Attended my Defensive Firearms Training Level 2 and the course introduced movement while shooting as well as situational awareness. TLDR: you will NOT regret your experience here. I doubt I will ever have a better experience with a gun dealer and firearms trainer. I've always been uncomfortable walking into gun stores or shooting ranges, and that was 100% not the case here. The nicest, most knowledgeable, thorough and accommodating folks I have ever encountered. My husband and I are in the market for a hunting rifle and a handgun, and we're a little lost on where to start and what to get and have a pretty tight budget. I searched guns on Apple Maps, and bam, Grey Wolf comes up 10 minutes from home. I check out their website and am amazed to find a 'Try Before You Buy' class where for $25 you can shoot five of their guns with five rounds in each. They had same day openings (on a Saturday) and you can book online on their website. They take Apple Pay in person too, not something you see in most small, home run businesses. We were able to pick five rifles and five handguns, and let me tell you, they have an EXTENSIVE collection to pick from, from antique WWII to the latest and greatest. We had an absolute blast learning about all the different weapons and figuring out what would work best for both of us. The range isn't huge, but for gun safety and training courses or testing out specific weapons, it was more than adequate. My husband had so much fun he wants to go back to try some of their other pieces. We'll definitely be buying the guns we decide upon from them; not just because we enjoy supporting local, small (and veteran owned) businesses, but because Dawn and Jeff were so amazing to learn from and interact with. I took their CCH course which is 8 hours of class and a shooting portion at their range on site. The depth of Dawn and Jeff's knowledge and experience is indispensable to those seeking firearms training. What could have been a long arduous day of learning NC gun laws turned out to be a fun and engaging learning experience. The price for a private CCH course is very affordable when compared to other businesses that only offer open classes with others. Scheduling was made easy through their website. I've gone and done a few of the private range rental sections and it's the best experience possible. If you rent the range for a set amount of time it's only your party and the RSO (Range Safety Officer) who on the range. Affordable, the ability to purchase paper targets or ammo, and a small selection of guns to rent while at the range if desired, makes this range a top choice for anyone wanting a comfy & calm spot to practice without the hassle of random people walking around. read more

Excellent instructors! Dawn and Jeff have a wealth of knowledge with firearms, and helped me learn all about firearm safety, choosing a handgun and improving my shooting accuracy. Another good day with Jeff and Dawn. My husband and I took their CCH class which could have been a long painful day if taken anywhere else. They are both super knowledgeable, fun and entertaining. There were nine of us in the class we got to sit in the comfort of their living room and Dawn served us her home baked treats. My husband and I attended a private Conceal Carry class on a Sunday. Super convenient!! I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The instructors provided an excellent learning environment, informative and never boring. I personally learned ALOT. We were allowed to asks questions and go at a good pace in order to understand the information. We were not left with any unanswered questions. I highly recommend this class thru Grey Wolf Firearms. Three of us took the Concealed Carry Class. Our experience before ran from zero to extensive. We all agreed we really liked both the class and the instructors, and, we're very impressed with how much we got out of it. Ours was a very affordable private class.
