Lovely, knowledgeable staff and a nice assortment of plants that were new to me. Ask them about Hoyas. I am now a fan.

Easy five stars. No doubt…read more Absolutely beautiful setting. That's half of the experience, right? Service was excellent. Not intrusive, but attentive and accommodating. Nice job Samantha! And the owner is a great person. Tea: loved it! The selections are astonishing. Sandwich (tomato and mozzarella) and soup (broccoli and cheddar) just SO GOOD! High quality ingredients; exquisite taste, not overdone; and the bread... delicious! Rutland is blessed to have this place. As good as any similar establishment in a big city, here or abroad. All at very reasonable prices! Definitely the place to go.

July 27th catching up on reviews We were walking around…read moredowntown trying to visit a shop across the street and they were unexpectedly closed. So, decided to check this new place out. When we have more time we will be back. We were quickly acknowledged and answered any questions we had. We ordered 2 drinks teas both were delicious, can't remember them right now. As our drinks were being created I was checking out their huge selection of bag teas, I had Lapsang Souchong tea on my shopping list for making seitan, I was shocked to find it in our lil small town and so happy! The Gentleman that waited on us knew all about its smokey flavor! I'm impressed! Looking forward to using it this week! The shop is nicely set up and has room for expansion. Has a seating area that is nicely spaced out. Very clean shop items, teas have their own areas. Looking forward to visiting with some friends soon!

This is my favorite shop out of every crystal shop I've been to! I've been across the country to…read moreshops and Paula's is always the one I go back to. I see Paula every year on my birthday and have been the past four years! I drive just under an hour to see her each time and would drive longer if I had to. She remembered me from the first time I went. Her prices are unmatched and her service is amazing. She is so kind! She always has a big beautiful collection to choose from! If I could give her more than five stars I would. If you are looking for a shop with good prices, nice owner and a good selection with great quality, Paula is YOUR GIRL!!! Not to mention she's dog friendly! (Note, just make sure your pup is well behaved! I'm sure she has a 'you break it you buy it' policy.) I hope Paula's stays open forever!!! LOVE YOU PA

We noticed some unique recycled art sculptures out front & stopped in to check this place out…read more Paula greeted us and engaged in pleasant small talk. The store is very small and seems to cater to customers seeking crystals, new age items, and some small glass art creations. Nothing we were interested in enough to purchase, so we didn't stay long. We noted a huge chair as art piece across the street. Paula informed is that she had made the large woven seat for the huge chair art. Four stars for friendliness and unique shop, just nothing I was personally interested in. It wouldn't be a 'must stop' or 'drive out of your way to come here' spot for roadtrippers but if in or around town anyway you may find something of interest here if into New Age things.

Disappointed with a visit to a competitor farmstand down the road, I was still searching for a couple of herbs in particular. Taking me into the greenhouse in the back, she offered me all the assistance I might need, was enthusiastic in her exchange with me, and answered all my Vermont-related questions regarding the success of the individual plants. I learned that Timberloft also does cut flowers for weddings, and other occasions I would imagine, as they have their own field of flowers. Another find was discovering the handmade aprons and various table linen and other fabric items that she makes for sale. The fabric choices run the gamut from holiday to whimsical. I found an apron that suited me perfectly, that I just had to purchase. Up on the shelves are homemade goodies in jars that I am looking forward to trying in the next couple of months. I'm making this a permanent stop on my Rutland shopping list. They are open late spring through Christmas Eve day.
