Generally just an uncomfortable feeling in the office on arrival and i could see there was clearly tension within the staff. I'm not someone who generally leaves reviews but when it is a dental office and I am getting work on my sons teeth I definitely don't want it to be unprofessional which it clearly was. The work done was alright but I would just recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

Wish I could leave zero stars! The staff is not friendly. They don't not have convient hours for parents and students. Dr. Griffin does not explain to parents what the plan is. Always seems rushed and just out to make money. We have pulled our children and will find a new orthodontist that actually cares about their patients. read more

DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE UNTIL THEY FINISH THE JOB!!! I received treatment to straighten my teeth with Invisalign and towards the end my teenage daughter died in an accident so I missed appointments and didn't call for a few months. My teeth were fine and where they should have been even though I missed treatment I was still using the retainers but when I called to get back on track with it and offered to pay if anything extra was needed the woman Courtney just simply hung up on me and so I went in and explained my child died and I couldn't make my appointment and Dr Griffin said oh well NOT MY PROBLEM. Knowing this ahead of time I would've never sent my other daughter here but again I had already paid. NEVER got the family discount they offered and they removed so many teeth on my daughter her jawline isn't the same other orthodontist said he removed too many teeth from her not to mention all I needed were my last retainers that were included with the 7000 dollars I gave him that his office never made good on. I probably should've called a lawyer but after losing a child I was tired and didn't have the energy due to the depression I fell into. Anyway there's too many other good orthodontist out there that probably would have made me pay a fee and then finished due to the nature of the situation try Tim Poser in Wauwatosa is good and Bubon orthodontist are everywhere with better fees not to mention smile direct club which in my opinion is the best if you don't need teeth removed. Im not originally from the area and had braces years ago and had a built in metal retainer behind a few of my top teeth. Over a series of months, recently one side came unglued and started cutting into the side of my tongue while chewing. I called to set up an appointment and Ashley, who answered the phone and took my appointment, was very upbeat and sweet. When I arrived to the office Ashley was working, and I have to say she was just as upbeat and sweet in person as she was over the phone. She had helped me filling out the paperwork (as I dont have dental insurance). Dr. Griffen himself, was amazing. He really knew his work, and regluded my retainer. The cost was very inexpensive for not having any insurance, and the work was done very well. Ashley again assured me that if there were any problems at all within the next few days to call them and let them know and they would get me in to fix the problem. I highly recommend this place for all your orthodontic needs!! Staff is very friendly, convenient location, as well as beautiful office inside. The place is clean and very inviting! Dr. Griffin is a great orthodontist. Unfortunately, the woman with the arm length tattoo who works the front desk is not very customer service oriented. I would give Dr griffin five stars and his rude, arrogant and condescending receptionist zero stars. They often don't answer the phone even when they are open and don't return your calls when you leave message. read more

Dr. Griffin and his staff are amazing! Im an adult getting started with braces and after meeting with numerous other orthodontist, Dr. Griffin was the winner! They made this process much easier than expected! The office is amazing and the personal care they provide has exceeded my expectations! We were originally located on the corner of HWY 100 and Lincoln Avenue. To better serve our growing practice, we moved in 2006 to a new, larger office located 4 blocks west of HWY 100. In 2018, we opened up our second location in Oak Creek, WI!

Between my wisdom teeth growing in fully, and my lack of retainer-wearing as a teenager, everything in my mouth began to crowd. I really wasn't up for the idea of having a mouth full of metal as an adult, so I've opted for Invisalign! All the staff, including Dr. Race himself, are all incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable with making my decision. They've answered all my questions thus far, and made it clear they'll available anytime if I run into problems. My first appointment was a consult helping me have a fully understanding of what I needed, the process, and the cost. I returned for scans and X-rays they needed to create my clear trays. Then finally, a few months later, my Invisalign was ready! I went in yesterday to get them all fitted and fastened. Let me tell ya, it's a weird feeling and I already know it'll be a little bit of burden for a few months, but it'll certainly be worth in. They were able to show to a 3D rendering of how my jaw and teeth will move over time, and I cannot wait for the end result. Oh and as for their new safety precautions (re: covid), I would give them six stars. You can tell how serious they take the health of their patients and their employees. There's a clear cut procedure on when folks enter, with temps taken, reduced touching of anything, masks, hand sanitizers, and beyond. I'll report back when the process is complete!

Significant to me is that you can go back in the exam room with your child. There are some pediatric dentists who make it a rule that parents must stay in the waiting room. She decided to inject all three of the cysts with cortisone, and when I politely asked her what other treatment modalities were available on the off-chance the cortisone didn't work, she snapped, "The cortisone always works!" Well, it didn't work; and as if that weren't enough, she left a small scar over the epidermoid/keratinous cyst midway up the front of my forehead because she ruptured a blood vessel during injection and did a very poor job suturing shut the resulting aperature. (I then made an appointment with the plastic surgeon who operates out of the same building she does, Dr. Dr. Alex Colque, who was able to remove the cysts with minimal scarring.)

I was amazed! Our daughter needed to get braces and her friend told us about Griffin ortho. I am so happy we were told about this, my daughter's friend's mom praised the clinic she said it was like a party every time you go. Our original plan was to go to the same orthodontist that our son went to. I am so happy we changed our mind. Dr. Griffin called the night before her appointment to she if she had any questions and to ease her mind, I was so impressed by this doctors very rarely do that anymore. Next day at the appointment we were treated like royalty. The girls at the front desk were awesome, generous, funny and giving. After we did all the paperwork, which was fast easy and painlessly. Next the brace were picked out and then they put them on. They were great the whole time, joking around, laughing and just having fun. Before we knew it was done, braces on and I had a happy girl! If you are looking for a positive dental experience, I would highly recommend Griffin Orthodontics in West Allis. I've needed braces for years but I put it off. I dreaded the whole idea. Through a course of events I ended up having to get braces in order to complete some other dental work. Dr. Griffin was recommended to me by another dentist.
