For most folks - like my wife and I - the dryer vent is not a major thought. We take the filter out, clean it, and return it - and believe we have done all we can to keep our dryer clean and safe (i.e., fires do result from a build-up of lint). But we were surprised - and shocked--one day to find the dryer filter would no longer fit. A flashlight look revealed a horrible build-up of lint, packed so hard it could not be scraped. My wife contacted C & J for no particular reason, and wow: they fixed the problem, to be sure.
