More than self-care, this place reintroduces you to stillness. This is truly (no pun intended) the…read morereset I didn't know I needed, and now can't live without. From the moment I walked into True REST Float Spa, I felt like I had stepped into another world; one where calm, care, and presence actually matter. The front desk staff warmly greeted me and took their time explaining everything since it was my first float. I never felt rushed, only supported. The space itself is immaculate. From the pristine pods and rainfall showers to the soft scent of eucalyptus in the air, everything felt intentional and clean, not clinical. You can tell hygiene is a top priority, but the environment still feels warm and inviting, like a sanctuary rather than a facility. Standing next to the float pod before stepping in, I had no idea how much release was waiting for me inside. That glowing purple light now feels like a portal I'm grateful to know exists. Once I floated back and let go, I could finally exhale. The tension in my shoulders softened, and for the first time in months, my nervous system paused its constant buzz. It felt like giving my brain and body permission to do nothing, and everything, at once. After the float, I chose eucalyptus at the oxygen bar, and it was the perfect close, refreshing, grounding, and herbal in the best way. I sat quietly in their post-float lounge, sipping herbal tea and journaling under the soft glow of salt lamps. That space alone makes me want to return. It's rare to find a business that wants you to linger in your peace, but this one does. I signed up for the Plus membership right on the spot. Two floats a month, access to the oxygen bar, and a space that truly supports deep rest? It was a no-brainer. If you've been holding your breath, carrying stress, or need a reset, float here. And if you're nervous about trying something new, don't be. The staff treats you like a friend, not a transaction. This isn't just a spa. It's a sanctuary.

Then they tried to charge me a fee to reschedule if I didn't watch the video because it was mandatory. What a rip off. So my session was short because I had to watch a video TWICE. Will not ver be back to this establishment and I recommend no one else go either.

Rochelle, Rochelle, Rochelle, oh how you helped take the pain away…read more I was out riding my bike the morning after a storm. The storm had just broke and it was a beautiful early morning. An unforeseen obstruction was suddenly in the road as I came around the corner and BLAM!!! Over the handlebars I went and my carbon bike shattered into three pieces. I had to make a flight in just a couple of hours. I didn't have anything major broken but I was bleeding in many places and definitely already getting sore and stuff as I drove to the airport. I couldn't turn my head to the left by the time I got to the airport and my left arm had limited movement. Nothing had improved by the time I landed in ABQ and I needed to play in a golf tournament the next morning. After taking a few moments to pour over reviews of medically therapeutic therapists I luckily landed on Rochelle. I called her and explained the situation to her. She even stayed late to get me in. Rochelle took the time to evaluate me and then once I was on the table her intuition of what my body needed was impressive. I firmly believe she greatly mitigated the level of pain and seriousness of my injuries with her early same day intervention. Her service was certainly 5 Star worthy. The business lost a star for location and difficulty to find.

My body, mind, and soul had been in dire need of a rest and reset after having a sick infant and partner since Thanksgiving. I was able to make an appointment here for my Groupon easily on Monday. My therapist greeted me and I wasn't expecting anything fantastic because I judged a book by its cover. She was a small, soft-spoken women who asked what type of massage I'd like and what brought me in, I told her I preferred firm and deep massages and that the majority of my pain in resting in my neck, shoulders, and back. She was amazing. I always appreciate a therapist that listens, but also asks questions. I love a good glute massage as well and it was glorious. After the massage, I did the soak. They had me take a shower before floating to help get all of the oil off of my body. I loved the smell of the products in the shower. After my float, I showered again. I'd advise planning a little longer than you expect so you can shower afterwards and enjoy yourself, taking in the relaxation. I almost wanted them to offer me a pillow and blanket for a nap before going out into the world. I'll definitely be back.

Petunia reminds me of me in some ways, our birthdays are a couple days close. She's an extremely independent spirit. She is highly professional, has her own private salon space, and it's really an all encompassing spa experience to and for me. Petunia uses specialty products that are more natural. So say good bye to gel lamps, and all that stuff that can harm Or weaken you nails. She has a treasure trove of countless colors, and options. I brought a color I love, on my second visit! She is experienced, and a masterful professional and artist! I found it tremendously easy and welcomed to be my authentic self, on both my appointments. She had me there for 3 full hours of pampering and smoothing down my unattended rough edges, with salt scrubs, and filing the ridges off my nails. She's lovely, attentive, kind, real, and fun. Her personality compliments mine, and she's a very dear being and a treasure. I work like she does, as a hypnotherapist, giving extra time and attention, valuing my clients and learning from them! She is full of love, and I am too, so we get along famously. If you just want to fade into the rafters and have a quick, uneventful boring manicure in a sea of foreign manicurists, go somewhere more generic. Yet if you too are a Santa Fe original, and comfortable and secure in yourself, and being honored, respected, and treated like the true queen that you are, try something new, and let this dear professional upshift you to the next level of true fine craft and care! I truly love Petunia like an old soul kin friend, and I've only been to her twice. You will feel so blessed and beautiful inside and out. What a glorious gift to myself of connection, renewal, and supreme self care! Local, tourist, creative, whomever you are, near or far, I highly recommend Petunia's Place for the works. Don't skimp on yourself! Get all the bells and whistles. Make it a spa day! You are worth it! Yay! Graced and Grateful! Thank you Petunia! I look marvelous, and am turning heads with my lovely mani pedi!

Ajo Santa Fe Resort & Spa was a very pleasant experience overall. It's quite a drive into a rural…read morearea, which I personally enjoyed for the sense of tranquility and serenity. We arrived early and checked in at the front desk, where they provided us with bathrobes and towels so we could begin soaking before our official 3 p.m. check-in. That was a nice touch. We walked around the property beforehand it was quiet, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The landscaping is lovely, and there weren't many people around, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. At the spa, we received bracelets for locker access. I had forgotten my sandals, and when we asked about slippers, the staff was very courteous and provided them. We later learned slippers are included with overnight stays, which was appreciated. We did run into a small issue with the bracelets not consistently opening doors first mine didn't work, then later my husband's didn't so we had to return a couple of times to have them reactivated. It wasn't a major issue, but it did interrupt the flow of the experience slightly. The food was delicious. We had lunch in a charming area with a window view, and the staff thoughtfully seated us so we could enjoy it. That detail didn't go unnoticed. One small observation: when we asked to take leftovers, I noticed our server packed other guests' food & placed them into bags but handed ours to us unpacked. It wasn't a big issue, but consistency in service matters, and it stood out. Another observation was that they had a toucheorming note for my husband which was his birthday along with wine and desserts. Overall, the resort is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. With a few small improvements, the experience could be even better.

Pros: Great location. Nice scenery. Calm. The waitress and server staff were nice and gave my…read morefriend a dessert for her birthday. Free birthday soak in group pools. Nice comfortable hammocks. Cons: Expensive and felt "nickled and dimed". $65 for group soaks. Spent $50 on lunch, and they require people to rent the robes for an additional $20. They also run out of lockers sometimes, so in that case, you've got to put your valuables in your car (parking is also not great/limited). I asked that my robe rental be comped because we had to store our stuff in our hot cars, and the assistant manager wouldn't budge. We also waited quite a while to be seated in the restaurant and a number of other groups were waiting as well -- even one that had reservations. Advice to management: If you run out of lockers, reduce the price of something or give a customer more. As an example, forsake the $20 robe rental fee if you are not delivering the full experience and are putting the customer out (this is not Motel 6). Make sure the restaurant is properly staffed - even in between lunch and dinner rushes. Advice to customers: Bring your own robe! Expect to drop at least $150 there, if you eat anything. Call ahead to see how busy they are -- probably best to go in the middle of the week (not Friday or the weekend). I was there on Friday at 12:15P and it was packed. No chairs were available by the pools.
