However, it has some modern amenities like AC, a tv, mini fridge, and microwave, and, although worn, was clean. Signs of aging show in the carpets, fixtures, and one of our towels, but the lady at the front desk was very nice and quick to respond to our requests for extra towels. The shower was hot (until my kids used all the hot water up), bathroom and bedding was clean, and we got a pretty good sleep. There's also a 24-hour diner where you can grab some food if you're coming in late or leaving early. For those with managed expectations, or if you're too cheap to pay $125 per night for a Motel 6 in town, this was a good stay for my family. Even better for those who hate stairs or noisy upstairs neighbors, every room is a ground floor unit. While not a destination hotel, it's affordable and provides all you really need.
