This is my favorite shop out of every crystal shop I've been to! I've been across the country to…read moreshops and Paula's is always the one I go back to. I see Paula every year on my birthday and have been the past four years! I drive just under an hour to see her each time and would drive longer if I had to. She remembered me from the first time I went. Her prices are unmatched and her service is amazing. She is so kind! She always has a big beautiful collection to choose from! If I could give her more than five stars I would. If you are looking for a shop with good prices, nice owner and a good selection with great quality, Paula is YOUR GIRL!!! Not to mention she's dog friendly! (Note, just make sure your pup is well behaved! I'm sure she has a 'you break it you buy it' policy.) I hope Paula's stays open forever!!! LOVE YOU PA

We noticed some unique recycled art sculptures out front & stopped in to check this place out…read more Paula greeted us and engaged in pleasant small talk. The store is very small and seems to cater to customers seeking crystals, new age items, and some small glass art creations. Nothing we were interested in enough to purchase, so we didn't stay long. We noted a huge chair as art piece across the street. Paula informed is that she had made the large woven seat for the huge chair art. Four stars for friendliness and unique shop, just nothing I was personally interested in. It wouldn't be a 'must stop' or 'drive out of your way to come here' spot for roadtrippers but if in or around town anyway you may find something of interest here if into New Age things.

Speakeasy Café in Rutland is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile…read more The interiors are playful and full of character with artsy murals, whimsical sketches, and cozy speakeasy vibes that make the space feel instantly welcoming. The sugar house coffee was a standout. Rich, smooth, and exactly what you want on a cold Vermont morning. We also tried the handmade biscuit, warmed and buttered, and it genuinely felt like a hug in biscuit form. Shoutout to Ethan for being incredibly helpful and thoughtful with recommendations. With his guidance, we built a fantastic sandwich with sourdough, hash browns, avocado, green sauce, and chili crunch. He understood the assignment. Messy, hearty, and delicious. The vegan wrap was also flavorful and satisfying. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend Speakeasy Café, especially if you're looking for strong vegetarian and vegan options in Rutland.
