They have good selection and their flyer deals are just as good or better than Home Depot. Staff are friendly and service is good.

I showed them my printed confirmation saying Gow's Home Hardware.....after some arguing I had a manager assure me it would be cleared up and I'd get my order in February....I received the Dish washer in March, I'm supposed to receive the refrigerator today, 6 months after needing a new fridge....Would I buy from them again???? Would you?

While not as big and well-stocked as Gow's in Bridgewater (LH doesn't even try to stock the kind of seasonal and housewares items that Gow's has), LH has a good selection of all the hardware basics, plus a few very special extras. They've got a fine, if small, chandlery section, if you need to work on your boat. And they sell Benjamin Moore paints and are truly experts in this area. I don't go anywhere else for my paint. Most importantly, this store has the best staff ever! They are helpful and knowledgeable, especially the ones who have been there a decade or more. No matter what project you're working on, the established staff members like Sandy, Elaine, Ron and Ronnie can help you figure out what you need. They also (I just discovered) have a very nice website.

Plus it is only 5 minutes from my house......HUGE bonus points. Yes the Rona/Kent/Home Depot in Bayer's Lake are bigger/better/ more ominous, but they are further away when you need say a junction box and generic ceiling light to add in my basement! ( last nights project!)

Best customer service experience ever!…read more I made the mistake of order my car speakers online and got the wrong size. Stubborn I wanted to make these speakers work so I went to Video World where I should have bought them, to see what they could do. The staff was very helpful especially considering I was trying to install speakers that I didn't even buy from them. One of the staff members showed me an adapter ring while another phoned to see if their supplier carried other options. They even had their technician give me some advice on how I should mount my speakers with the adapter. The chery on top was the fact that they even gave me a deal on some dynamat along with my adapters. I will be shopping for all my tv and audio gear at Video World from now on. I would highly recommend this business over any chain store, if you want to feel comfortable and walk out happy, This is the place to shop.
