work since they decided that what they had done was good enough, and I'm sure I will have to fix more of their mistakes in the future. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. EDIT: In response to Green Fox - The work was done under my spouses' name, I am not in your system. We reached out to your managers many times to try to find adequate solutions to our grievances, and the responses we got (if any) only further insulted us. Attention Attention to the future customers to stay away from this company. They are dishonest and rip customers off. They made us wait for over 3 months untill they finally came after they promised us only 2 weeks wait. After that they measured the windows wrong so when they came to install them, they were too big. They damaged my house to try to fit them in and after they damaged my window frames they left and didn't come back until 1 month later to pick up a few things they left on my house. Bad business practice. Promised custom windows and doors, delivered factory defects and damaged goods. Took us to court after delivering 4 defects on 10 ordered items. Court action #:1690301655. The judge strongly urged Green Fox to take what we were offering as a settlement at pre-trial. I had Peter Kirlew from Green Fox in my house on September 16, 2015. Peter Kirlew measured 8 windows and 2 doors (front door and side door). Peter Kirlew recorded the information first on an 8x10 sheet, then transferred it over to an 18x16 estimate form, then he entered the information into his laptop computer. Peter Kirlew left our house, said he'd be back in a couple of days with a price. Peter Kirlew returned on September 18th and gave us a price of over $16,500 for everything. I rejected his price, because I had 2 previous estimates that were substantially lower. Peter Kirlew asked me how much I wanted to spend on the project - I told him $10,000. Peter Kirlew quoted the windows as crank-style windows, instead of sliding windows because as he said "your windows are too big". Peter Kirlew left our house after I told him what I would pay as a maximum. A couple of days later Peter Kirlew called me and told me he had talked to his boss and that they could supply us with 8 windows and 2 doors for $10,000. So I told him to come over and we could do the paperwork. Peter Kirlew came over and he started recording the information for the front door because the door opening size had to be adjusted (the door opening was being made smaller) -- he started with the front door because there was a lot of information to gather. We spent about 45 minutes to an hour just getting the measurements for that door down on paper. It was very important to me that this front door replacement did not have a brick moulding. Then Peter Kirlew started to write information on the order form for the side door. Then he abruptly stopped and said "I'm putting in too much information. That door is just a 're and re' (remove and replace)" and he scratched out some of the writing he had, but not all of it. Peter Kirlew said "The side door is an easy one to record, we'll move on to the windows" and we didn't finish the paperwork for the side door. Peter Kirlew said we'd go back to it. Peter Kirlew then started recording all the information for the windows, and then he asked me "which way would you like the windows to slide?" and I looked at him confused. Peter Kirlew saw that I was confused and said "Oh, we did a calculation and found that your windows are only 8% over, so you can use slider windows." So Peter Kirlew recorded the information for the 8 windows. This took around another hour to hour-and-a-half. Peter was constantly drawing my eye to the paperwork for every window, asking me different questions -- I was constantly looking at the paper and practically co-wrote the information. Then Peter tapped the 2 sheets on the table, and said "Finished". Peter Kirlew passed the papers across the table to me to be signed. While I was signing, I asked Peter Kirlew "Are you sure there isn't going to be a brick moulding on that front door?" and just at about the same time I was passing back the paperwork, Peter Kirlew said "I'll write it on the form in big letters so they can't miss it" and he did, writing on both forms. He gave me the impression he was writing it on both forms, but he only showed me the door form (not the window form). He seperated the sheets (carbon copies) and gave me a copy. I paid 30% of the total bill up-front the next day. Later on, it turned out that Peter Kirlew had written "No brick moulding, no casing" on the door order form, and on the window form he wrote "8 windows, 1 door" (even though we had agreed on 8 windows and *2* doors for the agreed-upon price). read more
