The facility is acceptable as far as a bus station goes. The problem is poor communication skills by employees. The employees and or bus drivers assume you're familiar with the whole luggage situation and tend to get a little hostile when questioned. I booked my tickets thru Greyhound home page. On the departure trip, the bus wouldn't stay running and there was a fist fight in the seat behind me. On the return trip, I was scheduled for a bus that didn't exist, so we had to find another route, which left me at the terminal for 6 hours. According to Greyhound home page I should have been refunded that part of my ticket. But now they are giving me the run around. My advice is ride bike or even walk you will get there faster, less of a headache and a lot safer read more

Took this trip at the last minute. At 1st I liked the bus ride We made every stop on time Until we made it to Mobile A. We got there and was told that we had a 1hr layover. 30min before the 1hr was up we got told that the bus was going to be 3hrs late . I think there should be a back up bus for problem like these. Paid 200+ to send my grandson and daughter to Okc. They were to be picked up in opelika, go to montgomery, stay on the same bus, then switch in Atlanta and again in Memphis. The bus took them to mobile even though it was also listed going to Atlanta. My son had to pay 400+ to send them to Mobile from Atlanta, and the Mobile station's service was rude. If I could give zero stars I would. This place and the people that work here are GARBAGE. This was our first stop otw to Atlanta. Our connecting bus driver decides he didn't want to work so there was no bus driver to take us from Mobile to Montgomery and on. They claimed to have not drivers on call. First we were told 3 hours, then 5. In reality it ended up being almost 8. Passengers missed work and various other important events. The woman working kept it uncomfortably cold. There was no food or drink other than junk. We were not allowed back on the bus to get our items and when someone asked could we sit on the bus and sleep while we wait we were told no. Despite the fact that my ticket from Atlanta to New Orleans said there wasn't going to be a transfer, we were given transfer tickets, and stopped at the stop for about 30-40 minutes. One of the beautiful things about Megabus is that they are A LOT more transparent about their transfer points, and they'd tell you if you were going to stop at another station. This station is small and cramped, with not nearly enough chairs for people. It was just a single bus that had stopped there, so it seems like an idiotic, cheapass design flaw to have a Greyhound station that can't even seat everyone on a single bus, especially if you're a transfer point. There were between 25-35 chairs, and according to the internet, a standard Greyhound bus seats about 50 people. Like every bus station bathroom, it clearly hadn't been cleaned before the workers left for the night, as the two soap contains were empty, and the trash containers in each stall actually had bloody sanitary napkins overflowing. If your station gets a lot of traffic, it seems like a simple solution to purchase extra soap dispensers, or larger trashcans to accommodate the influx of additional passengers. At any rate, it was not a good stop, not even by typical bus standards, and I was grumpy and tired, and made even more so with the fact that I had to sit on the cold floor, leaning against a bunch of cardboard boxes that further shrunk the limited space. read more

This greyhound line was the absolute worse people are not accommodating at all. I've asked several time when the bus was going to arrive they kept telling me an hour past the boarding time. There was no one to speak to in regards of the matter. Then bus driver comes and takes her sweet time getting ready and getting on the bus. Boarding time was supposed to be at 3:20pm we left at 5:20pm I'm beyond words. If you're going to be late at least inform your customers that the service your willing to provide will not be done as promised on the ticket. NEVER EVER TAKE GREYHOUND! The bus driver Todd L. Is very rude and arrogant towards customers and passengers. I never had to encounter such poor customer service and unprofessional, unpleasant, and unfriendly behavior from a driver. This guy talks to customer like their dogs with no regards or no respect. I never really write reviews on yelp, it either has to be an amazing experience or a terrible one and when I say this was a terrible one I mean easily the worst experience I've ever paid for. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't take greyhound for any reason that is not life or death. So I like many other students decided to go somewhere for spring break. My boyfriend and I decided to go to New Orleans for a few days. Saturday morning we had a departure time of 1:55 AM and we arrived about 45 minutes later to New Orleans because our "connecting bus" in Alabama was behind schedule to New Orleans. No biggie that's not the issue it's much worse. When it was time to go back to Tallahassee Monday night we were supposed to depart at 9:30 PM we got to the New Orleans grey hound to check in about 30 minutes early. It was going alright until the greyhound check in guy then informs us that our bus was going to be 45-60 minutes late.. okay annoying but whatever. After about an hour and a half we finally depart New Orleans to go to Alabama where we would have another connecting bus to Tallahassee. We get there around 2:30 AM exhausted ready to be home to where they inform us since we missed our connecting bus because our first bus was over an hour late we had to wait until the next bus to Tallahassee which was at 4:55 AM so we ended up waiting around 3 hours in a small dirty greyhound station!!! And what did they do for the inconvenience.. they offered my boyfriend and I a voucher for a "free meal up to $7.50" at their "restaurant.. which got me a whopping lunchable and a sprite. So we finally depart Alabama around 5:30 AM and then find out it's not even a direct bus to Tallahassee because "we missed the direct one" so after 4 different bus station stops we arrived to Tallahassee at 1 PM Tuesday afternoon. An overall of 16 hours spent in greyhound stations and buses. If this even stops one person from riding a greyhound I will be happy. I used Greyhound Express for shipping a package and the first thing that happened was someone came outside and helped me carry my box from my car to the counter. These people are tremendously nice! I went on a Monday during lunch time and there was NO ONE there so I was helped immediately. I would use this service again. read more

Ok so let me start by saying Samantha that drove me from Houston Texas to Mobile was awesome. Very friendly and overall just really nice. Then we get to Mobile and this is where it turns from a pleasant ride to a terrible one. First we get yelled at for seat space like we are children then next we find out no wifi or power source available for a three hour trip. That's crazy for real. Although my bus buddy was ok this trip is already starting off rocky. If my trip back home is not comfortable I will not be riding Greyhound anymore. Horrrible. The security guard treats passengers like they are under his military command. No room to wait. People packed in. Guys begging for money inside cursing you out when you don't give them any. No organization buses hour late because of disorganizattion. All the buses there just no organization to get them in and out. Too small. Worst and most scary bus station I have had to transfer thru in my my life. No security checks, guy next to me said they fogot to even check his ticket and ID wanted to know where the bus was going. Incredible read more
