Mediocre pizza. You will wait HOURS for delivery and when you call they will lie to you that it's on the way and it's not. Ex: They will tell you 30 minutes and you will not receive it for 90 minutes. When you call they will say they're on their way and it's a lie. You'll call again and they'll repeat the story. They have a great variety of pizzas. They also gave a variety of tasty wing choices. Their sandwiches are filling. They're delivery personnel are fantastic. The food arrives hot and you get your correct order. You may have to wait to have your call received but that shows they're busy. I just order very early and that solves that problem! Update: We finally went to Gridiron Pizza. We were met with the friendliest staff. We felt right at home. They are very busy with phone orders for delivery. There were quite a few people inside there too! Young kids too. We ordered Wednesday's $.50 wings and beer. (They're getting their wine license soon!). We watched sports on their multiple TV's. So on Friday 2/19/21, at a around 4pm I left the Silver Lakes community in Helendale, while driving southbound on National Trails Hwy, I see this vehicle coming up behind me pretty quickly, I was doing about 70 mph when a van starts to ride my ass, this guy rides my ass for the next several miles until the road opens up to 2 lanes at D St., once he passed me, I was able to see the graphics on the vehicle and saw that it was a Grid Iron Pizza van. They have amazing pizza, wings. Basically everything is good. My only problem with this place is they don't hook it up on the toppings. Very light. To get a normal amount of toppings I suggest ordering extra of your topping(s). But to be honest I feel they shouldn't skimp us out on the toppings as they're already making a killing being the only pizza spot in helendale and their prices are already a lot.. I have always been satisfied with the food and the delivery. Until today I called and was put on hold 15 minutes. When they finally came back on they needed to check wait time for delivery. Put me on hold another 7 minutes. Came back on and wanted to put me on hold again for wait time. 22 minutes total on hold. Never did place my order. Unacceptable I could have driven there and back in that time. I understand they were busy. But at some point just tell the customer it's going to be a long wait. read more

We ordered pizza while at Helendale Community Park. After 2 hours, we still did not have any pizza. We called several times and the person on the phone claimed that the driver came to the park 2 times, which did not happen. They also claimed the driver called and texted us to say he was at the park, which also did not happen. When we requested refund, we were told no, despite a $70 order. So no pizza, and we were out $70, and the person on the phone yelled and said it was our fault. When we tried to call back the phone was not answered. Came here on an afternoon that is not busy ordered the grand slam and the pizza and chicken were very good I just don't like the fact that I ask for ranch at the register and then at the table I was told that I didn't and that they would have to charge me for it so I paid $2.50 for five ranches midway during our meal the people sitting to the right of us asked the same girl for some ranch for some more ranch and she said OK Connie went and bought the more ranch without charging them...... I think that's pretty unfair that's why I got a two star read more

They were running a special so we figured we would try them out as they are a new pizza place in town. They seem to be busy due to their lower prices, but I had to wait over an hour for my order and then they messed up one of the calzones even though we confirmed 3x no cheese, and then one person in the back kept saying there was no cheese, until I pulled it apart and had to show them. The onion rings and zuchinni sticks that I ordered were bland and almost certainly were frozen. Definitely don't recommend this place and won't be coming back. Poor service, poor attitudes (they started arguing because people were canceling their orders because of the service) and popr quality in food. read more

I have eaten here many times. I love the food, especially the wing flats with that southern dipping sauce. But my last 2 visits were not so great. One of the workers has a son named Howie ( I know this because she called out to him every couple of minutes). I know there are unforeseen circumstances that happen, but lady you need to make that kid mind. He needs some manners if he is staying for an entire shift around everybody. Went here yesterday just to get out of the house. Had a buddy and his 4 sons come along. Knowing there isn't any inside sitting, we got it to go and sat at the back patio overlooking the lake. The teenage kids started fishing off the dock as we had a beer and waited on the food. Yes, we sat 6 feet apart... But the young man working the register was just a solid guy. Friendly, and let us know the status of our food as we waited. I got the turkey sandwich and wings while the rest of the crowd got a little bit of everything. I was impressed with the sandwich and as I tried a bite of the other's food, I liked everything.. Very solid and relatively inexpensive. You can't beat the view overlooking the lake. Wish it wasn't so windy, but oh well. After a couple of beers and a great lunch went back into my quarantine house. Thanks for the break Gridiron. read more
