This is my closest store, yet I find myself traveling for a better customer service experience. In moved to this area about 7 years ago and I have NEVER had a pleasant customer service experience at this store. The workers are unhappy, impatient and they seem downright unhappy. Even for pickup orders, I mean I did the work and you still aren't satisfied. I Looove they're always having a Niiice sales all in one and the fact it's different products!. The customer service is ALWAYS GOOD I've never been in this location since they redid the inside!! It's sooo much more spacious. The BBW stores if you notice every layout on the inside is different but it's always welcoming!. Today I Met Shayan she's truly a wonderful cashier/employee annnnnnnd She Found the one and Only last one of the Pistachio Glaze!! Mini Perfume!!!..everywhere including Va stores were sold out!!! She's truly a scented girls life saver!! & they had the strawberry flirt!! . So I gotta say Today was a Good Day!! ... now I can stop looking for them both the new scents for My summer is Pistachio Glaze, Strawberry Flirt, All about Her!, Sweetest Song!!....glad pistachio was found and I was able to grab strawberry flirt too at the same time!!!... so iiif you're reading this thank you soo much for your wonderful going above and beyond to find that Pistachio scent!! read more

It's convenient having this spot so close to my house when I need an eccentric soap fix... and they're always having sales! The tight place smells wonderful as you would expect, and sometimes it's just so eerily quiet in there. Is it a library or a store XD? On occasion I have seen lines out the door waiting to enter -- for those sales I bet. I'm lucky I've never gone during those times, as I would probably have a different outlook haha! The staff are always kind and I appreciate the sink with the sample soaps so I can actually try before I buy -- though there's been once or twice when there were no paper towels to dry with. Do yourself a favor and give their stuff a try -- they have something in pretty much every color and theme, so there's something for everyone. Take advantage of the sales! read more

I walked in the store eager to stock up on my home essential favorites. My shopping experience was cut short due to a complaining employee who complained the entire time about what she not gonna do, how she isn't working the sale next week and she complained about people wanting a discount on stuff that's already on sale. At the end of the day we all go to a job that we don't want to go to because there are bills to be paid. But don't ruin the experience for the customers. I called to speak with the manager and he sounded just as uninterested in the Job as she did. I'm really shocked for this to be happening in the Greenbelt location. read more

Had the worst experience in this store. I can't imagine my self ever going into this location , there is a employee here a lady with very short black hair her name is Janesse and she has a poison attitude, I walked in and understood there is regulations due to Covid so as I touched a item I placed it where the area to be sanitized thought it was and she walked to me and yield to put it in the correct area with a loud voice and stood right next to me with no distance once so ever. She waited u til I place item back . I felt so bad I will never visit this tore or recomend to anyone due to this employee poor customer service treatment. She is poison. I visit this B&BW once a month while waiting for my habitually late doctor to arrive (her office is right around the corner). I'm always greeted by friendly employees and love the candles, especially the yummy fall/holiday collections and the body care. They always have great deals, such as the 2 for $20 candle sales, buy 3 get 2 free body products, etc. It's never busy, I believe people pass it up thinking they don't have as much as one at a mall would. Wrong! They're always stocked up and always have the home fragrance oils I use during the holiday season. I highly recommend this location, always friendly & helpful and always either has what I'm looking for or will help me find a store that does!! read more

I'm beyond upset. Today is the $8.95 3-wick candle sell. I called into this bath and body works before going in to make sure I could make a full return and than repurchase my items because I found my $10 of $30 coupon. The lady on the phone agreed I could do so BUT when I go into the store I was told I could not use my coupon has it was on a previous purchase(a purchase I made today!)...all after wait 30-40 mins in the long and ridiculous line! This is definitely my last time ever shopping at any bath and body works. Ruined my whole day and just wasted my time and gas. read more

I got really good customer service. First time here and I feel like the employees here are really interested in helping you, not just the generic hello you get ( and don't even get at some locations such the Montgomery Mall store, for example). They were checking prices, checking stock, getting me tester cards, helping me with online coupons...I mean I was really impressed with their effort. Also very important, I need to mention I came in as the store was about to close about 20 mins before and they were still this helpful and nice. I will be back for sure. read more

12/15/2016-I went in this evening to pick up a gift card for my secret santa recipient at work. I browse for a bit and stop at a display of candles. I start to smell a few of course. As I'm there, an associate is helping another customer with candle decisions and what she sold today. Didn't even acknowledge my presence. Smh. Out of curiosity I wanted to know what she sold out of which happened to be the Mango Dragonfruit scent. I chimed in saying it smelled like the old scent Pineapple Orchid that BBW used to sell. She proceeds to say, "no its Mango Dragonfruit." As if I don't see it clearly written on the label. Continues about her spiel to the customer. I found that to be rude because 1.) why the attitude? Clearly you aren't a veteran of BBW products. 2.) it's the holidays, I know you wanna make your quotas but lighten up. Mind you I don't look like the average height 20+ female. It's almost a shame that because of my petite size I get treated like a child. It left me frustrated so I changed my mind on a candle purchase. I proceeded to front and purchased my gift card. Had I not been treated so, I probably would've put a larger amount on the gift card. If I wasn't short on time, I would've gone to another business that doesn't discriminate. I won't be frequenting this store anymore. I'll continue to shop elsewhere. read more

I always go to this location because its close to my job and I can run over on my lunch break. The people are always friendly and they have all the body wash a girl can desire. It's never super busy, since it is in Greenbelt. read more

I visited this store to purchase hand soap during the 7 for $20 sale. The store had the sign posted for the 5 for $15/7 for $20 hand soaps, as well as signs for today only, buy 2 get 1 free. At checkout I pointed to the sign and told the salesperson I was purchasing 7 hand soaps for $20, at which time she told me they were no longer running that promotion. After I reminded her that they still had the sign posted, she called the manager from the back for assistance. The manager then told me that since the sign was on the Fresh Picked wall, that meant I could only purchase the Fresh Picked hand soaps. This sale, which had been running for a short time, was not limited to just the Fresh Picked line, in stores or online. Adding insult to injury, this is the second time I have gone into this store and they refused to honor a posted sale. I don't appreciate neither my time and gas being wasted nor incompetent store management that seem unaware of what items are included in their sales. They need to better train their employees; especially at this location. I should not feel anxiety anytime I visit this store, wondering how I will be treated at checkout. read more

First off I went to use my coupons at this location and when I asked the manager on duty if I could use them, she said no because they no longer take 3rd party coupons because of their new policy. Ok that's fine, but when I tried to explain that I've done this recently at another location and wasn't told or given this headache at she gave me attitude about it. I just felt customer service wasn't be given at this location especially since BBW is so big on great customer 100% satisfaction!! They will never see any of my money again.
