Wow, I was amazed at how good the service was at this place. We were seated immediately and the waitress that served us was very friendly and very attentive. The restaurant had a very relaxed feeling to it and everyone there seemed to be having a nice time. It was not very busy and just the mood of the place was very laid back. The food was pretty good as well. We ordered your regular breakfast staples and it was pretty good. Serving size was good too. I wouldn't say it was generous, but it was enough. Tried this place today for the first time being within our community. The atmosphere was pleasant especially sitting among a bunch of golfers. The place was very clean and the seating was very comfortable. I tried the chicken salad and it was pretty good just a little heavy on the cheesy side but good. The waitress was attentive and nice. So overall we will for sure be coming back on a regular basis. read more

Completely ruined Thanksgiving. The service was excellent. The facility was great; did not notice any echo's, overall ambience was very good. Dinner was serve by buffet. A rather poor selection and poor quality. They charged $30 per person, a great price. I would have paid more for something I would have liked. I have only been living in this area for a little over a year. In that time I have really tried to like this place, having eaten 3 previous times. All poor. Today, I had the pleasure of encountering Jillian as our server, it was refreshing to see somebody who was genuine and personable as a server, it renewed my attitude toward the Clubhouse in the positive . A previous server, I won't name was so non friendly, appeared bias and non hospitable, so I got turned off and stop going. Today my daughter came to town off break as a teacher for the holidays and suggested the Clubhouse. We appreciate Jillian and I hope she stays for a long time. What's happening to the Silver Lakes Restaurant? It's a beautiful place and I can remember years back how good the food was and how busy they were. Obvious now why people aren't going. They are closed the majority of restaurant service and the food sucks! We were there Father's Day with only 2 tables in the dining room being served. And there was a short undesirable tasteless menu! 20 minutes and got a basket of bread. no utensils to spread the butter tho. no drink requests no water. i've already memorized the menu. hopefully redemption will be coming. for now...zero stars. 40 minutes. got my own drinks from the bar. no one has been back to the table since the bread drop. maybe the servers here haven't been made aware that their tips depend on the service. no one has earned a penny so far. Not all bad. Nice people and the bartender makes a great mai tai. I had to ask for someone to come to the table (we're getting hungry now). Apologizing of course, and doing their best to make it right. First time here. I'll give them another chance sometime before a final judgement. At least I got a knife to butter the bread. Adding one star to get things started. Got our appetizers (calamari and baby mushrooms). Delicious. Adding another star for the food. Friday night...fish fry and karaoke. 9 of us decided to all meet at Silver lakes Restaurant for some dining and dancing. Everyone raved about their steaks, including myself. Cooked to perfection and very tender. The dancing, live band and drinks were also very good. All the people at Silver lake are very warm and welcoming. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone for a nice evening out! I really want to like this place since it's one of very few restaurants nearby. While the service is good, the food is bland and unimaginative.I know that there are a lot of older people in Silverlakes who like bland food, but there are also plenty of younger people and older people who want flavorful food. I see that they used to have a prime rib night and served BBQ too. I would kill for a prime rib night! read more

The remodel job is horrible. Too noisy, no acoustics at all. Can't carry on a conversation. Been there twice and have headache by the time we leave. Food is inconsistent. Had a wonderful meal the first time and the second time I ordered the same thing and it didn't taste nearly as good and platting was messy and not the same. Preferred the quiet before the renovation. This is the same as the inn at silver lakes. Karaoke night on Friday; live bands on Saturday Drink prices are pretty good considering how stiff the bartenders pour them. The lobster bisque is fabulous; the buffalo wings are good, too. The restaurant is separate from the bar area. And it can get busy at times on Friday and Saturday. This restaurant is amazing! We were seated right away at a window table overlooking the water. Only complaint was that our waitress was on her 3rd day on the job and lacked good timing for an excellent meal. We ordered an appetizer and drinks first, then our dinners when the drinks arrived, but my salad came before our appetizer. Before I was half way through my salad, the appetizer came, with both our dinners right on its heels. The plates were beautiful, the menu had a nice variety and the chef obviously took pride in both excellent food and presentation. Great food and atmosphere at great prices. Sunday brunch is about ten bucks all you can eat and the quality of food is good! I have never had one bad meal here. Their burgers are one of the best, their cobb salad is delicious, huge, and loaded with generous toppings, the $3 clam chowder on Friday nights is so tasty I always buy a couple extra to take home, my fav appetizer is the mushrooms drowning in super yummy sauce and garlic bread....I can go on and on.
