He made sure the atmosphere and vibes was exactly what we envisioned. We had an absolute blast! What sets CenterpiecEvents apart is not just their team's talent but also their flexibility and willingness to provide a comprehensive package. They also offer a variety of other services. They provide Photo Booth services which was a huge relief as it simplified our vendor selection process. The pricing was competitive and the value we received was exceptional. A few months after we paid the initial deposit we also decided to add cold sparklers which they also provide. I did not have an official wedding planner or coordinator but Ron was super helpful in giving me tips and what to do when assisting with the wedding reception timeline. I was excited to work with him because coincidentally 10 years ago when I was an intern, our company hired him and my managers loved him. I found the entire experience to be confusing, conflicting, and had a lot of bad guest feedback on specially just the DJ and Emcee. I found Ron to be a bit controlling after reflecting and getting feedback from others. //CONSULTATION// My initial consultation was great and I thought it'd be great because of my call with him was so exciting and I felt like I was being taken care of. //COORDINATOR AND RON// Ron had a lot of feedback about my coordinators timeline - he has a lot of experience from weddings which I don't doubt. He didn't agree with her timeline and proposed a new timeline. I was stuck as a middleman and had to relay to my coordinator and he kept asking me to tell her about these changes. This is the last thing I wanted to do the week before and there's a reason why I hired a coordinator. Talk to her directly if you don't agree. I understand I have the final say but it put me in a very awkward position and stressful position. We ended up going with my coordinators timeline and everything worked out very well! Yes we were a bit behind but Ron's recommendation included changing back into my wedding dress again just didn't make sense. I'm so glad I listened to my coordinator. //DAY OF WEDDING// //GROOMSMEN DANCE// In my call with him I explicitly told him that the groomsmen and my bridal party were coming in and doing a dance and NOT walking in like a normal entrance. I also had it clearly written out in the agenda to play the song starting from the beginning 00:00 to 0:33 seconds. See attached image and video you'll see the video starts at the wrong time. The DJ played the wrong start time (started around 0:10 or after) and the guys messed up the entire dance because they choreographed the beginning. The groomsmen messed up - but what irked me the most was I overheard my cousin talking to him about their dance before saying how they were going to enter. Ron goes "I didn't even know you guys were doing a dance". He didn't even listen to my groomsmen and acted like it'll be okay. I clearly told him in my call and him saying that and to have him forget was so unprofessional. He did not do his due diligence in listening to requests and simply forgot. My groomsmen were annoyed and clearly upset at his passive aggressive response to my cousin. It wasn't about the messing up but more the attitude towards my party. //FIRST DANCE PERFORMANCE// We were going to sing this song called Marry You by Bruno Mars and dance to it after our slow dance. I sent him the Spotify version and of course, the song was incorrect. He showed it to me on his computer which weirdly had the right title but started playing Just the Way You are by Bruno Mars. Mistakes happen but he said "yeah this is the right song this is what you sent me!". Sir if you can't tell the difference between the two songs - I'm concerned. Did you even listen to it beforehand? //GAMES// We had a game which was extremely successful! It's the game where everyone pulls a chair up and tries to find items from the crown! However Ron only wanted 6 chairs and my coordinator had to be extra persistent in getting more chairs because It makes the game more fun with more participants. I heard him saying it's usually only this amount but my coordinator pushed for it. I think it made the game more fun anyways. //PLAYLIST// Ron had asked me to send over playlists and I noticed during the reception only like 40% or less of my songs were played when the dance floor opened up. I heard that DJs normally don't follow all the songs because it might ruin the vibe of the crowd but also, I specifically requested those in his request form because I had friends who had come where we have specific memories of these songs. And I went up to Ron and asked him to play this Chappelle Roan song. It was on my list but because they barely played any of my songs I requested it to be sure it was played. He kind of gave me a weird look and said that was supposed to be my last song but okay with Some attitude //OVERALL// I think Ron still brought the energy and aside from those mishaps no one noticed the other things - but unfortunately I didn't get positive vibes from him. I do appreciate that during the event he hyped the crowd up and also got our greeting table done in a timely manner. Do more research beforehand and actually take the time to do good quality work and pay closer attention to the agenda. I'm surprised at all these reviews if I'm being honest. We got a Black Friday deal…read morein 2017 for our July 2018 wedding that was supposed to include DJ/MC, photo booth, up lighting, cake light, and GOBO. We added ceremony services as well. And then, our DJ went dark. We finally got in touch with Richard in late February and he told us they were busy with other family business ventures, apologizing for the delay. ....ok..... On Feb. 26, I reached out to start settling details for the GOBO and photo booth templates. On 4/16 we emailed our final decisions for both. We reached out on 6/3 to set up a time to meet and discuss details. That meeting (6/5) was cancelled the day of because Richard had pink eye. We attempted to reschedule that day and got no response. I reached out again on 6/7 and got a response on 6/8 saying he had lost all contacts and texts from his phone. ....ok... We finally met on 6/11. I confirmed with Richard all the songs (I provided a CD with the versions I wanted), as well as a day-of schedule. We confirmed AGAIN the photo booth and GOBO logos we chose. On 7/12 (mind you, the wedding is 7/22), I called and left a voicemail concerned that I had yet to receive a proof for the GOBO or photo booth logo. I got a text back saying they should be ready by the end of the day. Telling me again that he's been "busy with family issues." On 7/15 we confirmed AGAIN the GOBO logo, font, AND correct spelling of my name. On 7/20. TWO DAYS prior to my wedding, at 8:49 PM, I *finally*get the proof. And my name is spelled wrong. Now, *SURPRISE, SURPRISE* it's too late to get it corrected. I'm very angry, but I don't have time for anger. I'm texting Richard at our REHEARSAL DINNER with family as he asks for a decision of a refund of $100 or an extra hour of photo booth time to make up for it. On 7/21, we just agree to have an extra hour of photo booth time. On the day of the ceremony, 7/22, I notice that the song that's supposed to be played during our unity ceremony is not being played at all. *sigh* The photo booth is supposed to take place during cocktail hour as my husband and I are taking our pictures. Per our site coordinator, my day of coordinator, and several guests (including my parents), there was no notification or announcement that the photo booth was available for people to use. Therefore, we have maybe 20 pictures of people using the photo booth. The actual music during the reception. was great. But there were too many holes between the services we paid for and what we received. Of all the vendors we used, I recommended the same photographer, seamstress, and florist to several individuals I knew who were getting married soon. Two are using the same photographer, and a cousin who is getting married next weekend has opted for EVERY vendor I recommended. I could not, and will not, recommend Dance All Night DJ to anyone else. I felt stuck because we paid up front in November and could not afford to lose that money and find another DJ. I don't have a nice way to say this... I don't care about your other business ventures. Although unfortunate, the "family issues" plagued us and made coordination next to impossible.

He initially showed up in very shabby clothes, which didn't match the formality of the event. He later changed into a white shirt, but first impressions matter. The real issue was the music -- despite sending him a curated playlist beforehand, he played unrelated songs, including some sad ones that didn't suit the joyful vibe of a Sangeet. Worse, he kept repeating the same songs multiple times. At one point, when the whole family was dancing, the groom had to step in multiple times to ask him to change the track -- which shouldn't happen at a professionally run event. Also he was playing the song from his phone where did not have cellular service- we wanted to help him playing the song. While the sound system was good, the lights were poorly set up and the smoke machine wasn't used during the event -- he only turned it on after everything was over- it doesn't make sense.
