If I could give Ethan of Gregory Green Electric 1000 stars I would. We were in the middle of a crisis. What we thought was just an easy fix turned out to be a potential dangerous situation. When we discovered that our entire electrical panel was melting, Ethan drove from Baltimore and arranged his schedule to help us so we could at least have electricity again and make sure our house didn't burn down. He did a temporary fix but knew we needed a lot more work. Initially i said it would be a few days before he could do it. That night he messaged be that he would be there the next day at 10am because he wanted to get the work done sooner than later. Ethan, was terrific as he personally visited my home when another employee was unable to visualize how to get the job done. Ethan analyzed then explained everything in detail so that I could understand. He set the schedule and adhered. He was very responsive and kept me up to date on his schedule. Sadly I cannot rate this business and give less than 1 star...Here's my experience: I called to get an estimate on running a 220 volt line about 20 feet to a new location for the dryer. He quoted me $400 for the job, which is probably a good rate for a Certified Master electrician, but a bit more than my wife and I can afford at this time. My wife shared this information with him about 10 days ago. Today, Greg called me at work to say that his son (not a Certified Master electrician) was free and able to do the work. I again tried to explain to him that $400 was a bit high for us and he took it as a personal insult. He said "well good luck finding someone cheaper" and hung up on me. Somehow the fact that I am a little short of cash was a personal affront to him. When we do eventually install the 220 volt extension I'm sure we won't use this electrician. Customers (and more importantly, potential customers who YELP) should be treated with respect and not like dog poo. My rating is actually a ZERO!! read more
