Couldn't agree with the other reviews more. Went in here to quickly see if they had satin rollers (which they did not) only to have a young woman who worked there come stand at the end of the aisle as soon as I started looking. Upon leaving, she "accidentally" bumped into me in what felt like an attempt to see if I had stolen anything and for her to see if she could knock it out of the inside of my jacket. Please don't waste your time going here bc I never will again. Would give it negative stars if I could. read more

Decent beauty supply store! They have the basics. They didn't happen to have the three items I was looking for, but the employee was helpful. While in the store I browsed to see what other items they had. I found the prices fair. The store is a bit outdated and run down though! read more

Harriet was PHENOMENAL!!! I have come to this beauty supply many of times, however this was the first time that I felt the need to write a review, and that is b/c I met Harriet, a new associate working there. She was EXTREMELY helpful in assisting me figure out exactly what I wanted (as I wasn't sure of exactly what I wanted before I came in). She was friendly, gave me her honest opinion, and I could not have asked for more. Greenway made a great decision in hiring her, as she is a GEM in that store! If you go and need assistance, I'd ask for Harriet. She's great! If it wasn't for her helpfulness, I'd have to drop them down a star! read more

Ignored Customer/ poor Customer Service Came in to look for a wig. Limited and cheap looking selection. Besides that-when I came in no one greeted me and as I looked around the wig aisle (obviously needing help) -the four women who worked there sat in the back of the business chatting in a foreign language. They saw me and completely ignored the opportunity to assist. It was a shame because I probably would have purchased something. read more

This store has two parts, one is a wig store with high in salon products the other is your run of the mill beauty supply store. I had to go into both in order to get everything I needed. My only complaint was the girl that waited on my in the wig store.. I don't think she knew anything about the products she was selling and wasn't able to answer even simple questions about hair quality or what the store carried. The regular beauty supply store seemed a little messy but the people were nice and knew the products. read more

They carry a wide range of products between their two stores. One focuses on wigs the other mostly on products. The lady always watches you like a hawk, like your trying to stuff your pockets right in front of her. Its not too pricey and its never too busy. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The workers are extremely rude/racist, especially the lighter skinned Ethiopian/Asian ladies in the wig section. They act like you're bothering them any time you ask them literally anything and they even give attitude when it's time to pay. Products are overpriced as well. You're better of going to SuperBeauty in Bowie. Prices are a little better there and I haven't experienced this level of racism/rudeness when I've gone there. I tried to give this place one more try but every single time I've been there, service even from the ladies at the cash register is terrible. I recently went there one last time to give them a chance and buy a wig. They were rude, glared at me the whole time without asking me if I needed any help with the wig I was trying on, and one worker even glared at me for a couple minutes then rudely stormed over to me to verify if I had bought the wig cap to try on the wigs. When I answered "yes" she immediately stormed back behind the counter, not once asking if I needed help and instead looking at me hatefully the entire time. At that moment I immediately took the wig off I was trying on, finished paying for the wig cap with the other worker who gave me the wig cap, and left the store although I originally planned to buy the wig because I refuse to give money to a store that employs or is run by rude people. On top of that, their wigs are just alright. I promise you're better off shopping at the beauty supply in Bowie by the Pier One, Target, and PetSmart down the street from Bowie Town Center. That's where I've gotten my best wigs from. Don't give your money to this rude place for average looking wigs. I will never go back there and I highly recommend that no one else gives your money to them either. Most hostile, mediocre shopping environment I've ever been in. read more

This is supposed to be no stars!! This is the worst beauty supply store ever in this area. I came in to find a specific hair style and the attendant accused me of taking pictures of their wigs and asked me to leave. Instead of asking me if I needed help she wanted me to leave. I was actually looking at reviews on YouTube of the wigs before purchase. So I complained on her harassing me. I will never buy anything from this store or even on my worst day. I usually spend about $100 per visit depending on what I am looking to buy. But I will not buy anything or patronage this store. There was no apology for her rude behavior, but I'm a firm believer in karama. Now I see their prices as well, and they are overpriced by $20 on the items I would buy.Never shop here. read more

First let me say ... I was always told you shouldn't have to pay for a service and beg too! I'm looking at various things and purposely walk past the cashier and two of the other workers several times. No greeting or anything.. apparently they were talking about a another workers less than satisfactory work ethic. Any way I was at the wig section.My 18 year old daughter finally says " let me go get one of the women up front,their gossip is more important than your business. One of the workers come in the back I explained what I wanted and she goes in the back to retrieve it. I wait 10 minutes... she doesn't return. So I go back to the front... and eyeball the other workers who , glance at me but continue with their gossip. Finally as I am approaching the exit one asked can I help you . I explained that I stated what I wanted but was still not taken care of. One of the workers goes in back and comes right back out saying " oh she didn't have the color you wanted , only 1B with 33 mix... walks past me and right back in gossip girl mode... " unbelievable "!!! When was the original Lady gonna tell me? .. clearly, I will not return! read more

This store was very good until I had brought an item in the store and ask for help about the item I bought, the young lady who help did not have a clue about my purchase, so when I got home it was not what I wanted, so I brought it back with my receipt for an exchange. I did not want my money back I wanted what I came for. I could not get anything accept the purchase that I did not want. I will never shop in this store again. The young said I could not exchange because I had open it. This was insane !!! She was very nasty. She is a twin that works there, and her customer service skills are terrible. I would give this store 0 stars if I could. First off, today was a super hot day. I noticed this beauty supply store was open but they were accepting only five people in the store at one time. I stood in line with my two year old child for 20 minutes in the heat. There was a lady and a minor waiting together, behind her was another lady waiting and behind me there was a lady waiting as well. After waiting about 10 minutes, the guy guarding the door, started calling people in one by one starting with the first family. 5 minutes later he called the other lady in to the store. 5 minutes later, it was my turn and he asked if i had someone to hold my child so I can enter the store. I told him no and I have been waiting all that time and he never said anything to me about my child not being able to enter the store. Let alone, I'm not even sure if they can do that. I then asked if he can get the things that I need and I can just wait and pay for them through him (curbside pick up). The guy straight up ignored me and told the lady behind me to enter the store. I also want to point out that they have multiple signs on the door saying curbside pick up is allowed......I normally do not write reviews but this was terrible service. We were treated horribly and I refuse to spend any money here. This was a one and done for me and my friends and family. I will also share my story on all my social media platforms(I have a huge following) and let them know about what has happened. read more

I honestly want to like this place however their prices are entirely too high I'm sure if they LOWER their prices they will get more business. People that make purchases between $5 and $20 is not enough to sustain this place! I'm never at this beauty supply store because the prices are not reasonable. The competition is enormous in this area and especially online with the use of promotion codes! I'm only writing this review to help. LOWERING your prices will allow your business to generate popularity....advertise sales in your window using flyers! Don't wait until you have to close down before you start selling your items at a lower price. It's that simple. read more
