When asked at drop off time, I explained that my dog was super friendly, very highly socialized and got along with all dogs, same information was written on the documents. When I got there to pick up my dog I asked Brittany how he did, did he play a lot? Her reaction was odd, I could tell she was being dishonest. So I reasked the questions, clearly, specifically worded and the truth was revealed. They separated my dog from all other dogs and not sure where they kept him but he was segregated for the entire day. I knew something was really wrong when they brought him out. My dogs pupils were huge, his mucus membranes were bright red and he was frightened. My dog is very social and happy but he is submissive and sensitive to anger. What happened to my dog the day he spent at Greenlin Kennel? Based on talking to the kennel and their website I was thinking "my dog gets to play all day, he'll be so happy." Instead not only did he not get "daycare" he was locked up somewhere for almost 10 hours. I discovered the issue is that my dog is mixed with Pit Bull. Instead of judging him on his personality and temperament, they segregated him away. First, their policy should be clearly stated on the website. 2nd, the employees should not lie to customers. Now, why is this? Why not just tell the truth? 3rd when talking with them or when you bring your dog in for day care, they should clearly tell you that they do not accept Pit Bull mixes into day care. It should make you consider that rather than be honest they took my dog without disclosing their policies and then tried to lie. Why? Why would any business choose to lie and conceal their behavior? I would not recommend Greenlin Kennels to anyone. Doggy daycare can be a fabulous option for you and your dog and I highly recommend Canine Clubhouse. What a great facility and my dog was happy and tired when I picked him up. They told me he was great, got along with everyone and was welcome back anytime. The quality difference between these 2 facilities is self evident. Greenlin Kennels is at the low extreme and Canine Clubhouse is exemplary. At Canine Clubhouse, each dog is assessed/observed for temperament to determine how he will get along with others. My dog passed with flying colors. He has completed several obedience courses, is in Flyball practice and will soon be certified as a Canine Good Citizen dog. This is a well trained and obedient dog. He is totally nonaggressive and loved by everyone. He is gentle with children, does not jump on anyone, and listens well off leash. He does not deserve Greenlin Kennels discrimination. Importantly doggie parents have the right to know if they have discriminatory policies toward any breed. read more

The owner of Greenlin Pet Resort East basically told us our dog was a digger (note that the kennels have concrete floors) and got out BECAUSE THEIR BACK DOOR IS NOT SEALED OFF PROPERLY, not taking any blame for it. ONLY EXCUSES AGAINST HER. You have a boarding facility. YOU are running a boarding facility, that NO dog should be able to get out of. Had nothing but a smug look on his face. No apologies. They leave the facility at 6:30 pm and do not come back until 7 am. DO NOT bring your dogs there. My husband went back in to get photos of the inside of where she got out.. but Doug the OWNER wouldn't let my husband go back in. Please share this status and share it to news platforms. OUR DOG GOT OUT OF THAT DOOR, HIT BY A CAR AND DIED BECAUSE OF INADEQUATE CARE OF THE FACILITY. Doug admitted that the facility is not secured properly. Greenlin Pet Resorts does a fantastic job of caring for dogs. Our Baxter has gone twice a week for the last two years. He can't wait to go back. He starts to whine and wag his tail before we even get there. All the staff members are dog lovers and truly care for the campers. They love to run in the large outdoor grassy areas or inside if needed. A large outdoor pool is available for the dogs to swim and chase balls or just cool off. Baxter comes home tired and happy every time. We also use Greenlin for boarding and the results have been fantastic. Baxter can play with his friends during the day and be securely boarded in a familiar and safe environment at night. We get pictures of Baxter texted to us every day that he boards which we love. Please do not take your dog here. A relative boarded their small dog and she got out and was hit by a car and died. They blamed it on they dog but did admit their door was not secure. Why would you put a dog in an area that was not secure.. I use to take my dogs there just to run in the fields. One of the workers would bring her large dogs to run and they were very aggressive, they were in the next field but would hit against the fence trying to get at my dogs, she thought it was funny. Not sure if she still works there never went back after that. read more

Caring staff, good facilities, we take our dog there for daycare and have boarded him for a week at a time while on vacation. No issues and he does not appear stressed at all after daycare or boarding! It's funny, my wife will say to him "do you want to go to school?" He immediately wags his tail and heads for the car. Reasonable price. Highly recommend. Best of all our high energy friend comes home tired after daycare and is quiet all night so I know he is getting to run, play with his friends, and excersize while we are at work. read more

For the past several years, I often took my dog, Spot, to Greenlin East for daycare. Infrequently, I also boarded Spot. I feel the facility is excellent and I feel the staff is even better than excellent. Spot was always well taken care of. Sadly, this past summer, Spot left this earth. A few weeks ago, I adopted a new dog, Belle, and I have begun taking Belle to Greenlin East for daycare. Although I have not boarded Belle yet, I know I will. Our pups thoroughly enjoyed themselves while boarding here! Staff is very kind, attentive, and communicative. They made our little guys feel right at home and made it easier for us to enjoy ourselves, knowing that our boys were well taken care of. very pleased with the Middletown location. Atlas is a rescue dog that we have had for about 13 months. I love getting pictures on my phone while he is staying there so I can see him and know he is being well cared for and having a good time. Been taking my goldendoodle to Greenlin East for over 2 years. He loves the fun, playing with the other dogs and counselors, gets exercise and socialization. The manager, Lisa, is so knowledgeable and full of common sense. I appreciate the availability of the hours and open 7 days a week. Don't know what we would do without it. read more
