It really has a "resort" feel for it. You would never know the freeway is tucked away right behind it. The rooms are nice, I would suggest a "courtyard" view of the pool. It's very shaded with lots of mature trees, and the double room we had was nice. Large, comfy beds, the windows open and it was clean. The property really has a community feel with people using the grill space, sitting outside in the grass together, eating dinner on the providing picnic tables, etc. I would def. stay here again if needed. The shower was hot (until my kids used all the hot water up), bathroom and bedding was clean, and we got a pretty good sleep. There's also a 24-hour diner where you can grab some food if you're coming in late or leaving early. Long story short budget motel charged my debit card for $972 when they were only supposed to take $320 for the accidental deposit and at first they said they could not give me my money back because they had no record of it.The lady was very rude when I tried explaining, I did swipe my card when I checked in. I told her to check the cameras, but she said she can't and only managers can check cameras but of course they were all on vacation at the same time. The only way I was able to get my money back was when I called a police officer. We could not wait for a manager to come back from their vacation, because we had to go back home to California to work. Once the police officer came, the lady working the front desk all of a sudden found a manager to come in. At first she said she could not find it and there's nothing she can do until the owner came back, an hour after the police officer left I got a call saying they "found" my debit card on file and it would take 5 business days to Receive.Until now I still have not received a call from the owner to apologize for the huge inconvenience and the error one of his employees did that caused my vacation to be ruined.I would not recommend staying here.

Maintenance entered room with only minors present without knocking. He was cussing and terrified…read moremy daughter and then kicked my dog who was try to protect her. They never fixed the drain and instead kicked us out without cause. We found out later that our unit was against fire safety codes. We contacted an attorney and the police who verified that we legally had a right to be there as we were renting it as apartment and were considering tenants. Maintenance tried to put a lock on our doorknob and later removed the door to our unit completely. We were not late with payments. The only thing we did was complain about maintenance.
