He even agreed to sing lead on several songs the last session he attended. My son has taken guitar lessons for a couple of years but it was like pulling hair to get him to practice, until we put him in RBU. Mike the owner is great with the kids and places them with other students who are at their level. The culmination of the session is a performance which includes all of the bands with their parents and friends attending. You will be happily surprised to see your child's inner rocker shine through.

They have multiple pool tables and video games in the back room,along with an entirely separate bar back there. They have a big screen projector screen and many small TVs along the bar to accommodate anyone wanting to watch any live sporting event. The Happy Hour here is pretty solid as well,$5 drinks were available. I heard the food here is pretty decent but we weren't here for that-maybe next time. My favorite part of this bar though easily was the bartender-She was such a breath of fresh air,so much personality and her hockey knowledge was amazing-she really made my visit to this bar quite enjoyable. Because of that, even though I've lived nearby for more than 20 years, I never made it out to a show. I finally made an exception to see the legendary Herbie Hancock at Jackson Hall, the larger venue that seats about 1,800 people. Even from the upper section, the sound was phenomenal. The acoustics are honestly some of the best I've experienced. The one downside to sitting up there is the seating layout: the rows are tight, and unlike other sections, there are no aisles. If someone in the middle needs to step out, the entire row--around 20 people on each side--has to shuffle to make room. Not ideal, especially for long shows without an intermission. Parking is close, but even on a Sunday (when parking is usually free), the lot across from the venue charged $19. Drinks are allowed inside only if they have lids, and there are no cupholders at the seats. Minor things, but they add up. Jackson Hall is a beautiful venue, and it definitely carries a "posh" or "elite" reputation that seems fairly accurate--it feels geared toward a more academic crowd. I probably won't return soon based on the current lineup, but seeing Herbie Hancock there was absolutely worth it.

After the performance, they were nowhere to be found. An hour before this, I went back, and it was in the lost and found! Before looking, the lady asked me about the sizes and colors. I appreciate that, because she wanted to make sure that I was the true owner of the clothing articles. I'm lame for doing this review, but I'm so happy I got the stuff back!!! Also, someone mentioned that lighting was bad. I've gone to several dress rehearsals and the staff patiently work with us to make sure we performers get what we prefer :) I'm going to miss performing at DDR at Freeborn Hall :(

For shows like DDR, I like the seating on the main floor, and the seating on the side. For dance rehearsals, w00t for accommodating Freeborn staff! Minor grip-age, if you will: why is the dance room at the ARC technically bigger than Freeborn's stage?? Yeah, makes it's a tad bit difficult/ANNOYING that that is the case. I told him I was already handling it and redirecting my son, but as he walked away he started cursing under his breath, using foul language that was clearly audible right next to my child. There is no excuse for swearing like that in front of a three‑year‑old, especially when the unsafe cord was left out in the open by the restaurant in the first place. Whether or not my son is autistic, families should never be subjected to hostility and foul language from the owner of a restaurant. If you offer outdoor seating and leave cords and other hazards accessible, you should expect children to be curious and respond with basic courtesy, not anger. The food itself was mediocre, and after that interaction it honestly didn't matter. This was supposed to be a special birthday outing, and his attitude and language completely ruined it.
