I had to get some maintenance done on my car. I have a warranty that I paid for with my car when I first bought it brand new. I had to pay over 1200 for some things that needed to get done. If you don't ask questions, nothing ever really gets broken down they are very quick about everything they say. It's very fast paced because I'm sure their busy schedule makes it difficult to spend too much time with one person. The people are usually very friendly there. When they do service on my car it's usually fine but this time, the leather was soooooo dirty and they left the floor mat face down on my back seat. I had to sit there and struggle to put it back in place. There ls a big bubble in my carpet under that passenger floor mat and I have no idea what it is. The ac filter has something in it that's rattling. One of the guys (had one of those pointy swirl mustaches and was bald-no clue what his name was) came out asking if everything was ok because he saw me struggling with the floor mat. I told him that they left it in my backseat and now I was trying to get that thing back on. I mentioned the big bump in the passenger side floor too and he goes "in the carpet?" I said yes and he goes "you have a really nice car" I just said thanks and was so confused but ready to get out of there. I am not sure if I'll continue going to that location. My experiences there are usually fine-not good but fine. I had a terrible experience almost getting a car there once. I feel like the only locations that are really top tier are the ones that are not near orlando. The inside of the place is decent looking. The one I bought my car from in Tampa, had free ice cream and snacks and all kinds of stuff plus it was extremely beautiful inside. On March 13,2026, I brought my 2025 Kia Sportage to Greenway Kia East for an oil change and tire rotation. It just turned 5,000 miles. When I returned home and was reviewing the bill, I noticed a $19.95 + tax charge for oil supplement. I tried 4 times to get someone to call me back to explain the charges. It took 3 days of calling and leaving messages. Even left an email with the contact person (Gina Carpio) which is on their form should there be any questions regarding the bill. After my 4th attempt to reach someone, I spoke to the receptionist, Lisa Bhim. She apologized for the delay and said she would cc the Platform Manager and GM along with my concerns to the Service Department. This seemed to work because I received a call that day from Carlos. He explained that they add an oil additive to all oil changes. My friend with the same car, (2023 Kia Sportage) did not have it added to his when he recently brought it there for an oil change. I expressed my frustration that my issue was not so much the up charge of something I did not authorize, but the fact that it is not recommended for a new car with Synthetic oil. Research shows, including Kia, the following: Engine oil supplement is generally not recommended for a car with only 5,000 miles. At 5,000 miles, the engine is barely broken in, and modern synthetic oils already contain all the necessary detergents, anti-wear agents, and dispersants needed to protect the engine. Risks to New Engines: Using thick oil stabilizers or unnecessary additives can potentially cause issues in newer, tight-tolerance engines, such as clogging filters or damaging sensors. Manufacturer Recommendations: Most manufacturers advise against oil additives, and their use can sometimes impact warranty coverage. Carlos offered to have it drained and refilled but I do not have confidence in the Greenway Dealership to do the job. I will have it done elsewhere. read more

I went to Greenway Kia East to buy my new car and walked out feeling a bit scammed if I'm being honest . At first my experience was great. I reached out as I saw they had a 2016 Kia Rio for only 4100 listed on the website . I called the dealership and the salesman was very kind and told me I can come into to check out the car. I went in with my bf at the time and when I saw the car I knew it was mine. I was in desperate need of a new car as my old car crapped out in me . I test drove the car and everything . I did get a few pre approvals from other banks but I would've had to get a brand new car with a year of 2020 or newer and none of them were in my budget. I told the salesman that the Kia Rio is the car I wanted so I waited a couple of hours and waited to sign the papers . I sat with the finance department to go over approval for my car loans . He set me up with a credit union however when we went to look over options the systems were down so I couldn't sign that day. I was able to drive the car home and was told to come back Monday . So Monday rolls around and I went in to sign for the car however some things were off I noticed the price went up to $12000 and my payments were like$ 278 for the car. I saw they added their warranty, gap insurance , as well as their service package . I stressed I didn't need all these things but the finance guy was saying it was the only way to get an approval on the car . I signed the contract . However things went south from there . I tried to reach out to the finance department to request a cancellation for my warranty and service and was told to wait until I make my first payment I am like that makes no sense . Why do I have to wait . So I had reached out to their management to get the cancellation form and was able to submit it . The manager stated that this is not true and that there is no 30 day waiting period and I can cancel the warranty and service at any time . I also tried to see if I could return the car but I couldn't as there was no return period in my contract , and there was still a lien on the car from the bank. I was literally in tears trying to get someone to help me as I was not okay with an almost $300 car payment on top of insurance . I also stressed I couldn't trade the car in because I would be upside down on the loan and was told that because of the year and mileage of the car it was best to keep it at 12000. So after going back and forth with the dealership and the credit union I was able to get the car loan to $6000 in which my payment has been lowered exponentially . But honestly even with a man coming with me to buy my new car . I still felt a bit scammed because they added all these extra fees and weren't trying to help me . It took me going over there head to management to get answers and help. I will say their customer service is okay. They are friendly and willing to help you but once you drive off that lot you are on your own . I am very grateful and blessed to have my new car overall. I don't think I would recommend going the dealership route to buy a car and I don't really care for this one in particular just based off my experience . It definitely feels like a money grab . I get they have to get paid but I am a new customer and wasn't thrilled with my first impression. read more

I found the car I wanted to buy at Kia East. Pedro was our sales rep and he was wonderful! I am sure we overpaid for the Beetle but we found what we wanted in a used Beetle. I opted for the warranty just for the first year. I will cancel it (and I dread having to interface with the finance department) Nice people but I don't appreciate being inconvenienced when it comes to the license plate/tags/registration. They messed up the process on our new used car and we didn't figure it out until I was unable to renew my tag (that they issued to me) Caution to other buyers... this dealership screwed up registration and it took 6 months to figure it out and then another 6 weeks to fix it. I am writing to formally report a series of serious mechanical and structural issues with my Kia Sportage 2023, which I purchased new. After only one year of ownership, the vehicle has presented multiple major problems that are not consistent with normal use or wear: First, the panoramic roof glass suddenly shattered, which raises serious concerns regarding a possible manufacturing or structural defect. Today was finally the scheduled date of my appointment, but when I arrived to drop off the vehicle, suddenly no one seemed to know anything. I was told there is "no remedy available" for the issue, despite the fact that I had been given an appointment specifically for this repair. This dealership is quick to engage and attentive when trying to sell you a vehicle, but once the purchase is complete, that attentiveness disappears. They do not value their customers, nor do they care about repeat business. For comparison, I also work with Deland Kia and Jackson Kia, and both of those dealerships have consistently delivered on their promises. I know this firsthand because I own a fleet of Kia vehicles--30 units total--and I am often purchasing new vehicles. My advice: treat Greenway Kia East like the plague and stay away. read more

I've been having issues with my vehicle and they want to charge me 89 for each individual diagnostic. I told him I purchased an extended warranty on top of the warranty already provided and they told me that they don't know what my warranty covers that it's up to the owner of the vehicle to know what they're extended Warranty covers even though I bought it directly through the dealership. I told him this is a reoccurring issue , and I came prior to my original manufacture warranty expiring , and they told me that I would still have to pay. Very unprofessional. Waited on the lobby for about 20 minutes even though we had an appointment with a rep. It felt like they didn't want to help. Then, when we finally saw the car, it was very dirty. Sales rep said the car needed to be detailed but somehow the tires had already been "shined". Seemed strange that they would shine the tires but not have it cleaned. Felt like they did a "quick cover up". Took it for a ride anyways, and brakes were bad. When we told the sales rep, he insisted the car had gone through an inspection and it was good to go. He never tested the brakes or anything. He asked another rep and of course the other guy said the same thing, without even knowing which car it was or looking at it. Very unprofessional. They ran my credit without my permission not once but 4 times, said they wanted to see "if they could get me a better financing plan." While on a trip to Wesley Chapel, I noticed a significant bulge on one of the @PirelliUSA tires, which seriously compromises the safety of the vehicle. Since I was away from home, I visited the closest Kia dealership, which was @KiaWesleyChapel. To my disappointment, they told me that the issue is my responsibility, and @KiaUSA would not be taking any action to resolve this. I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of customer support from both Kia USA and Pirelli USA regarding what is clearly a safety concern. This is a critical issue that puts my safety and that of others on the road at risk. It's unacceptable for brands like Kia and Pirelli to ignore such a problem. I expect both @KiaUSA and @PirelliUSA to take immediate responsibility by replacing the defective tire and ensuring this does not happen again. During the conversation i made them aware my car had a balance and in order to do business, i would not want to carry the balance on another car.. this is where is gets sketchy... The person who texted me, indicates that they are able pay the balance off and get me into a new vehicle.. i then decided to call and to my surprise, theres an assistance by the name of britney answering the phone claiming to be an assistance of simon.. In my life, i heard of a car salesman having an assistance but ok moving on, i asked to speak with simon so we can run numbers and she said he has left for the day ( literally after texting me like 4 mins after i made the call) The next morning, simon asked if he could call, when he got on the phone, he was clueless of what has been discussed and my guess was he was looking at the text messages in a hurry. The story changes at this point, now he says that they can only offer x amount of dollars towards my car And the negavite will carry over towards the next purchase. To make things worse, he doesnt call, he text me claiming they can only offer me 12k for my car.. when i asked what happened with the 10k extra they claim to pay out towards the new purchase, he comes ans says is only for new cars.. This is the reason why car dealerahips have bad reputation.. so before buying a car, check the paperwork, ask as many questions to prevent y getting scammed or waste your time. No more responses through the texts that they were so frequent about before I signed for the car. The day I come in to pick up my license plate they tell me that there isn't one and I have to buy one. Originally, that was being given to me with the car. All I have is a long metal key with no sort of panic or lock buttons. To me, this is a huge safety hazard as I'm already a shorter person with physical disabilities. Not being given the things that are said are going to be given to you by a seller is frustrating. Because of this issue I plan to finish up paying the car I have and moving to a different dealer in hopes that my problem can be taken seriously. Greenway Kia East not only provided me a terrible experience, but my opinion is that they honestly don't care about their customers and that's based off my interaction. I went online to KBB to get my car's value. It had the KBB guaranteed price option so I selected that. Greenway Kia East came up as a dealership that would guaranteed offer me a certain amount for my vehicle. I had gone to Massey Cadillac first because they answered the phone when I called. KBB guaranteed me $31,500 for my car. While at Massey, I get a phone call from a saleswoman named Ilcia. I tell her I'm at the other dealership getting it inspected. She then says to let her know when I'm done. We begin texting and I asked if sending pictures would help and she said yes. I took a number of photos of my car and sent it to her. I informed her the other dealership offered me $32,000 for my car. She sends me a text saying "We want it, will give you top dollar for it. Bring in the offer from the other dealership. We can beat it". So I left Massey and drove straight to Kia East. I get to Kia East and they take my information and car keys. After about 20 minutes they come back and say sorry, we can only offer you $30,000 for your car. I said hold on, I have a guaranteed offer from KBB which states your dealership will buy it, and I have a text saying you'll beat it. I'm then brought over to the manager Jay. Jay tells me that Ilcia doesn't know sales and that she's "just an internet sales person", and that "her job is to just try and get as many customers in the door as possible". He can't offer me more than $30,000, that's what the market says it's worth, and it's not worth more. I said KBB offered me $31,500, Kia East as the dealership guaranteed to buy it, and I have a text saying you'll beat it. He told me "it doesn't matter" and that Kia East "isn't KBB". Unreal dealership that, based off my experience, doesn't care about wasting customer's time. They want to just get as many people in the door as possible, as their manager Jay stated, and see what money they can get. No customer service skills, no apology, no nothing. Hidden charges from the Greenwaykiaeast dealership. Greenway Kia East Increased my Car Loan without any consent from me for the amount of $1,820.00 for so called "INT/EXT PROTECT AND ACCES" or "AVC appearance protection" - "AVC" AVC" was not part of base or total price and was inserted by Sales as a separate item to the loan. When I was signing the purchase on the electronic device, Andres Urdaneta misleadingly presented me the negotiated price on paper, which did not include "AVC". I did not see his screen and later when the first loan statement was mailed to me, I've noticed that "AVC" was part of the loan Statement of Andres Urdaneta in his email that "The AVC protection package was added to the negotiation to offset some of the losses on the cost of the vehicle" does not make any sense: 1. It was not part of negotiations (I would not have accepted it) 2. "offset some of the losses" with "AVC" of $1,820.00 price of the car gets much higher ($ 1,160 more) than it was advertised on Cars.com ($23,951) P.S. Three months later, after complaining to BBB money for "AVC" was refunded. read more

6-17-2021 Another issue is, I just received the title for my new car in the mail and under odometer status it reads exempt. Upon looking into this that means that the seller of the car does not guarantee the mileage on the odometer. So in kindergarten terms that means the dealer sold me a car with 62,000 miles on it when in reality it could have 200,000 miles on it. I think I decided to change my two star rating down to a one star rating. They should've told me that on the title it would say exempt under odometer status but that information was never disclosed to me read more
