We saw this place had a nice outdoor patio so we wanted to give it a try on a nice Friday afternoon. Well, we've been there four times - and have never sat outside! The bar is so cozy and Mary the bartender is so friendly, we just stay at the bar! Lol. And we keep coming back because the food is so good. The steak n cheese sliders are the best and a must order. Today I had the shrimp tacos....everyplace serves three tacos, I usually don't eat them all. With these, I ate all three, and wanted more! They were SO good! It is now our permanent Friday hangout. While visiting my Massachusetts I decided to stop into this "tavern" for a few drinks with friends. I put tavern in quotes because the blonde bartender didn't know what she was doing. Drinks either had zero alcohol or too much in it and when this was brought to her attention she rolled her eyes and loudly talked about how she hates customers. Excuse me? Right bathroom clean, left had many flies. Con: AC was on & very cold inside. All servers wore short sleeves & most customers had jackets/sweatshirts on. Thankfully I had them in my vehicle! Went here last night. Sat at the bar. Great bar! 3 large screen TVs. Pleasant and friendly bartender, Jordan. Great atmosphere! Ordered Truffle fries for an appetizer. Fantastic! Had Fish n Chips and a veggie pizza. Loved the fish n chips. Pizza was good but I'm not a fan. I like greasy bar room pizza and this pizza is more baked pizza taste. Nice addition to Bridgewater. What can I say about this place. We ordered take out during the COVID to support local business. Here this...the owner had it fresh, hot and ready at pick up and on time. We talked briefly and he was so appreciative of the short interaction as well as local support he gave me cupcakes from another local business next door. They were also phenomenal. This man is awesome and is opening another place in Quincy so get to both of them. He had a great beer list and great menu. Got the chicken tenders, buffalo chicken sandwich, and shrimp tacos. Chicken was way over cooked and it was basically dust it was so dry. Shrimp tacos were a joke, 3 baby little shrimp per taco and they charge 16$ makes it very clear they put profit over customer satisfaction. Nice local pub with great sandwiches and wings. They have a decent beer selection as well. The wife and I have come a couple times before this pandemic and food and service were great. I think both trips were on trivia night which was also a good time. Since then we have ordered take out out and got delivery through one of the many delivery providers. For both deliveries the food was still great. I recommend the fried chicken sandwich and the garlic parm wings... I'd like to see them looking into making hand cut fries. Came here after a quick google search, and not impressed . Only gave us one menu, the water was full of chlorine, and both glasses had pieces of glitter in it. My raviolis were oddly smoky, and fries were over cooked. The quesadilla was flavorless. Also the server forgot my side dish. I felt queasy after, but that might have been me. This place is amazing! Not only is the food very good, the owner walks around to each table, helps serve food, and will personally ask you how everything is. I feel that goes a long way in any restaurant, but the feel here is just extra friendly and the food is amazing. I'm not sure if they still have it but they used to have an "appetizer" (I put that in quotes because it was HUGE) that was two giant meatballs in sauce and cheese with crusty bread and ricotta. It was probably one of the best things I have ever eaten. Also recommended the truffle fries. I only wish the restaurant was a little bigger as it is very small but that also adds to the homey atmosphere. They recently added outdoor seating so you can enjoy during this quarantine. My boyfriend doesn't drink so at first he ordered a coke and then changed it to an iced tea and she said she already put it in. And??? Credit it. Nope. She brought it out (even though we didn't want it) and charged us for it. My boyfriend got the breakfast bowl which looked amazing. He added streak which was super tender but no flavor. Y I tried my moms potatoes which were bland. I think they are afraid of salt and pepper. I ordered the strawberry AVACADO salad with extra avacado. Glad I asked for extra bc I got 4 slivers of avacado. I added chicken for $4 and got 4 pieces of chicken. The chicken had flavor unlike everything else. My dad ordered a second Bloody Mary and after I got mine we sat for 10 minutes waiting for his. Finally I had to ask the waitress where it was. Overall the food is bland. And the service is subpar. We've been here a handful of times for drinks dinner and brunch. Food is good. Sat at the bar for brunch. Not the cleanest staff. The bartender watched me pick something out of my fresh water. Young girl, I think hostess maybe, looked in the dishwasher, grabbed a glass with a sugar rim on it and asked if the glasses were clean. First time visiting Greyhound Tavern and the very last. We sat down at 7:45pm. We had drinks and an order of truffle fries. At 9:00pm we asked for our check without our dinner. There was a total of five tables dining outside and maybe one or two inside. We placed our order around 8:00pm, the waiter came back to inform us there was no fish and no beans for the burrito bowl. My daughter asked for the Mac & cheese and they were out if that. Over an hour for beer and "truffle" fries. Though the restaurant did cover our drinks and supposed truffle fries, it is ridiculous. I've been coming to Greyhound Tavern every Monday with a bunch of friends. We come enjoy a drink and $0.25 wings each and every week! The wings are fresh and extremely tender. The food is not good. Our waitress was friendly and nice. Only half of the staff wore masks which is a mandate. The employee behind the bar did not wear a mask but did put one on when a police officer walked in to pick up his takeout. Will not return. read more

I would love to give this place 5 stars but since it's my first visit I will give it a solid 4.5. I can't say anything negative about this place. I like the interior and the bar space...it gives it a chill vibe. We went for their half price pizza deal and I was shocked that it was for all their pizza, not just cheese like most places.
