Service is slow. Food is bad. It took 25 minutes to get food which was awful. For one, the homefries were potatoes with no color, mushy, and were so salty you couldn't eat them if you wanted to. The large table next to us got half their food and the 2nd half came out when the 1st was done eating. read more

I used to love eating here & haven't been there in a while. It's going to be a long time before I go back. I ordered a tuna wrap, and there was maybe a total of a tablespoon of tuna in both sides of the wrap. I literally ate just the wrap. The tuna tasted like the can it came in , all of this for a whopping $10. Don't know what's happened with all of these places lately but they want to charge more and give you so much less. That being said, even the simplest of meals takes entirely too long to come to the table. Portions are small, in most cases. Prices don't match the portions you receive. For instance, at breakfast, scrapple is almost wafer thin. Even cream chipped beef was so small, the beef was miniscule, and the cream barely covered the toast. So close to being a great place. Terrific blueberry pancakes. Bacon was done exactly the way I asked for it. This place gets very busy on the weekends. If they tell you it will be 15 minutes and, God forbid, it turns into 20 (because, it was an estimate, NOT a contract), and you get triggered easily, head out to somewhere else. If you want to slow down a bit and enjoy good food, this is the place. I'd give 5 stars if they offered real maple syrup for the pancakes. They can keep the stuff in the little cups for people who don't care and think it's all tastes the same (it is not the same and does not taste the same). This place has great food, fresh and tasty. I had the mini strawberry pie that I took a photo of because it was so pretty. It actually tasted better than it looked, if that's possible. It might be a seasonal item, so if you go just try whatever looks good and you won't be disappointed. On this particular trip my dad and I had the creamed chipped beef on toast, which is always a favorite, and took a club sandwich to go for my mom. There was plenty to go around and she shared it with my nephews who ate it up. The turkey was juicy and the portion size was good. In the past I have also had cinnamon buns which tasted homemade, and the bowl of fresh fruit for breakfast which was really big and all fresh, and it was berries and whatnot, not garbage filler fruit like some diners serve, like a bowl of unripe melons and whatnot. Definitely the atmosphere here deserves a mention, as it's a jukebox themed cafe, which is really fun to check out while you wait for your food. We recently moved to the area and heard this was the best breakfast joint in the neighborhood. We came here for their stars crabby benny, eggs Benedict, and kids waffle. We enjoyed our meals. They also had several homemade meals and desserts to take home in their refrigerated section. We brought home some Easter chocolate eggs and loved them! We will return! read more

Wife and I stop in probably once a month for years, looks like all kids in kitchen now, breakfast was terrible, we both had raw potatoes, egg benedict that was hard boiled, waitress did not care at all, $30.00 for breakfast that was non eatable. We went for breakfast on a Sunday at noon. Left at 1:30. Very busy but ok. We both ordered waffles with fruit topping. Very small amount of fruit and minuscule dollop of whipped cream. Bland and boring. Nothing special. There are daily specials posted on the door and different daily specials on a small sign on the wall. None of the specials are in the menu or on the table. No one reviewed any of the specials with us or we both would've ordered something else. All in all was rather pricey, long long long wait to get seated and to get our food. And in the end we were told hey don't put tips on the card. Unfortunately I did not have any cash with me so the waitress did not get a tip through no fault of her own. Won't go back again. This is quality fresh food served at reasonable prices. Family owned and run by a mother/daughter team who have delightful personalities and very high standards... The Jukebox definitely has RETRO feel including beautiful posters of Marilyn Monroe & James Dean and a functional vintage jukebox. The menu is BREAKFAST and LUNCH with unique dishes as "Veggie Bennie", which is an Eggs Benedict with FRESH sun-dried tomatoes, FRESH roasted garlic, and FRESH spinach served with sliced red potato home fries...taste explosion! A side order of Swedish pancakes works fine with this. A must with lunch is one of the many HOMEMADE soups...my favorite is the Tomato Bisque bursting with flavor. It's a small place and can get very crowded on weekends (there appears to be a church up on the hill above the restaurant, which may account for a sudden influx of customers around 10 am on a Sunday morning). Service is quick and friendly and they have a good variety on the menu. Last time we were in, they were featuring pumpkin cream cheese muffins which were very good. I don't believe this place takes credit cards, but there is an ATM on site, so make sure you have cash or a bank card to withdraw some. read more

We were traveling from Michigan and drove by this place and then were taken there by relatives. Excellent breakfast. Staff was friendly and informative and the menu had interesting twists on some old favorites. Our four breakfast orders were all excellent--fried corn muffins on the side were a nice addition. We went back our last day before heading home and again the breakfast was excellent--omelettes and homes fries. We will be back. My review starts out first of all to some of the previous customers with their reviews that start, I've eaten here several times and enjoyed it, but this one time and so forth and so on. Restaurants have struggled so much in the past year, that to save your one lousy review for everyone to read, and probably never shared a great experience, is pathetic. I have never been to the Jukebox and been ignored, or rushed or even had a bad meal. I have been eating there for several years, and actually went to school in Boyertown and love coming back to a wonderful little restaurant right in the heart of Boyertown. This is a great little place for brunch. It's small so there is usually a wait. It's worth it. They have the best baked potato soup I have ever had. Ever. During the fall they have pumpkin pancakes which are my favorite. I make sure to make extra trips out there during that time of year. read more
