This is my "go to" place if I am going to Lake Shelybville on a trip. The rooms, while not "fancy" are clean and well maintained. Rich and Mary your hosts are wonderful, kind, and outgoing, always willing to make recommendations for anything you might need, as long as they don't have it in their store. This is just about as close as you can get to the lake and have a nice place to sleep, shower, store your boat, etc. They have a very nice little "store", live bait, basic groceries, fishing equipment, etc. They also do some nice omelettes, biscuits and gravy, etc for breakfast. They also have a very nice area to have a campfire in, a covered area to grill in with grills, tables, etc. Overall, you just can't do better in the area in my opinion! read more
