Haven't been in a few years so thought we'd give them another try. There was a large party there when we walked in. We should have walked out. One waitress who was working the bar and restaurant and was clearly overworked. I get that she was busy, but she was very uncommunicative and we sat for at least 45 minutes with no food, not even an appetizer. I was honestly getting woozy and asked for something, she dropped off some crackers, saying your Food should be out soon. Still waited much too long! The potato skins were very dry, the fried shrimp was dry and the baked potato was so small and hardly anything Inside, my husband enjoyed his hot roast beef sandwich. The applesauce was good, but that wasn't made there. Average food at best and service was disappointing. That was our last time. read more

Came here on a whim on our way back home. It was delicious. We ate a buffalo chicken wrap, classic burger, and ribs and everyone was happy with their meal. The staff was also apologetic when my clumsy self spilled my water. They were very kind service was quick. Very family friendly as well. read more

Saturday 5pm we had dinner at Spunktown. We sat at the bar and chatted with Debbie, our server. This salad was excellent and salmon prepared perfectly rare, as I ordered it. They have an excellent dressing, jalapeño ranch which I usually get. My husband had buffalo shrimp. Service, food, and conversation was excellent! Don't go here. Period. There's not going to be much to this review - but I spent over $100 here pretty recently with my family and I won't be back. My order was wrong, my steak was pink and undercooked (it didn't taste like anything, obviously wasn't marinated). It's way overpriced for what you get and the service is slow as all hell. Seriously, avoid this place and go to a fast food restaurant, I'm sure the food will taste better. read more

If there was an option to give it no stars I would. I came in and they didn't seat us so we thought we had to seat ourselves so we did. As we sat down we got a dirty look from the waitress. She then comes over and asks if we wanted food. Which is kind of a stupid question. We then said yes and she runs to the kitchen and tells us we can only get fried food. So we asked what we could get. She then rolled her eyes grabbed menus and threw them on the table. And told us " I'm not gonna sit here and read it to you". I have never been treated so poorly in my life and I don't plan to come back. Not worth the time! 0/10. read more

We have been to this place many times over the years and had good experiences and sometimes not so good experiences, but we continued to go back, but it is now time to say goodbye. Last night's dining experience was the worst ever. We arrived before 5 PM and were able to place our order of two Lobster Tail dinners before many of the customers arrived for diner. It took a very long time for our dinners to be prepared, with the server stopping by several times telling us our dinners will be ready soon, while seeing the later arrivers were being served ahead of us. Finally our Lobster Tail dinners arrived. I found my Lobster Tails only lukewarm and my wife's actually cold. Our supposedly heated butter appeared to be olive oil with a dab of butter in it. Being totally disgusted with the outcome, we got up from our table and announced we have had enough and we are leaving, which we did, for the very last time I might add. Didn't blow our socks off but okay. The food was fine, not particularly great. My husband got chicken croquets which were just minced chicken baked in the oven. If there were a croquet officianado in the world it would be him. These were not breaded at all and were baked not fried so he was disappointed by that. My wings were on par with any other good wing I have had. Coconut shrimp were pretty good too; clearly homemade rather than from a bag which added a little something. We also started with the soft pretzel which was fairly enjoyable. Drinks from the bar were appropriately(+) poured rather than weak like you find at chains. The staff was very pleasant. We didn't have to wait for a table as a plus. If I could give a 3.5 I would. Will we go bad? Not deliberately but if passing by sure, why not. Best thing we had - the pretzel. read more

Or food took 1 hour and 10 minutes and three of the entrees my friend did not like. We where told since they ate them they could only remove 2 of the 3 entrees due to the fact they took 1 bite out of each one. There was no manager there so they even called the owner after I was not happy with the first response and the owner still did nothing. Then when we received our check they only removed 1 entree after all that! Horrible , horrible, horrible costumer service, the guest is always right. Throw in a microwave dinner, it will be an upgrade over the food here. read more

took my wife out for dinner and came upon this hole in the wall. the place is small but the prime rib was top shelf. It was made to my request. The wait staff was friendly and the other patrons seemed like regulars. The rest rooms were small and dingy. They did have a good selection of seasonal beers much to my surprise since it was so out of the way. I would recommend if your looking for a good local bar. read more
