This place is HUGE and packed wall to wall with products. Wigs for days, edge control, mousse, curling irons, makeup like NYX Cosmetics, lashes, shoes, random clothes, sunglasses...they literally have a little bit of everything in here. The prices are pretty reasonable too, especially for beauty essentials and quick grab items. The only section I usually avoid is the wigs. Beauty supply store wigs are almost always overpriced for the quality, and this place is no exception. One thing though...be prepared to maneuver. The aisles can feel tight because there is SO much stuff packed into the store, and when it gets crowded, it definitely feels crowded. I just randomly stopped by this beauty supply store because I was going to Gallo a few doors down. I was really impressed with how well stocked the store was and definitely the prices! They're very reasonable compared to a lot of beauty supply stores around. They had several items on sale and although I was just browsing, I ended up getting a few things. Ok maybe more than a few, but totally worth it! They sell clothes, accessories, hair and wigs and products for men, children, and of course women. The service was good as well! Check them out! DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE. Management here is terrible. I was told that I would be able to return my ponytails purchased just a few days ago, which is why I bought 3 at once. I came back to return the two I didn't use (unopened and unused) and they would not return or even exchange. $70+ dollars gone. They would not work with me . They were extremely rude. To anyone that might've made the mistake of purchasing the wrong cream or wrong weave and left everything unopened and you go within three days of purchasing it to return. You do not get your money back at all. Everything in the store are final sale. You can only exchange or get your money back as a store credit. Never have I ever had such a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN A STORE. This morning, Saturday, December 11, 2021, I went to Super Beauty in Greenbelt mall. Opening time on the parking side entrance read 9:30am. it was only 9:10. Since i had a little time, I walked to Target and headed back to Super Beauty through the mall, since it was a bit chilly. it was 9:38am when I arrived back to Super Beauty. I stood at the mall side door for about 10 minutes, tapped on the door and no one was opening. Then I walked out of the mall to the parking lot door entrance to the store. It was open. When I entered and saw the older Asian man, who I subsequently found out was the general manager, I simply said "you may want to put a sign on your door so folks know to enter through the parking lot side of the store." the Asian man began YELLING AT ME, TELLING ME IT WAS HIS STORE AND HE DIDN'T HAVE TO PUT ANY SIGN ON THE DOOR. I said calm down, I'm trying to make a suggestion. well the man yelled for about 2-3 more minutes telling me It's his store and he doesn't need put any sign anywhere. I was absolutely shocked. AND TO ADD insult to injury, then an Asian woman approached yelling the same thing. AND I DO MEAN YELLING. Horrible experience. Purchased wrong hair while in still in the store, I spoke with beautician and the owner would not let me make an exchange. I am not one to write reviews, and I don't like to make a fuss, but I can't let them get away with it anymore. THE STAFF IS RACIST AND RUDE! I have been going to this beauty supply for several years, but I will not anymore. I have always noticed how the cashiers didn't acknowledge you and there was very little to no customer service, but because I liked the variety of items in the store I let it go. But I can't anymore. HORRIBLE. Never ever again will these people see a dime of my hard earned coins! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! The poor customer service was beyond me. The store is dirty, hair is everywhere it's a FIRE hazard. I have photos of the hair all over the store piled to the ceiling in boxes in various places in the store. They just created a sign saying they don't exchange or return HUMAN HAIR, which is hard to locate due to the PILES OF HAIR. (See photos) The receipt says NOTHING about not being able to return or exchange HUMAN HAIR. The entire staff was disgusting, this place is so unprofessional. They have tons of handwritten signs at the front checkout. Uh hello because you posted a sign that doesn't make it a real policy! I used to like this beauty supply store because they have a lot of variety but I just bought a wig there today "on sale" for $64.99 originally $74.99. I came home and found the same wig online for $38. They really marked it up almost $40. Double the price!! Would give it 0 stars if I could. Two Ethiopian ladies working today tried to charge me $202 for 1 pack of Remi hair 18". I've bought hair from this store over 5 times 20" each time and never paid $202 for one pack of hair. She claimed the price was before the 20% discount that her manager usually gives but the manager would not be in at all today so it wasn't possible to give the discount. That was funny to me because whenever I've bought hair before I don't remember them needing a manager to give a discount. Please do not buy anything from this store. I went to purchase a hooded dryer. I picked up the dryer and the realized the handle was already broken. I asked one of the employees (owner) if they had another one in the back and he told me not to worry, he will come and fix it. For the next five minutes he walked pass me and never said anything else. I said sir, are you still going fix this dryer? He said, "$59.99". I said that's not what I asked. I have purchased Outre hair for weaving from this business on two occasions and discovered that this business is in the habit of removing the front closures from the packets. Word of advise if you're purchasing Outre's Remy hair for weaving, make sure to check the packet before going to the cashier. Also, another customer came into this business complaining about the newly purchased styling tools did not work and the required contents in the box was missing. It appears that this business is in the habit of removing weave closures and styling tools from the original packaging and selling them separately to make a profit. Very large store, clean and bright lighting. I gave 4 stars because. Have you ever been treated like you don't know what you're talking about by someone who clearly doesn't know a thing about a product or a simple concept. And then not want to argue because you'd be holding up the line? Arrrrrrrgh. There are tester Verizon's for their markups selections(which is great). So what's the problem, the tester for the concealer was an obvious 2 shades lighter then the packaged one. I go to the cashier to ask about this. And I made sure to speak clear enough so there would be no confusion as to why/how the tester is a different color from the sealed product of the same shade. The young lady understood me, but even then give me some switch around BS answer after she realized she couldn't do anything about it. She directed me to a slim male or East African Descent. Who basically told me "they changed the packaging" WHAT NO! You don't get the same customer service as you would at some of the smaller stores, but for as many options they have and their low prices, I don't mind it. read more
