Chris and his crew completed the work from the interior of the house in a single day, and I was exceedingly pleased with the results. Chris was just as informative and helpful and courteous and friendly as was Dave. My second project, completed last week, was for insulating the entire house with blown-in cellulose from the exterior of the house. As the exterior sidings are aluminum rather than vinyl, this was more difficult and more time-consuming, as aluminum does not bend as easily. In fact, another company informed they do not work on houses with aluminum siding as the risk of damage is too great. But Bennett and his crew were such efficient and hard workers that they completed the job in two days with no damage to the siding. Same as for Dave and Chris, Bennett's information and advice were invaluable.

She is very familiar with products as well as installation techniques, and various energy program requirements. The principal installer (Josh) was thorough and efficient. He coordinated his team's work with another contractor I had onsite so as to allow both teams to work simultaneously. The quote they provided us was 3 times higher than either of our other 2 quotes. We had an energy audit done by Eversource and I mentioned we had this crazy quote of over $20k to insulate our attic. The tech asked right away if it was Dr. Energy Saver. He said their reputation is high pressure sales way overpriced compared to other contractors. They very well may do high quality work but do yourself a favor and do some comparison shopping before you make a final decision. Needless to say, we did not use them to insulate our attic.

Claimed to be an approved energize CT contractor and was going to handle reimbursement from energize CT fund from start to finish, to include extend my rebate for reimbursement of $3,000+cost. Paid upfront and Nope, didn't happen. He's not approved as an energize CT contractor. Stopped return phone calls. Now I'm out $3,000. Insulation in exterior walls were not installed to R15 pack as claimed. House is cold. Walls I have insulated personally are warm to touch, walls they supposed filled to R15 are cold from exterior temperature. The exterior holes they make, they don't seal those properly to avoid cold and hot air from entering. I had to do that myself to stop air from entering walls. Do yourself a favor and find another company to do the work. I bought into his nice guy, great business, great reviews bull and now I'm paying the price for it. If I could give Best Home Performance no stars, I would.
