Hands down, the best apartment complex in cherry creek! The staff is so kind and helpful, making it a point to remember your name and assist with any request in a timely fashion. The amenities are wonderful between the rooftop with a stunning view and ample seating, to the pool and hot tub that are clean and well taken care of. The apartments themselves are quiet, spacious, and clean with maintenance on call 24/7 to assist as needed. Overall my experience is a positive one. It is important for both the management and the tenants to communicate openly and directly. Expectations should be made clear as well. It is safe, modern, clean, with many amenities. I recommend that anyone considering leasing should read their contract thoroughly AND be aware of the resident portal and utilize it frequently. There is a requirement in the lease to provide 60-days written notice. However, I have learned that renewals are only given a couple weeks before the 60 day renewal in terms of what rent increases will be. Most of us are aware this is not sufficient notice to find another rental. There is high demand on rentals with the influx of people who move to Colorado. This is also hypocritical. 60 days should also be given to tenants to make a decision before their 60 days of notice are to be given to vacant. I have realized that Colorado (all these years) is pro-landlord. It should be a 50-50 and tenants do have rights. Also, you will receive email reminders from the portal/management when you provide your email address. Please be aware that you are in a hi-rise. This means that though there are sound barriers, dropping furniture or slamming things can be heard by neighbors. There are quiet hours that should be respected. This also goes for pets (dogs) who bark very early or late. Owners are responsible for their pets. Be involved, get to know your neighbors, that is what makes a community. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! The walls are paper thin, and the leasing manager (Wes) will do absolutely nothing besides send generic, canned emails in response to noise complaints. I work remotely and can barely work from my apartment due to the noise and get woken up almost every morning from excessive noise. I've sent at least 10 formal noise complaints (with several recordings of the noise) to the office with no help whatsoever. Wes's responses include "I've had noisy neighbors before and I've just dealt with it" and "noise is subjective, we need a third party to verify it live." His inability to generate competent and effective solutions is infuriating. I've talked to several others in the building who have experienced excessive noise so it's not just my upstairs neighbors. The apartments are poorly made, and they do not ensure units are in good shape before move-in. I had a giant list of maintenance issues on the first day of my lease including a broken washer, balcony door not opening, fixtures falling apart, and broken key fob (was locked out of the building afterhours because of this). There are quite a few hidden monthly fees that you can't opt out of including valet trash (this means there are bags of trash sitting in the hallway at all times which is disgusting) and Fetch (package delivery that causes a delay in receiving your packages and you have to be home to receive large items). The gym is tiny and barely useable - there are never cleaning wipes so all the equipment is dirty and there is only 1 mat for the entire gym. The only positive is the location, but it's definitely not worth living in an expensive building where the staff doesn't care about its tenants. By far the best apartment building in Cherry Creek. Renewing my lease was an easy decision for me. The staff has always been helpful, friendly, and make the building feel like home. It's a wonderful community that's easy to make new friends, especially in the summer by the pool or on the roof. Further to my earlier review and since there is no way to reply to the moronic response from management, I need to clarify to them by way of another review: Their response, as is the case with EVERY ONE OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEW RESPONSES, is to gloss over all enumerated issues and address absolutely not one of them specifically. They make comments such as, "We did (eventually) repair the leak upstairs". Yes. They did, but for nearly 4 weeks the bathroom was virtually unusable and there wasn't so much as one single DOLLAR in rent rebate, compensation, or even an apology. Again what they did offer was the use of a bathroom in an entirely different apartment. Oh, they did pay the electric bill for one month so that fans could run 24/7 and keep everyone awake all night "We did move your son to a new apartment". Yes--LATE, not having notified him that the new apartment would not be ready until the day of the actual move, even though Wes Wilkerson and Hassan Shah were at work during the entire day preceding the expected move, handing the bad news delivery over to Tom, the delightful building handyman commonly dumped with their dirty work, ON THE MORNING OF THE MOVE, incurring costs from the moving company who had to return a day later. Additionally, as I have stated numerous times before, they have charged in fees EVERY DIME that they could for his move to a larger, more expensive apartment; a fee to move out, even though he Left the apartment, as evidenced by photographs, in PERFECT condition and had spent nearly a month with an unusable bathroom, all to be entitled to pay a $500 fee to move INTO an apartment where he was allowed to pay higher rent. My latest addition was the inability to have packages delivered to your own building, requiring the use of a third party service FOR ANOTHERRRRR FEEEE!!! And then you find out that businesses will not deliver to the third-party because it is not your primary address. Not a single one of the "management "responses" to a single negative review, addresses a single issue that they have the opportunity to respond to. They gloss over and try to make it look like they are attending to concerns, which they are not. Not only on my review, but where are the answers to the specific questions/complaints asked/ recorded by so many miserable tenants? You might be wondering why a choice was made to stay in the building... Just try to get out of your lease if you thought they were making your life miserable before. I've lived here for a week now and I am very happy here so far. Hassan and Stephanie have been amazing in helping my move in experience be seamless. They are always friendly and welcoming when we cross paths. The maintenance staff is also very friendly and responds quickly when a request has been submitted. One thing I love the most is the free membership residents get to the Zone Athletic Club next door. I'd much rather have access to a legitimate gym as opposed to the small gyms most of the buildings in the area have. I've seen complaints about the Fetch service in other reviews but it's worked rather efficiently for me. If you're looking for a new apartment I'd highly recommend taking a tour of this building. read more

Do not live here!! I'm going to write a review every single day until this this place quits forcing us to use Fetch. FYI- they do not let packages be delivered to our residence. It must got to a separate address and then you schedule delivery from there. Yet again, lost another package. Another two packages were set to be delivered between 4-6pm. The app said out for delivery. Now, 10 mins till 6pm, the app says they were never scheduled. This place does not care about residents AT ALL! read more

My wife and I moved in to our apartment on the 5th floor about 3 weeks ago and we wanted to wait till we experienced the place fully before we wrote a review. We researched a lot of places before making this decision and found Griffis Cherry Creek North to be an unbeatable blend of value and location. We were absolutely right! We love the amenities and have taken advantage of the beautiful and well maintained hot tub on 5 or 6 occasions so far and have even swam in the pool 5 or 6 times right through the 1st 3 weeks of November. They are both open year round and there is also a great community room / get together area right off of the pool deck. TV's a large wet bar area with refrigerator, pool table and shuffleboard. We are having a few friends over next weekend to watch the Broncos game and have a get together in a beautiful spot! There are also 4 or 5 grills around the pool deck. There are also 3 or 4 more grills up on the beautiful rooftop deck. Complete with a Covered TV / couch area that is very comfortable. None of that would matter if we didn't like the apartment. Fortunately, we LOVE our apartment. It is exactly what we were hoping for while we are waiting on our house to be built. 1 bedroom and just right for us. We have our apartment through Hello Landing which provides short term, furnished leases. Our bed and furniture are fantastic and comfortable and we love our 2 large screen TV's and the fact that Internet is already set up and works great. Most of the apartments here are not furnished. This is just what worked best for us. If you are considering this location with Hello Landing, you can use our referral code mike_bgo to get $250 -$1000 off of your 1st month rent. Either way, the apartments are great. The cleaning crew is ALWAYS cleaning. They keep the place spotless, and management has been extremely responsive and friendly. Stephanie was very welcoming and helpful when we 1st moved in and all interactions have been fantastic, and everyone we have met who lives here has been respectful and friendly. Very safe vibe! We have already walked to 10 restaurants and spent 2 days walking around Cherry Creek Mall. The workout deal that they have through Zone fitness next door has also been fantastic! $85 value at no charge and you can even walk there without going outside. Underground covered parking and guest parking has also been great, especially with winter coming! read more

I moved into the Griffis in September of 2022 and have absolutely LOVED my experience here thus far. The apartment is beautiful and the finishes in each of the homes are great. The amenities are now complete and make the building that much more of an amazing place to live. I love the gym, pool and rooftop. Additionally, the location is spectacular. We are walking distance from Cherry Creek North and the mall (both of which have great shopping and food), walking distance from the cherry creek trail and from the Gates so that we can participate in outdoor activities daily. Terrible experience. Not luxury at all. Very likely to experience gender discrimination. I lived there for 1.5+ years and in that time the number of issues were inexcusable - elevators constantly down, flooding in the basement, parking spots that don't fit the side of a small sedan car, renovations that went in far too long and were not remotely worth the cost, noise from other apartments, marijuana smells in the halls... the list goes on and on. The only good part was Tom and the in-apartment maintenance team. The worst part is when I reached out to Hassan and Wes, they both constantly responded with unhelpful and infuriating emails - "thanks for reaching out, we value you, we are doing the best we can, thanks for your patience" without actually changing anything for the better. What's worse is that I was told numerous times there was no change of a rent concession for any of the issues, that they "treat everyone the same" but then I heard from another tenant, a man, someone I know for a fact lived there because we knew each other from a shared co-working space, that he did get a rent concession. So now there's possible gender discrimination going on. The response? "We don't know who that person is, we treat everyone fairly" and I guarantee if this review is responded to that is exactly what they will state. I was a solid tenant and the fact that I was treated so poorly and gaslit was not ok. Do not recommend paying a pretty penny for this horrible experience, best to find somewhere else. read more

For any new residents trying to move in, run! The building is clean, and the housekeeping is outstanding. So on the first impression, you may believe it is worth being here. However, they do not have a gym. You can also hear all your neighbors from above, so that is something to consider. The front door doesn't work, and even though there is an option to let your guests in, you will still have to come downstairs to let them in. Front desk people have opened the door for my guests, and my guests felt uncomfortable because they got a bad attitude. Management is new and not knowledgeable, also arrogant and not responsive. For two months, I have been trying to transfer to another two-bedroom apartment with my boyfriend. And they have made it a living hell with constant wrong information and lies. They didn't know how to handle our move-in process, they didn't know how to manage our application process, and in the end, they charged us fees for my boyfriend moving in and other fees for me transferring. Only our application fees and transfer are totaling up to $1000. I worked with Stephanie, who is hugely unknowledgeable, Hassan, who will yell at you, and Wes, the manager, who is very arrogant and dismissive. There are so many better buildings around. Please don't waste your money because they will find a way to overcharge you and treat you terribly. read more
