We just got into the camping lifestyle (glamping)!!! We love this site and they are always very friendly. The pool is fun and at Halloween they go all out with activities! We had a lot that allowed us to face our friends that also bring their camper and it was a lot of fun just enjoying the outdoors! We can't wait to go back!!

My family and I spent a week at this camp and let me tell you we had the time of our lives. Besides the limited space you have between the RVs, everything was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The camp is surrounded by scenic views and with the activities they have everyday you can't get bored. The 3 pools were amazing as everyone loved the one with the slides. It was just overall an amazing experience. Come on down and check this place out, you will not regret it.

I really need to get back to reviewing campgrounds again! Stayed here for the 2nd time in the past few years and loved it. Really, their standards are some of the highest for RV camping or "glamping". No tents or pop-up campers (sorry guys!) Super sites (full hook up and cable....250 channels, what?!?) and super customer service, all with friendly southern hospitality. If you have kids, they will not be at a loss for things to do. The pool looked really fun! Parents too! Spend the day shopping in White Stone or looking for antiques in Irvington. Eat at one of the many get area restaurants.Take a sunset boat cruise from one of the many boat captains in the area or head to Windmill Point and sit on the beach and chill as you watch the water. Stay here and learn what it means to be on Northern Neck time. See you on the Rivah!

The views were incredible. There was a good amount of space at the site. The pool wasn't open when went but it looked fun.

Located by the Patuxent River with a breathtaking view, Endeavor Point, is a ridden gem with campground, private beaches you can swim, a huge fishing pier, and cottages for rentals. From the moment you step onto the grounds of this place you feel your entire body relaxing. It is an amazing experience! I rented a cottage (Mermaid Folly) for the weekend. The place was very well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room furniture, very comfortable beds with soft linens, clean baths with soft towels. In general, the place was very clean, well decorated, and very functional. What I loved the most about the cottage was the balcony with a fantastic view, sitting outside under the tree close to the water, and listening to the waves breaking by the river shore. I also loved my walks in the mornings and afternoons by the breezy beaches and pier watching people fishing, the sunrising, and the sunset. I strongly recommend Endeavor Point if you want to just relax on a visit during the day, if you like camping overnight, or staying in a very comfortable cottage over the weekend.

The campsites are clean and well-kept and are located right next to the beach. As a previous person noted, you must be affiliated with the DoD for access to the Dam Neck Annex - the Navy base the campground is located on. I have two critiques that prevent me from a five-star review. The first is that the campsites are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. We made our reservations in January for our August trip based on recommendations from friends and knowing the campground would fill up quickly. When we arrived on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm, after driving seven hours to get there, the only spots remaining were the two "shared" sites. Each was already half occupied by someone we didn't know. The space between the sites is no more than what you'd get in a parking lot (you share the same concrete pad). A reservation system that allowed you to reserve specific sites would fix this. The second critique is that there seems to be a lot of long-term campers. Not seasonal, but long term. These people have their RVs or travel trailers essentially parked in prime spots and they weren't there, at least during our visit. I get it it. If they pay, they get to stay. Perhaps, though, the number of those campers should be limited to allow families on vacation more opportunities to take advantage of the campground. Overall, though, it's a good campground. We may be back in the future. Knowing what I know now, though, we'll use a different strategy when we arrive.
