Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was great. We stayed in the hotel part and not the motel part…read more Bed was comfortable but we were unable to enjoy it. I had to call down to the front desk several times throughout the night due to the room next to us. There was so many people in that room it felt like they were all in our room. The walls are very thin. Screaming, yelling, and music all night long. When we checked out the lady that checked us out never asked about our stay. She only asked if we wanted a receipt. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as the multi-use ones they provide in the shower are very watered down.

Okay, for the little town of Burley, this Best Western really has it GOING ON!…read more The grounds are expansive. Really incredible amount of grass, trees, a VOLLEYBALL sand court, a ground shuffleboard court, and a beautiful slightly heated pool. There are so many beautiful birds singing from their birdhouse. It really has a "resort" feel for it. You would never know the freeway is tucked away right behind it. The rooms are nice, I would suggest a "courtyard" view of the pool. It's very shaded with lots of mature trees, and the double room we had was nice. Large, comfy beds, the windows open and it was clean. The property really has a community feel with people using the grill space, sitting outside in the grass together, eating dinner on the providing picnic tables, etc. I would def. stay here again if needed. Well done!

However, it has some modern amenities like AC, a tv, mini fridge, and microwave, and, although worn, was clean. Signs of aging show in the carpets, fixtures, and one of our towels, but the lady at the front desk was very nice and quick to respond to our requests for extra towels. The shower was hot (until my kids used all the hot water up), bathroom and bedding was clean, and we got a pretty good sleep. There's also a 24-hour diner where you can grab some food if you're coming in late or leaving early. For those with managed expectations, or if you're too cheap to pay $125 per night for a Motel 6 in town, this was a good stay for my family. Even better for those who hate stairs or noisy upstairs neighbors, every room is a ground floor unit. While not a destination hotel, it's affordable and provides all you really need.

This is a scary motel. Fellow minorities be warned, this motel has a real Sundown vibe to it. I…read moredidn't feel safe and felt actively unwanted. The guy I checked in with was EXTREMELY rude and mean. The parking lot was full of sleazy looking dudes just hanging out, drinking and who knows what else (probably tweaking from the looks of it). The room door was the quality of an internal bedroom door, like hollow core with no sturdiness. There was no deadbolt, only a lock like you may use on an internal door in your home, and a flimsy chain. The window didn't lock and had a tiny wooden dowel for a "security bar". I was so scared and intimidated, but I was exhausted from a nearly 12 hour day on the road. I texted my family where I was at, prayed for my safety and slept very poorly because of the unwelcoming vibes and lack of a secure door. I couldn't get out of this place fast enough!

Long story short budget motel charged my debit card for $972 when they were only supposed to take $320 for the accidental deposit and at first they said they could not give me my money back because they had no record of it.The lady was very rude when I tried explaining, I did swipe my card when I checked in. I told her to check the cameras, but she said she can't and only managers can check cameras but of course they were all on vacation at the same time. The only way I was able to get my money back was when I called a police officer. We could not wait for a manager to come back from their vacation, because we had to go back home to California to work. Once the police officer came, the lady working the front desk all of a sudden found a manager to come in. At first she said she could not find it and there's nothing she can do until the owner came back, an hour after the police officer left I got a call saying they "found" my debit card on file and it would take 5 business days to Receive.Until now I still have not received a call from the owner to apologize for the huge inconvenience and the error one of his employees did that caused my vacation to be ruined.I would not recommend staying here.
