Now, I'm unlucky enough to require service and recall repairs here. They told me the service would take "a couple of hours" when I dropped my car off at 9am. At 1pm I called and was told it would be done soon, 2:30pm I was told, "we forgot to work on your car but we just put it on the lift". All of this after I told them I had a hard deadline of 2:45 for pick up so I could get my kids from school. This week I made the drive to Clovis Kia for service instead. They told me one of the issues kia Visalia identified is covered under warranty(of course they didn't bother to tell me that)... Do yourself and favor and make the drive. It's worth it!

The actual dealership is no longer active ( but Google maps shows an older photo so they "look" legit from the web). This is a bunch of guys walking around luxury car dealerships in Visalia, CA and taking photos, then selling the pictured vehicles using the closed dealer's name. See the pictures of the scammers in the reflection of the cars. The FBI, and other national investigative agencies are working on this and have been notified.

I told him that once the part arrived, I would bring it to him. He said, "Bring it on Thursday. I'm here until 5:30." I called Mr. Lopez on Weds letting him know that I had received the part and Mr. Lopez proceeded to make excuses saying that I didn't set an appt and he has other customers that set appts to take care of, etc, so he couldn't help me. As the conversation went on, Mr. Lopez waivered on whether he would repair my car or not. He then asked if he had quoted me a price; I said yes and I made notes of our conversation. He said, "Oh. Ok." This made me think that he wanted to up the price for the repair. I was confused and I mentioned to him that he had done this same thing to me a few months ago. A few months before, I showed up at his shop to ask him if he knew how to complete a repair on my car. I showed him what was wrong and the next day when I was supposed to drop my car off, he said, "I'm not going to work on your car" and hung up on me. I was confused, but it's hard to find someone that works on foreign vehicles with reasonable pricing. So Mr. Lopez didn't have a reason to not do the work other than, "It's his shop and he didn't want to get in trouble because I said that he has done this to me before." Mr. Lopez continued his rant as I listened to his reasoning which made absolutely no sense, so I told him that I no longer felt comfortable and didn't want him to work on my vehicle. I was in disbelief that I was actually talking to the owner of this shop. Mr. Lopez needs business and customer service training, along with discrimination training. Mr. Lopez, you wouldn't have to worry about "getting in trouble" if you do things the right way. I will never make the mistake to call your shop again.

It's a really long story so long story short I ended up having to pay another mechanic to fix what…read morethis place did to my car... I took it in for a clutch replacement and front coil overs install that's it nothing else because my car is in very good condition I stay ahead of any and all maintenance for it and immediately fix any issues. To top it off I had all parts already inside the car so parts didn't need to be ordered or he didn't have to wait for parts... I was told it'll be 2 days... I got it back 8 days later... I take it for 2 jobs I get it back with it needing 6 things fixed.... I was so mind blown at the shear audacity of the job done horribly wrong that I was not about to take it back after the way I got my car back the first time! It was over heating due to both thermostat housing bolts missing, no reverse lights due to trans harness broken and not replaced but only used butt connectors and spade connectors to make the connection with the trans side harness, trans clutch bleeder valve was left open, trans breather hose port was broken and covered with a red silicon cap, the reverse selector on my shifter was completely pulled out and shoved down inside the shifter boot, my coil over dampener adjustment screws were missing.... So not only did I pay this shop over $1k I had to pay another shop to fix the rest of the stuff that was ruined when they worked on my car.... So in total I was out over $1700.... ‍ worst part is I was never told about any of these issues caused by them.... That's so unprofessional. I know why it took so long to get it back because they were hiding the issues they created and didn't want to pay for them.... Not good business practice guys! Shame on you guys! Be honest you'll get return customers willing to pay good money for honesty!
