This playground has a range of activities for the kiddos: - slides (varying in size/style) - swings - a ship that rocks back and forth - merry-go-round with space for a wheelchair - "rollercoaster" - monkey bars/structure for climbing - tunnels - musical instruments & sensory activities Plus there's a picnic area with tables and benches throughout. The area is neighborhood based and very friendly -- we've seen doggies going for walks, walking groups, and music in the park classes. Parking is very limited -- I think there may only be 8-10 spots, but plenty of street parking and a speedbump so you can feel comfortable walking w/ your little ones.

This is a nice smaller park located upon Garamound. They have a pond a big walking area they even…read morehave a skate park, Which not many parts have. There is even a water park if you want to call it that that little kids can play in in the summertime. In fact the Waterpark part of it is just closed for the fall,winter whatever you want to call it. There are two small parking lots at the top which seem to have enough spaces most of the time for visitors. There are several areas with picnic tables that you can eat her which is very nice. And they have a field. Many people don't know that if you walk around the back of the pond and follow the trail up into the woods there are even more picnic tables And if you go up even higher there are actually tennis courts up on top that you can access also from another road on top if you don't feel like walking that much. The pond is not the cleanest however and I really could use a little more maintenance on the area.

It offers 2 play structures for 2-5 year olds and 5-12 year olds respectively, 2 toddler swings, 2 standard swings, 1 covered picnic area with a picnic table, 1 full basketball court, 1 tennis court, a small green space, and access to Patriots Path near Speedwell Lake. No drinking fountains or restrooms are located here so play your day accordingly. This playground is a great feature in a well manicured neighborhood. The playground is well laid out which allows for keeping track of little ones from any angle. This includes the covered picnic area. Both play structures are easily accessible by parents who need to assist little ones just learning how to play here. The 5-12 year olds play structure includes monkey bars that are suitable for kids and adults to use for some play/exercise outside. It also features a double wide slide to allow for sliding down with your little ones on your lap. The 2-5 year olds play structure has 45° angled climbing wall and crawling tube to keep things fun and simple. The courts are full sized and fully functional. There is a green space next to the courts that is just large enough to lightly toss a ball or frisbee around. Just past the courts and green space you will find an entrance to Patriots Path. This entrance leads to Speedwell Lake which offers nature views and trout fishing. The T-intersection near Speedwell lake indicates you have arrived at Patriots Path which is designated for bicycle and foot traffic. At this T-intersection you can take a right towards Speedwell Park or a left towards the Lake Road crossing. Being a neighborhood playground it isn't typically full of children through the day. But it is a nice little spot to spend some time playing outside whenever you are in the area. Our little one loves to walk to Elliott Street playground from Speedwell Park via Patriots Path to get in a walk, some nature, and some extra playground time.

Truth be told the majority of the playground structure is just slides.. but if your kid loves slides then this is the playground to try! There's a bunch of fun ways to get up to the slides too -- a couple ladders, a "rock wall", steps, etc. Rumana is definitely on the newer side with rubber mulch and brightly colored heavy duty plastic parts/pieces. The playground has a good sized yard so great for kids running around too. It is enclosed by a fence but it's not lockable... so if you have littles then you'll want to keep a eye on them a bit more closely so they don't wander off. The small basketball court, merry go round and swings are all a bonus. The swings are designed for older kids though... no baby or toddler seats. Parking is easy -- there's no parking lot but the street in front of the playground indents a little bit so there's plenty of room for a line of cars to the playground and for other cars to drive down the street.

It's right by the residential area so it may get somewhat crowded during summer as expected with parks of course. It has a playground (obviously), a basketball area, an ample fenced yard for the doggies and a ground for a few sport im guessing for baseball and soccer? Im not entirely sure. But anyway i like it here, a good place for some peace and quiet sometimes when you have the place solo. Lots of trees for shade too. And the best part is the swinging bench!

A beautifully landscaped garden and ball field. The baseball field has 2 sets of 60+ person sitting bleachers, well lit night lights and pitchers pen. Plenty of park benches and trash cans for having bday parties. Also Built in BBQ pits. Parking is free and very conveniently accessible with over 120 spots, with RV parking. Public bathrooms are available and opened and cleaned daily. There are 2 massive playgrounds available for all ages. One is located next to the park benches and BBQ puts and the other right behind the ball field. My daughter and I had an amazing time at cedar grove community park. Very clean and safe atmosphere. Came here for our son's little flag football league sponsored by nfl play 60. There's practice and…read moregames throughout Sunday's and kids are group by age group and into nfl named teams. Overall, our son loves it. He's having fun on the field. The park also has a basketball court which is great to keep others (such as parents or siblings) entertained. There's a trail to walk across the field. I haven't yet ventured it but when I do, I'll be sure to update this post. There a huge golf course next to the baseball field. At the field are a few bleachers but recommend that if you're here to watch a game, bring your own folding chair and an umbrella. The sun can be very brutal here in the afternoon. There's plenty of parking here. The only annoyance is when parents create their own parking lane nearby the field entrance blocking the large entry way into the field. Unfortunately, there's always that one parent but that's not the park's fault. The restrooms are available at the park but it's locked. Not cool so not had to take 1 star away!

Its my son's first year so we don't know how competitive the league is yet. We just want our son to get some exercise and have some fun in the process. Its a nice park with parking and its across from a lake in Wayne. Its right off of route 23 near a fire house. They have a baseball field which is used for the football fields as well. There is also a bathroom station right next the field but was locked when I tried to use it. On the side of the field and parking lot, there is a gated basketball full court. While the kids practice you can play basketball or shoot around. I'm sure it will get busier once the weather gets better.
