I wish I could give Greenhouse DJs a 10 star rating! I just got married two days ago and I couldn't wait to give Bryan and Katie my review. My parents told me about Bryan from a wedding they had attended because they couldn't stop talking about the packed dance floor. I called Bryan as soon as I could and booked him after the first meeting. During our first meeting, he just knew exactly what we wanted, seemed very relaxed and didn't push us for a booking or upgrading anything. He made suggestions and listened very patiently to our concerns and everything we wanted. When i called the next day to book him, he was easy to deal with and we felt as ease right away. I found out the hard way that the wedding industry can be brutal and cut-throat but from the very first meeting, I knew that we could trust Bryan and that we could take his word on everything he said. And then I talked to his wife, Katie, about day-of coordinating. She was sweet and talked to me for 1.5 hours on the phone about my wedding! She made awesome suggestions, listened to what i needed and told me to call her about anything I needed during the planning process. When the wedding was approaching and I was panicking, Katie and Bryan were the calm that i needed. These two experts have been running weddings for a while and know what's up. Honestly, I wish I had known how awesome they were going to be ahead of time because I could have stopped stressing a long time ago and leave everything to these two wedding angels that made my day the best day of my life! As you can probably tell from my gushing review, I cannot recommend Bryan and Katie enough! Bryan kept the dance floor packed all night, not only with english songs, but also made sure to incorporate the Sri Lankan songs I was texting him hours before the wedding! And Katie...I just sent her confusing emails about what I thought I wanted and she made everything look amazing! She was able to control the insane crowd, keep everything under control, help me bustle my dress in a back alley so that I could do my first dance, coordinate the first dance, made drinks appear in front of us for toasts, kept me hydrated, kept the entire timeline, keep a secret dance from family and basically make a night of chaos into the most magical night ever! They both filled in the blanks on our timeline, kept everything moving without a hitch and made sure not a miss a beat. if i sound like I'm gushing, it's because I cannot get over how happy i am and how beautifully Katie and Bryan executed my vision at my wedding. Ok go! Book Katie and Bryan immediately! We nabbed this dynamic duo for our 2.7.15 wedding in San Juan Capistrano and we are soooo stoked we did. Bryan is an amazing DJ and MC and worked with us on our very particular taste in music. Music and flow were VERY important to us and he did an amazing job. Mixing and mashing and fist pumping the whole way. He truly understands what happens on the dance floor and does everything he can to make sure everyone is having a great time. Bryan and Katie were the ultimate couple that helped our wedding not only run smoothly but made it so fun! Katie did everything for us as our day of coordinator; she taught us what to expect during rehearsals, went through every detail with me prior to the wedding, took care of all the decor and transported them to our separate venues, helped me get into both my wedding dresses and even went back to get my veil when I forgot it! She took care of my husband and I and even made sure we had something to eat and drink. Everything went as planned because she kept us on schedule and guided us throughout the process. She packed everything up at the end of the night and made sure nothing was left behind. Bryan had impeccable music that all our families and friends enjoyed! We gave him a short list of must have songs and the rest of the songs he played right on point to the genre we loved! The dance floor was never empty! Bryan was our DJ for our wedding last month and he did an amazing job! From the first time we contacted him, Bryan was so helpful, friendly, and responsive. He knew what he was doing and made the entire music planning process easy. He gave us suggestions for picking our songs and ran down exactly how the day would play out. He was able to edit songs for our first dance song, our recessional song, and the song I walked down the aisle to exactly how we wanted them. He did a great job throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was able to get everyone on the dance floor and kept people dancing and having fun all night. The Greenhouse DJs are amazing! I went to a wedding and a party that they were DJs at and had such a great time the whole night at both of them. A DJ can make or break an event and these two did not disappoint! Bryan made sure the dance floor was always full by playing great dancing songs the whole night and his wife Katie had us laughing and having fun whenever she was hosting wedding activities! A lot weddings and parties I've been to have cheesy DJs that scare people off the dance floor but these two made the night so memorable for me and my friends. I hired Bryan & Katie for a 60's themed surprise birthday party for my sisters 60th. They were referred by I a friend, but I was skeptical. Can this young couple really understand the music of the 60's, and would they just play a few tunes and move on to the kind of music that THEY preferred. They showed up early to set up and they made sure that the agenda was clear and concise. Katie helped us all feel at ease with her expertise on party planning and flow, and once Bryan started the music we knew that THIS was going to be one special evening. We not only danced to the 60's, but progressively, he knew when to whip the tempos up and change the era of music to all the great rock hits, and then he would give us some great relaxing slow dances, knowing how to pace this particular crowd. I hired Bryan and Katie for my wedding June 22nd 2013. I could not have made a better choice. They went above and beyond to help make our day special and Katie honestly helped more than my event planner on the day of! My florist was late and she was on all fours decorating my aisle with rose petals! When it came time to bustle my dress Katie was there to help! Totally not her job! My husband and I are so happy that we chose Bryan to DJ our wedding. He was personable, genuine and very easy to work with. We felt that he really took a personal responsibility for making sure that the whole evening ran smoothly and that everyone was having a good time. He managed to seamlessly coordinate moving his system from the ceremony location, to the cocktail room to the reception. We weren't sure how out lighting was going to work out and Bryan brought some extra lights just so that he could troubleshoot. My husband and I had the pleasure and honor of being Sally and Bryan's first clients, and I cannot gush about how amazing they were! We did not have an official "don't play" list, but Bryan was able to hone in on our preferences and played the perfect mix of high energy and romantic music all night! He even picked up on my husband's family's taste in spicy latin music (something I hadn't even thought about!) and made sure to include songs that they enjoyed. Needless to say, he was able to keep almost all of our guests on the dance floor and having fun all night! In addition, Sally acted as our reception coordinator, and I am being entirely honest when I say this: without her, our reception would've been decidedly less enjoyable. She kept the "tempo" of the evening perfect, from telling us how to organize the first dance, other special dances, toasts, etc. and making sure they all happened on time, to even preventing our wedding cake from being devoured before we had a chance to officially cut it (seriously, though, who cuts the bride and groom's wedding cake before they do?!). Both are relaxed and easy going but entirely professional and trustworthy. They made sure that our day was filled with the music we wanted, but they also shared their considerable expertise with us so we were able plan our reception even better. They made the process fun and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted for that day. Sally was also a great help before and during the wedding.
