I had a pretty hectic move in day because of my personal oversight on what I needed day of move. I will say the mover driver was a bit predatory because they had to wait for me to get my cashiers check and it was a Sunday where all banks are closed. He said he would have to charge me for the wait time but then when it was time to pay made it seem like he made that up as a way to get more money out of me and said he could just apply the wait time fee to the tip instead. I did not appreciate that as I was already planning to tip. I will say when the company I used previously I did appreciate that they wrapped everything they moved. This company did not do that I'm not sure if it is something they offer and it's just extra. Overall my biggest issues was with the movers and that I lost a few items but overall a decent experience.

I had one issue with the frankly crappy reassembly of my captain's bed. When the movers left, the bed was bowed, drawers would not close completely and the slats were falling out or not fitting in at all. I reported the problem to Serena and it was corrected promptly. A crew came and reassembled the bed to eliminate the problems. Finally, Serena is the best. She is responsive, knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to work with. I contacted three different companies through Yelp, but ultimately chose JFP Express because they were the only ones who provided an all-inclusive price with no hidden fees--unlike the other companies. I find it frustrating when businesses try to extract as much as they can from customers through various pretexts and dishonest practices.
