I met with Angelo who explained exactly what was wrong & that my car would have to stay at the shop as they had to order the parts necessary for the repair. A few months ago I had a little fender bender and as it was so small I didn't even go through my insurance. I took my BMW to another body shop who gave me a quote of nearly $3,000 thinking that my insurance was going to pay for it and I would not care. So next I went to Griffin Auto Care. They were very good, gave me an estimate of $400 and took my car in within days. In fact they even offered to fix a little scratch I had in another part of the car for free. The car was done one day after promised but that was no big deal. When I got home I noticed they had not fixed the other scratch I took it back and they honored their promise and fixed it right away. Everybody was courteous and easy to deal with. Definitely recommend them. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of one day late and forgetting the small scratch, but I was quite happy with them. read more

Let me preface this review by saying I get anxious going into auto repair centers. The window on my FIAT 500 would not budge. I had no one around to assist me with a ride. I contacted Arrigo where I purchased the car and they were busy (10 AM). Griffin's is within walking distance of my home and office. They told me to drop by. I go there at 11. They drove to get the parts and had my car finished by 1:00! I left there to do some business and when I got back to the office at 2:30, Arrigo service finally called back. I brought my 72 Ford Bronco to Griffin Auto to have the transmission, transfer case, and, door alignment and guts replaced as well as, the top half of motor redone. I spent about 7k. After 10 months I had the truck delivered to me and as it was coming off the flatbed, transmission fluid was pouring out of the front bell housing. I sent it back and contact the owner. The manager was a total thief and liar. The manager, who no longer works there, constantly fed me bs and i asked the owner to fix the situation. I was confident that he would but, he did not. I moved to Los Angeles recently and Griffin Auto worked on the truck to "fix" it as the owner wanted to restore my faith....... I had test drove it a few months ago and talked with the owner and expressed a few things like, the door won't open because the mechanisms are broken. This was one of the things I originally requested they fix. Some other things, I pointed out to him he said he would correct. The truck was just delivered today and after driving 4 blocks the transmission began leaking like crazy. The door on the drivers side cannot open because they didn't fix the door mechanism.....the alignment of the door is a mess as well..... What a waste of time and money and I was totally ripped off. So much for quality work and taking care of your customer. I think this place used old crappy parts for the transmission and god knows what else. I saw a bunch of receipts, but I just don't trust this place and the work obviously isn't professional. I should sue but, I don't have the energy after this marathon disaster. Aside from my 5am stressful disaster of hearing the tension pulley fall off, (I had fun researching for a bit trying to figure out what it was-I know nothing about auto repair mind you) they were beyond quick, compassionate and professional! Thieves. I dropped my truck off at Griffin's to get the right rear quarter panel fixed and painted. Minor damage caused from a rear ending, no big deal. I stupidly left my Dell laptop and iPod Classic in the truck. It took 7 weeks to fix damage the size of a textbook. When I got the truck back, my laptop and iPod were missing. I asked to have this issue remedied, but was told management couldn't do anything about it, and was called a "iron liar" and "high profiling, strofiling, limousine riding clown." They're thieves and I'm filing suit. Do not recommend, STAY FAR AWAY. They will take forever to repair your car, and you'll reiceve it with any and all belongings gone. This is one of the worst car mechanics I've had to deal with in my life. I dropped off my car and the salesman told me if it's something simple, we may not even charge you for diagnostics. At most, you're looking at around $109. I left my car over night; the next morning he calls and says the diagnostics have been especially difficult and now we have to start running the clock on the diagnostics, we've had to pull the whole engine apart and this will be complex. At this point I was freaking out about a major problem with the engine. Later, he calls and says oh it was the spark plugs.. To change spark plugs they insisted on a $477 bill, and at this point I was already gonna be charged more than $150 for these 'very complex' spark plug diagnostics so I had to do it. When I indicated how ridiculous this was, the salesmsn said give me a minute let me see what we can do. He left then came back with the manager who started insulting me and yelling at me aggressively and highly inappropriately in the middle of the place. I would never go back there and I truly hope they can learn proper etiquette in dealing with clients. read more

I went in for an oil change and inspected my vehicle afterwards to find my oil filter wasn't changed. So I pulled the oil checker and found my oil too was not changed!!! Horrible service! read more
