If you love colors then go in late fall! If you love swimming and cruising on the lake go in late spring & summer. This place is a gem! The atmosphere alone is incredible...the cabins are very clean, very comfortable and a virtual home away from home! Each cabin comes with an outdoor grill & fire pit. Wood is readily available as well. Comfortable chairs & picnic table outside ad well assigned to each cabin. I guess it's a fisherman's dream location but I don't fish so I can't attest to that. The owner & staff are the nicest bunch around. The harbor is a 5 min ride away and pontoon rental so reasonably priced. There is a local dinner which is about a 10 min ride offering great breakfast & lunch but we pack our cooler and do our own grilling & chilling. Bring your binoculars because at dusk you can watch the deer come out into the surrounding fields and there is plenty of bird watching as well. WiFi works great so bring your speaker for music ur our lap top for movie watching. Each cabin does have a decent Tv that includes espn etc for sports games. We stayed at Wolf Creek Lodge White pine. It was a great cabin and great location. Perfect setup for a guys fishing trip or a family getaway. We lost power the first night there and it was out for almost 7 hours. Not blaming the resort but we ended out leaving that next morning because we it was hot, we didn't sleep, and we couldn't take showers or get any coffee. We were supposed to stay another night but at that point we were too upset to stay. Very dissatisfied with the power company that supplies that area. Overall we would definitely like to go back and try again sometime read more

The Best getaway in central Illinois with an excellent variety of lodging accommodations for groups, large and small. The best location on Lake shelbyville as we can enjoy boating, fishing, biking, golfing, and other outdoor activities. Lithia Resort owner and staff has always been great to work with. I requested a certain cabin 3-4 times and they took care of me. I blew an engine 20 minutes into my fishing weekend a couple years ago and was scheduled to stay 3 or 4 nights. They were great about not holding me to my signed contract, and I left the next morning. The resort is perfectly located on the south east side of the lake real close to the boat dock and cleaning station. Great people / rates / & location. Would love to be there now. We called while we were on the road and Lithia Resort was so helpful. They had one opening and welcomed us and our dogs. When we arrived, they gave us the keys to the cabin. We drove over to the cabin and were truly wowed as soon as we drove up. It was a beautiful cabin with a covered porch. When we opened the door, we were even more thrilled. So clean and cozy. Lithia Resort was great for me and two friends that stayed here the last weekend of October. The two units we stayed in were very clean, had all the towels, TP, and dishes we needed. Kevin was at the front desk when we checked in and gave us a nice list of nearby restaurants we could eat at and gave us a heads up on where we could buy our bait for fishing. Cindy, Sheryl and Kevin were very nice to work with. It was so nice here I can't wait to bring my wife here next summer for a weeks' vacation. read more

We had a great stay at your facility. The room was clean, with adequate space & everything needed for preparing meals, or enjoying movies on the television. You are located perfectly to the lake. Being new to your area we knew nothing about the lake. We did not catch even one fish. Leaving the water the last time we encountered a gentleman with a very nice catch. We talked and he told me you had to know where the fish beds were. It would be nice to have a little direction to at least one of them. read more

My husband and I have been staying at Lithia Resort for 20 years. The owners have always treated us like family. The staff are always pleasant and quick to respond to solve any issues. The rooms are fully stocked and always clean. We especially like that they are constantly upgrading the cabins and surrounding grounds with ponds, catch and release for the kids and waterfalls. We highly recommend!! The location close to the ramp at the lake is a bonus. read more

I recently stayed in one of the cabins on the Lithia Springs resort. The staff in the office was very accommodating and kind. I enjoyed the 3 night stay there and had a great time. Absolutely the best experience. We have been staying here for the past 11 years as our last, summer hurrah. It is still family owned and operated, second generation now. The facilities are clean, well maintained, and perfect for our needs. Our dogs are welcomed and the short ride to the lake is nice. Went for a short fishing trip with my daughter for 3 days recently. Fished Lake Shelbyville but had better luck on the resort ponds!!. Very peaceful area. The room was clean and well kept. Price was very reasonable. Stayed in one of the rooms but hoping to get a cabin next time. Staff was very nice and answered any questions I had about the area. Would definitely recommend and Im hoping to go back very soon! read more

As with our group's previous 15 years, our stay at Lithia was outstanfung. All cabins for our group were in perfect condition and the grounds were perfect with ample car/boat parking. The stay is topped off by all the staff at Lithia who are so kind and accommodating. 5 minute drive away from the lake and Marina is great. Friendly staff, perfect room for us. We were on a fishing trip, they have a perfect size kitchen with a refrigerator, oven/stove, sink and kitchen table to eat at. They provide dishes, pots and pans, etc. So clean. Comfy beds. Even afew chairs to sit outside. Beautiful pond to walk around. When we come back with the family, we will stay at their log cabin. They look amazing. Love it! read more

Perfect place for the extended family getaway we have every year. The staff is extremely friendly. Cabins and rooms are always very clean. The grounds are safe for the kids to run and play on, and of course the proximity to the lake cannot be beat. The addition of an ice machine and firewood has been wonderful.
