Deliveries are always on time and the flowers always seem to last such a long time! They are networked into the floral system and can send flowers nationwide. Our family was out of town and we literally called home to the Magic Garden to order an arrangement for pick-up at the local florist for our daughter's wedding. Quality service and product!

Unfortunately she couldn't get any of the flowers I was looking for, so I had to work with the small selection of flowers she could get, also no store front to visit, just a website. But then things got uncomfortable when I asked her name. She wouldn't give me one and said I was weird for asking. Being i was paying in cash I wanted assurance she was the real owner. She was going to come to my home to pick up the cash in order to proceed. I would have preferred to drop her the money, as her coming to my home felt strange, but she wouldn't give me that option and being she doesn't have a store I couldn't drop to her directly. This was a 300$ arrangement and being paid in cash I wanted a guarantee she is in fact a real florist. The order has since been cancelled. Went with another that could give me exactly what I was looking for. Wouldn't refer a friend to Magic garden florist as she is rude, obnoxious, not the face of a business owner that is prideful in her trade, and my questions were met with her frustration and appeared to be quite an imposition for her. I see her reviews here, but as we all know, reviews can be fake as well, along with websites. Unsatisfied, if I could give her a zero I would.

The bottom floor has the regular Barnes and Noble, the Starbucks, and the RIT clothes and souvenirs while the top floor has text books and supplies (photo and computer supplies are still in the SAU by where Campus Connections used to be). Yes the prices are a tad higher on some of the art supplies and texts books but these are things that are overpriced almost anywhere (except for online) and convenience is key not to mention they now have a parking lot (which Campus Connections never had). Besides when you're paying almost 40k a year for school, who cares if they're charging you $80 for a $60 text book or $10 for a $6 paint brush? This whole new area of the campus is gorgeous and I wish it was around when I was going there. I'd recommend sucking up negatives, it's a great store and if you still feel emo about the prices then go get a few drinks at the new bar in the same parking lot.

I had my husband with me, so I couldn't do the kind of walkthrough I wanted to do. But I made sure to check out their candle selection. I was really glad I did, they have every candle imaginable. Their prices were affordable. Definitely less expensive than ordering online. Plus it's nice to walk around and see all the options. They have an entire crystal and mineral section. I could have been in that store for hours. It had a family environment, parents shopping with their kids. If your kids are into metals, rocks, or crystals this spot is it. I wasn't looking but I'm sure they have D&D stuff and other fun gam I liked the store a lot. Some of these mystic shops have a witchy vibe, which isn't my thing. This place felt more wholesome. Something us old ancestral witches like. Lol I ended up buying several different types of candles, sage, and a Rose quartz for my meditation room. Next time, I go back. I will update with some pictures.

And if you're the owner of a metaphysical shop, do your research as to not sell goods that may be seen as disrespectful to large groups of people. Long version: Listen. You can get what you need most likely if you're spiritual from this shop, BUT-- there's a seeming lack of social responsibility that should concern my fellow respectful witches. They sell white sage and native/African cultural practice tools that are not appropriate for mass consumption. (Outside of people of those descents.) In their 7 day candle section there was an 'Indian power candle' referring to natives, along with the white smudge sticks and other tools of that nature. It is my understanding based upon the actual words of Native American people in the spiritual and witchcraft community that native sourced dream catchers and such ARE an appropriate thing to sell as long as actual Native Americans are the source of these goods and being compensated, but white sage is both unsustainable and not meant to be used outside of their closed practices. And using a native person as a mascot on your candle with the wrong terminology is beyond inappropriate.
