One would expect a thorough vetting process for the attorneys listed, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. I chose to engage Ronald J. Attanasio from Sharp & Attanasio. Upon our initial meeting, 'Ron' appeared to be quite personable and seemed committed to advocating for our interests to secure the funds that were rightfully owed to us, supported by ample documentation. This turned out to be a significant error in judgment. After he received his retainer fee, communication ceased entirely. We were left to interact with his paralegal, who performed her duties far more effectively than he did. When we inquired about the lack of sharing documented evidence we provided regarding the owed funds to the defendants' lawyer he reacted with anger and ceased all communication via calls or emails. We were compelled to send a certified letter to elicit any response, which ultimately came from the paralegal. 'Ron' failed to advocate on our behalf, allowing the defendant's attorney to dictate the terms, even though the defendant had acknowledged the debt, which was substantially more than what we received. Despite the clear admission of liability, 'Ron' exhibited a lack of initiative to pursue the matter. Given the challenges we faced with this seemingly inept attorney, we found ourselves unable to continue with our case and ultimately had to accept the settlement proposed by the opposing counsel. The next time I need an attorney; I'm going with the defendant's attorney!

You may not always like what he has to say, but it is the truth and you probably need to hear it if you are not versed with legal processes. This man has been around the block and he certainly knows what he is doing. For an agreed upon fee which I paid…read morein full he agreed 1) to provide notice and a hipaa release to defendants in a medical malpractice case for me, 2) provide me with the cert. Mailing receipts from those timely mailed packets, 3) furnish me with the affidavit of cert mailing required under the statute and 4) mail to me the notice letter with his original signature. After the fee was paid to him he emailed a scanned notice that he signed and the HIPAA Release. No other obligations under our agreement have been completed by him. To this point he is refusing to comply with the terms of our agreements. The remaining work he obligated himself to would only take maybe 30 minutes to complete. He has spent longer sending emails and texts to me refusing to do the remaining requirements. I have audio recordings, certified mail and documents to verify this information. BEWARE.... To this point he has committed fraud and says B.O.P.R. Complaints, etc. against him will go nowhere. I do not know why he will not fulfill his contractual obligations to me.
