I hate this company. The sales person told me all the wrong information and I got lock into an 18 month contract. When I call to cancel they told me I would owe a fee to cancel. They told me i can call in between if I see any bugs. I had bug before and scene they have been coming out i see 10x more. I think the bug like the stuff. I asked the tech if and when they spray inside my home. Is it safe for my kids and pets to be around it and they said yes. I have a 4 month old baby and a 4 year old child in the house around the spray. I also had a Frog in a tank. We had him for 5 years and they can live between 35 to 40 years. Miraculously a few month after they sprayed inside my frog got sick and nothing has change besides them spraying witch he has now passed. I would stay and far away from this company. read more

The account rep came to my door, promising $79 special for 4 treatments for one year. So $79 x 4. I agreed to that verbally, he said he's send an email with receipt, which I got but no contract. 30 days after the first treatment they came back for $126 with no notice, just did outside, not inside the house. When I called they said the $79 price was only for the first treatment and now I was contracted to pay $126 x 4. This company is dishonest and what the account rep promises at the door is not what their contract says that he only sent AFTER I complained. He said he sent it before, but I never recieved anything but a receipt with the promised amount of $79. Don't believe them!! Look at the other reviews for similar incidences! HORRIBLE RIP OFF COMPANY. Quick talking salesperson ropes you in. They do not perform the services that they promise, like cleaning out the cobwebs in the garage, and then they keep billing you quarterly. Then when I tried to cancel, they whacked me for an additional $190.00!!!! Worst of all, I still had the same amount of bugs, in fact it got worse. I had to hire my old local exterminator to really fix the problem. Stay away from these scam artists. When they show up at your door - slam it in their face and lock it up tight until they leave. Don't use this company. The salesman will tell you anything to get you to use them the first time, then they have your credit card number and you are hooked. We made sure it was only for a one time treatment and the salesman assured us it was. The guy came for the treatment and assured us again the notes said a one time treatment. A few months later they showed up at our house and did a 2nd treatment when we weren't home, and never made an appointment with them, and charged our credit card. The office is denying any notes that say it's a one time treatment and said we aren't in a contract but we had to cancel with them before another treatment. We never thought we needed to cancel since the salesman and installer said the notes say one time treatment. Run from Greenix and use a more honest company. They are sneaky and out to take your money. read more

Not very impressed with the service. We still got bugs even though we'd been serviced and they serviced my house in the pooring rain the last time they came out. They don't ever do the inside of my house anymore either. We switched companies and are having a better experience. read more

Although the techs were always professional and efficient, the service itself didn't work. When I called the office to cancel the service, I was told there would be a cancellation fee. After continued communication with the customer rep, we made a deal that they would come out and re-spray for free to see if they could get the job done. If there was still an issue with bugs, they would cancel my service and void the cancellation charge. After the re-spray, the bugs were still a problem and they even said some of the bugs were covered under a "different service" so they would not honor our agreement. Stay far far away from this business! What the salesperson tells you is something completely different than what they are actually selling and they will slam your credit card with unauthorized charges! Oh and their "pet safe all natural" indoor treatment is not safe at all. Many oils that they use oils they use indoors are actually toxic to cats and dogs and they have no clue whatsoever. The saleswoman came to our door and offered a one time discounted treatment to see if we would like to start using them. She also stated that they used pet safe essential oils on the inside of the home. We had just moved into our home and I was happy to have one item off the list until I could do research on a bunch of different companies. I made sure that there wasn't a contract and she assured me. When the technician showed up I asked him what oils were in the product he would use inside and he told me a few he actually remembered (which was not many.) The two he could remember were wintergreen and thyme. Wintergreen is toxic to cats and in most cases should be avoided in dogs. I refused the indoor treatment as I was easily able to find info on these oils. He really didn't seem to know didly squat about the chemicals he was putting down so I made the easy decision that I did not want to use Greenix any further and I told the technician that. If they are not a company that actually researches the products that they sell, I wanted nothing else to do with them. Fast forward to a few days ago and I get an email stating that my next appointment had been scheduled. I called them, spoke to a guy and explained that I didn't sign up for their continued service. He then tries to clear things up by telling me how they train their salespeople. This was a tactic to distract from the fact that their salesperson had promised something completely different to try to make the deal. I cut him off as he kept on going into their training (which I cared didly squat about) and said that I didn't sign up for more than one treatment and I didn't need their services. That guy went and charged my credit card almost $200 for a "cancelation fee." Now as I look online I can see that this company has a reputation for shady business practices. Our service man missed several things so I cancelled the quarterly service last fall, only to have them come back for two more services after I had cancelled. Now they are billing me for both unauthorized services. I call the office but never get a person. I will not use them again. read more

I originally had this service come out because they advertised an all natural way of getting rid of spiders in my home. I purchased the package of 3 treatments. I got this service done about a month ago. Since then I have seen more spiders in my house than before. Which I found to be very odd. I called them hoping for a re-spray or something they could do since it was so expensive and the idea was to keep spiders out, not attract more. The gentleman on the phone was very rude. Responded with just an "okay" after everything, and told me I would have to pay another fee to cancel. I would not recommend this company, because 1) it doesn't do the job and 2) their costumer service needs some help. read more

This company is a scam, I went on BBB and I found out so many complains from customers, just like my issues They send you the invoice claiming that they serviced around the house in the snow. We keep finding bugs and spiders in the house we complain and all what you hear from them is talk and no action to solve the issue, they will not cancel the service .Not worth the headache. I am very happy with this service -I have had this now for almost 2 years. During the first 3 months itself there was a significant reduction in chipmunks in my gardens and rodents. Also i don't see any more spiders and other bugs around my house either. This year i have a mole digging in my garden and Greenix will shorty deal with it. read more

I signed up with Greenex a month ago and they said my first treatment would be one dollar and now they are coming back one month later and charging me the full amount because they're only going to do the outside this time because there are some bug eggs supposedly out there. I called them and I told him I wanted the full inside and outside treatment if I was paying the full price and that I think this is a scam and that after my one-year contract is up I will be going back to my local company who never tried to pull fast ones me. Buyer beware! While trying to cancel service, I received a service notice. I called and told Greenix i no longer wanted their services. They came anyway. Now they want an early termination fee and for me to pay for the services rendered. Seriously. Several calls to their customer support team which responds like robots. To be fair, the technicians that serviced my house were always polite and professional. The applications seemed to be effective. My issue is with their business\billing practice. I signed a one year agreement and honored my commitment. After my 1-year agreement ended, I received an email stating that someone would be out to service my house. I responded to the email the same day stating that I completed my 1 year commitment and I did not want to renew. My yard was treated the next day and I was billed. A couple of days later I received an email stating that my email served as cancelation notice but I needed to pay for the service. Not a great way to do business. WE retained Greenix over a year ago, when a nice young man was out going door to door drumming up business. We live by Lake Erie, and have a lot of spiders and bugs. The agreement seemed straight forward, a year (4) services approx.. $100 a piece. Seemed a little pricey but, after the first visit and treatment we thought we maybe were on to something. Then they showed up late October for quarterly treatment. Then January? and again in April. They were to notify us of the scheduled appoint by phone as they were to be treating the home inside, They missed calling on several occasions notifying then we were charged for the service. One specific occasion it poured rain all day and they claimed they came out? This last time was the last straw the "Technician" showed up at the door in the morning indicating they were hear to service the home. I was at work and my wife was heading out. She told them they needed to come back they were supposed to call and she did not have time to wait for them. She indicated we were not happy with the service and that we wanted it stopped. With in 48 hours she received a phone call telling her we were violating our contract she could not stop it with out penalty (charge). She reviewed above issues in greater specifics, told basically sorry can't help you. I called and spoke with a Michael today 09/08/17, reviewed all the issues and on dates in questions, even though pouring out, or in the 20 degrees they did come out to service? (He in short called me and my wife a liar!) He said if we stopped the service they would have to charge us an early penalty for breaking the agreement. What part of not calling in advance, not servicing the inside and or outside of the home, on their part, was not breaking the agreement? On the first of July, I was hit by an employee of Greenix who was driving a company car. Since the accident, numerous attempts have been made to get insurance information from the owner of this company, to no avail. As a result, I don't believe this company carries insurance, and I would not recommend doing business with a company that does not follow the law. read more

Had Zach come to our door May 26, told us about their product, etc, etc., We decided to try it out, signed up for the quarterly application. First application done 5/26/17, they would come back to do the inside and any problem areas we had, collected their first $127. They came back 6/19/17, sprayed the basement and patio, we have been invaded outside on the patio by brown ants. Collected another $127.00! This is not what was explained to us. They want a voided check so they can automatically withdraw the money, we called our bank immediately. My husband called them today to complain but got the, "you signed a contract, going to cost money to cancel the contract, blah, blah, blah. Guess they don't know Zach told us we could cancel at anytime! Going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and Bureau of Consumer Affairs. Don't trust them. I can't believe I put off my pest problem for so long....I called Greenix 2 days ago for what I thought was a squirrel problem. They met my schedule perfectly, were super nice on the phone, and gave me a reminder call the day before. An extremely nice young man named Ken R. came out to help me. Turns out, I have a mouse problem lol. Ken explained everything to me, gave me pricing, didn't try to push me into anything extra....a GREAT experience. He answered all my questions and even took a look at my previous remedies and explained what was helpful and what wasn't. He also laid out what the treatment will do, what to expect when, and what will happen at follow-up visits. They are a green company and I was impressed with how safe everything is, especially because I have 3 children. I was so happy, I decided to start a pest control program for insects in May with them too. He again went through it all carefully about pricing, what to expect, and even who would be out for my servicing. We live in the country and mice along with insects are a big issue for us. He set the bait very quickly. I cannot stress how nice Ken was, and how knowledgeable he is. I am VERY happy I called Greenix :) read more

We've had such poor experiences with pest control companies in the last 10 years. As much as we despise solicitors, something about Brook made us take the time to listen. What a knowledgeable, honest, kind guy. So, despite our usual answer, we agreed to the year plan. It was guaranteed, they say. Like so many of my neighbors, I am glad I did. Before our initial treatment, we ran into a Greenix tech at our neighbors (Mark?). What a great guy - very helpful and knowledgeable. Our first installation was by Duane. Duane was such a polite, friendly, professional tech. He seemed to know what he was doing and was very good about answering questions. This was our first Greenix visit, so I appreciated his confidence in your company. Duane's trainee Deangelo was also very polite and professional. Even on a miserably hot Indiana summer day, the guys looked very professional in their Greenix attire and weren't shy about working hard outdoors. That says a lot for a company. Also, we appreciated the phone call on his way to our house. That notice is helpful when planning. Keep up the great work! read more

My experience with Greenix has been terrible and is still on going. I was given "a deal they don't do for anyone," in reality I was given particle information and ended up signing a contract that I am now stuck in. Costing me hundreds of dollars I wasn't expecting. I have tried to cancel the service 4 or 5 times including going IN PERSON to their office, still they have not cancelled. I called again today and of coarse the pawned me off to yet another person who supposedly will be giving me a call. The second service, a follow up to the first was a total joke. They showed up didn't knock on my door to check if I was home (I was), supposedly did the house in 10 min (manager confirmed via gps) and left before I even knew what happened. I immediately called the office to complain, I knew their agent did not do what he claimed via his check list I found hanging on my door. Swept my patio, brushed my entire house with out me noticing while my office I was in is has a large window?! The manager immediately got very defensive and abrasive to me on the phone. Defending the agent who clearly did not do his job honestly. On top of all of this headache we truly honestly did not notice any significant change in our spider presence from the non spray years prior to this service. read more
