Caesar salad with anchovy and jumbo shrimp.

As always, a fine meal accompanied by courteous service by Lisa M. A full fillet spilling out of the bun onto your plate. Perfectly crisp and tasty. The summer mac salad was very refreshing in spite of being made from mostly pasta. My date enjoyed his meal of grilled salmon. Will always stop back. :)

Went with the parents and my son a few weeks ago (Parents live close by) Its got that local vibe atmosphere and many people would walk in & know each other. Super Casual, keno, Full bar. Food is what you would expect at a local tavern, Fried, burgers, salads, things like that - menu had tons of stuff. Got the Steak & Cheese quesadillas and they were good, just too much steak (I know Im complaining, too much meat that makes no sense right)? Well Quesadillas arent supposed to be stuffed like a sub, just my opinion. Chili and chicken Im told were good, drinks were ok.

Not the greatest, actually, nothing to write home about. The food is barely average and the atmosphere is nothing special. Service is okay though we had to wait for drinks considerably longer than normal.

Meatball parm sandwich is 'meh'. Crinkle fries are good when hot.

The ambiance here is comfortable. Our waitress was VERY good. The food was not very good. They do have a lot of beers on tap. That about sums it up. If you want more: The meatball sub kept 'repeating' itself. The warm fish taco had a bed of cold, bagged, shredded cheese in the bottom of the flour tortilla. That came off immediately. What should happen is as you warm the tortilla, throw the cheese on there to warm that up as well. It's not at all spicy to my taste. A bit sweet. Place was packed when we arrived and had a line when we left so definitely a popular location. We were asked if a 'high top' in the bar was OK, or did we want to wait for a booth. As the bar is right inside the door I'm not sure how large the dining room is. The decor is nautical miscellany and dark wood. The background music was a mix or 'oh that's nice' and 'omg, who plays this song anymore?' Our waitress really is very good. The second beer ordered, same as the first, came looking cloudy. Tasted the same, but definitely not the same appearance. The waitress, after leaving it for us, came back to check and noticed it looked cloudy. She took it away and got another. She was friendly and attentive through out our visit. Rest rooms are just inside the entrance, off the bar area. The stall door closure did not 'meet up' with their other half so the door did not lock. The door is a snug fit with the casing so you can just wedge the door in place and it won't swing open. Appears to be plenty of parking in the lot out front.

Cool place! I was on a business trip from out of town and shocked that the Red Sox game wasn't playing. I had to ask 4 times for them to put it on.... lol.... The food was amazing though! I got the Big Pali burger and the picture does not do justice to how amazing it actually was.

Dad said his chili was cold, but I didnt try. The onion soup was warm and had all the perfect amounts of burnt cheese... Service was fine, wasnt overly attended to but hey it is what it is... Not having been to Doyles in ages I said let's give it a shot. We are equal distance to Brockton and Easton but decided S Easton We called and was told about 30 minutes which was perfect. It was a good call! Timed it well, piping hot and the meals traveled well back home Thats a big deal with take out in my opinion. Many times, we have eaten in at a restaurant and been happy but on the takeout or delivery it's not the same. In this case the Rueban marble toast was still warm and crispy on top, bottom piece a bit soggy but to be expected. The sandwich was enormous. I could only eat half the and only half my sweet potato fries. The fries were a bit soggy but still great. The cole slaw was great. In fact, I just reheated it the leftover, in the oven of course, for lunch and it was perfect. Made the fries crunchy. Other orders were lobster roll very expensive but delicious. Hey, whatever princess wants lol and my buddy got the fried stripped clam plate, and said it was good. Ordering out is always a big deal with the economy and rising food prices everyone needs to spend wisely. Doyles isn't cheap but it is fair, and we were happy with our choices, and everyone agrees its now on the short list of solid places.

Have you ever gone to an…read moreestablishment and felt like you must have missed the sign on the door that had a picture of your face on it that read "DO NOT SERVE"? Because that's essentially how we were treated by our server. She was an older woman with brow hair and the coldest demeanor I have ever encountered in a brewery or restaurant setting. It took fifteen minutes to get menus and another twenty minutes until I got up and just went straight to the bar to order our drinks and food. I know--at that point we should have left, but we have been here before and enjoyed the beer. We tried to politely get her attention several times, and I swear each time she would zoom right by us or even take a totally different path among tables. Like I said, I took my business straight up to the bar and the bartender was super sweet and put our order in and brought our drinks in a couple of minutes. The OG waitress came back with the food order and slammed some napkins down on the table and trotted off. My friend and I both just stared at each other and laughed. We were sitting at a communal table alongside a couple and the gentleman said, "She's got a gentle touch, doesn't she?" We had a good laugh, but the couple confirmed that this had been the vibe since they arrived a half hour before us. In that respect, I guess the OG waitress helped to build community last night, leaving us not to wonder, "Did we do something wrong," but rather, "Woof, wonder what's wrong in her world." It didn't last long though. She stopped by once at last call to which my friend immediately declined. The OG waitress then brought the checks for both parties, though oddly, she collected the couples next to us and the folks behind us, but not ours. We watched the couple leave and the table behind us, and again, we watched the OG waitress totally avoid eye contact and literally clear half our table and surrounding trash, but seemed to be adamant about not taking our cards to process. So again, we traveled to the bar to settle up and leave. The OG waitress came up and was talking to the bartender and clearly stated, "Next time, I'm not doing this. I'm going to be behind the bar and you're gonna be running the floor." Boy, we do love a lack of accountability and a poor team player! In regard to the beer, I ordered the Cape House, which was OK and my friend ordered the Vanilla Cream Madagascar which she really did enjoy. We ordered wings and queso. The wings were super dry and came with what was a low quality, store bought blue cheese dip. The queso cheese was really disappointing--it had a pleasant kick to it, but it also had a grainy texture. The tortilla chips that came with the queso were stale! Unfortunately, I will be back here as they also charged my card TWICE last night. Wish me luck!
