He keeps denying he backed into it blames girlfriend but he was seen doing the damage. I saw the other side of him as he lied over and over....kept having personal problems such as mother of his son smashing his cell phone, denying him to see child etc. No show, no call several times. Expected Stand with Us to be out of business. When he cleaned was very good but lack of accountability detracted from overall service. When I called him asking about the railing repair he got very hostile, swearing, denying etc and his politeness that had impressed me vanished quickly. I guess that was his true colors.

I know there are people, possibly millions, who like nothing better than to clean moldings and…read morecorners, to dust and sweep and to mop floors to spotlessness. I am not one of them. Sure, I have a lot of excuses-- age, infirmity, injury, procrastination, cats --but I don't really need excuses. The people who clean for others (homes, offices, apartments, boats, trailers...any place people might live or work) know that many people, fortunately millions, either do not like to clean or are unable to, or don't clean well. I am one of them. After 20 years in my apartment, which is in an old house, and sharing that apartment with two cats, the dust of decades has made me throw in the towel (instead of using it to dust). Through Yelp, I sent requests for estimates to several services. CWW Cleaners was the first to respond and the estimate was reasonable. I Googled it and looked at their website, so it didn't bother me that it was new to Yelp. Basil was always quick to respond and was able to get to me quickly. He worked alone for 3 and a half hours. As I'd said when I requested estimates, my apartment is about 800 square feet: living room, bedroom, kitchen, bath. I went out and ran some errands while he was at work. I returned as he was finishing up. Clearly he had worked methodically from back to front, mopped his way out, even taking the trash with him. What I had requested was dusting everywhere and clean kitchen and living room floors (wood and stone). First thing I noticed was that my apartment did not smell dusty. And it smelled clean. As I went about the rest of my day, I noticed he had done much more than just dusting and floors. He had even washed the few dishes I'd left in the dishpan. Incredibly, to me, he had moved the stove out to clean behind it. And he had not only noticed the ancient grease on the floor next to the stove, but moved the wrought iron pot rack and cleaned it out. I mean that grease was there when I moved in. I tried Dawn once, didn't make much headway, so ignored it. I suppose I'd believed that no one else would ever see it. But Basil did, and that was the end of the grease. In sum, yes. Any time I need cleaning I will call CWW Cleaners -- who, btw, came from Niagara Falls to downtown Buffalo to clean my little apartment. Thank you, Basil Davis. P.S. Just sent Basil a tip because everywhere I look I find something he's cleaned that I never expected... even the spice bin. When he left there was a great feeling on my part that the job was done and the house looked great. Details, like the top of fan blades, were done and I appreciated that.
