If I could give negative stars I would. I am sharing my experience to help other consumers make informed decisions. In February 2025, I brought my 2020 Lincoln Corsair to this dealership because the driver's seat would not recline. I paid over $900 for parts and labor to have the issue repaired. In January 2026, the exact same problem occurred--the driver's seat again would not recline. I returned to the dealership and was told this time it involved a different seat motor and would cost nearly $1,000 to repair. I declined the repair. Despite declining the work, I was charged $220 in diagnostic fees simply to be told that I would need to spend additional money on a problem that had already been repaired at significant cost. From a consumer standpoint, this was frustrating, as the prior repair did not resolve the issue. I attempted to resolve this matter directly with dealership management through email, certified mail and phone. I did not receive a response until after posting a public review. When I was contacted via email, it was stated that multiple attempts had been made to reach me; however, no prior phone calls or emails were received, despite my contact information being on file. I asked the dealership to take a look at a seatbelt that was slow to recoil. The seatbelt worked, it recoiled and locked, just was a little slow at the the end. I though this problem would be something simple like recoiling the seatbelt or adjusting the spring unit and for convenience had them take a look as I was bringing my car in for an oil change anyway. Lesson learned - I should have YouTubed it first. They charged me a $225 "diagnostic fee" which they did not disclose to me prior to service, only to inform me I needed to replace the entire seatbelt unit which would cost $1200 (on top of the $225 I already had to pay for nothing). They returned by vehicle to me in worse shape than I gave it - with the entire seat belt uncoiled on my seat, grease and blood on my seat and around the seat belt. I decided to look on YouTube to find out how to replace the part myself, which would cost me $500 for the part. Immediately, I came across many videos that recommended trying to clean the seatbelt and D-ring holder - which, by the way, worked perfectly and the seatbelt now works normal. I could actually see the grime coming off the plastic D-ring holder. If YouTube could tell me what was wrong by a few key words, I feel like they could have suggested a solution without even looking at my car. If they employ master mechanics, as they explained to me , shouldn't they know something this simple? I asked to speak to the manager, he didn't come talk to me. I used to like this place, but it seems like the new owner/manager isn't doing very well based on other reviews like mine. This isn't even the first time I have had an issue. *BUYER BEWARE* Just a PSA regarding Greenwich Ford. A few weeks ago, I hit a pothole that caused damage to a vehicle I purchased at Greenwich Ford. When I purchased the vehicle, I purchased an extended warranty. I reached out to them to see if the damage would be covered. While my guess was that it wouldn't be covered, I had seen references from people regarding this issue with my model of vehicle that had been covered by Ford. And so I emailed them, explaining the situation and including a picture. They requested that I bring the car in so they could determine how much, if anything would be covered under the warranty. My wife dropped the car off and when she picked it up, they charged us a $200 "diagnostic fee" just to tell us that damage by a pothole is not covered as it is considered an act of God. This is something that could have been disclosed without a visit to Ford "for a diagnosis". And no fee for diagnosing this was ever disclosed to me. It is a shame that Greenwich Ford does business in this fashion. I do NOT recommend that anyone does business with a company that engages in such shady practices. read more

Avoid like the plague. Bought a car....a week later check engine light came on. Went to service. Sam Renauld service associate was rude snippy unpleasant and unhelpful. Went back for first oil change with children all having a fit. Sam Renauld ruse unpleasant and unhelpful. 10am appointment. Took 2 hrs for an oil change. Each time I complain and try to contact manager....never get a return call. GM is a ghost. The place is rotten from top to bottom. Buy a car here of you enjoy being treated like trash as a customer. Even after my horrible experience against my better judgement I tried to buy another car here. I asked specifically not to be paired with my original salesman Jimmy as he was way too slow and I don't have alot of down time to waste. I went in and low and behold....I was immediately paired with Jimmy to "spare hurt feelings". I really tried to support my local business, but I can't do this clown show anymore. Do NOT buy a vehicle here. The customer service is terrible! Service Manager threatened to have my son arrested. He had a loaner, because his vehicle was in their shop, he called to check on it, and the Service Manager started yelling at him that if he didn't have the loaner (which they gave him, and they had his vehicle) back by 5 PM that day, they were going to call the police and have him arrested for stealing it. Then the Service Manager hung up on him! What? We should have the Service Manager arrested for harrassment, and threatening. The Manager should be FIRED immediately, as my son did talk to the General Manager. This place is NO GOOD. As his Mother, I am seeking possible legal action, as I work for a Law Firm. read more

We drove over 3 hours to see a used vehicle. We were told over the phone that it was in great condition. Saw pictures and it looked great. Got there and it was awful. Rust and tires were bald. Started it up and had a major noise which turned out to be cam phasers. There is no way they did not know that there was a pricey problem with this truck. We test drove it because we drove over 3 hours to get there and found more problems. A major noise from the rear end and the moon roof didn't open. It also had an issue with an oil leak. I am extremely angry that we were told how great this truck was and they knew we were coming from a distance. They apologized but don't tell me you didn't know there were major issues. They were just hoping we were clueless and thought they could make an easy sale. The people that we talked to while we were there were very friendly - so I don't know whose fault this was but it should have been told to us before driving that distance. read more

Firstly, Tammy who answered the initial phone call, and everyone in service was great... I bought a used car and I've never experienced bait and switch CUSTOMER SERVICE before, but after I got possession of the car I ceased to exist and my salesman Jay Scarincio all of a sudden didn't return phone calls or emails. Mysteriously he didn't get them until days later... Prior to this he was attentive, helpful, friendly and accommodating. The car was delivered to my home because it needed brakes. I had driven an hour away to complete the sale so that it could be done by the end of that month. I left without the car that day. Because of this, I had some basic questions which I had to call another dealership to answer for me! The man who delivered it barely knew where the gas door was. The car was delivered with three floor mats - NOTHING on the driver's side. Okay, it's a used car. Perhaps it came in with only three custom mats. There was NOTHING on the driver's side. I've never bought a car with THREE floor mats - they come in pairs! A cheap covering to protect the carpet would've been common coutesy. At the least tell me so that I could get one. I was not looking for a 4th custom, but SOMETHING- $20/ pair just about anywhere. I also had a light out and a problem with the washer fluid. I FOUGHT to have these issues addressed. They finally agreed to fix THE BULB. This after a denial and stating it'd be customer pay. Did I mention how wonderful I was treated BEFORE the papers were signed?!?! I had the same problem over the following weekend so I called the service department back on September 20th at 3:57pm and the women I spoke with (not Jenn) said they would submit the claim, get the necessary parts ordered and call me back. I called back on October 14th @ 8:34am to get a status update only to be told that "I never called to tell you about the continuing problem". So evidently the young lady I spoke to on the 14th never acted on it. I was subsequently told that they would submit the claim to the warranty company and once it was approved order the parts. I asked how long the "approval" process takes and she said not long, an hour. I asked if the parts were in stock and was told they couldn't check until it was approved. I called back on October 18th @ 4:10pm I was told that they didn't hear back from the warranty company yet and they couldn't order the parts until they did. Went to look at a 2016 Ford escape , loved the car but wow! Very high pressure salesman and was treated very poorly ! I immediately went to Clifton park and paid cash for a 2018 Mitsubishi. .... When you shake hands with 4 different salesmen as well as the OWNER of the dealership on an agreed price of $31k out the door for a vehicle, you'd expect to have a total payment of $31k, right? Not at Greenwich Ford! I spent an entire day arguing with these salesmen who were trying to get me to pay $37k for a vehicle that was listed on their website for $28,400 (and I was trading a vehicle in). Like I said before, I shook hands with the 4 salesmen that were trying to be my friend all day, as well as the owner, on an agreed upon $31k. Unfortunately, Greenwich Ford's final price on the paperwork was listed at $33k, which was not brought to my attention until 6:30 p.m., 30 minutes after the dealership had closed, and 8 hours after I had originally arrived at the dealership. These guys are con artists plain and simple, I would not refer my worst enemy to buy a vehicle through these guys, which says a lot coming from a police officer. read more
