I had never had a Brazilian in my life, let alone any other waxing service. I was always so afraid of the pain. But I hate hair and have VERY sensitive skin. I had my first ever appointment with Amanda today for a brazilian. It's pretty rare that yelp actually comes through with a great recommendation, but boy was this a win! First of all, Amanda is really sweet and easy to talk to, which helps out a lot in such a vulnerable situation. The actual procedure area was relaxing and welcoming, and the bed is super soft unlike the cold, hard table most places work from. The wax was the least painful I've ever had. My previous esthetician often left me feeling sore, uncomfortable, and raw for days.... not this time! I have extremely sensitive skin and it's literally been like five hours and I'm completely comfortable and barely pink. The whole process was very quick and she NEVER double dipped! :) This is the new go-to spot. So for me to say this means this place is really good!I like them to be very thick and I get so nervous people will mess them up and make them too thin. Which has happened to me in the past! This is actually my very first review on yelp after many years, because this time I cannot help recommending this place for anyone long looking for the best waxing place in LA. I am 34weeks pregnant and was looking for the best place to get my Brazilian wax done in this pregnant situation which could be more painful and sensitive. But Amanda did just fantastic job. Almost no pain, super clean, and quick. I even asked her "is it really done already? " because I was expecting some moments of pain.
