I was incredibly disappointed upon picking it up to see that the engraving was visibly off center and plainly listing to the right. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the cashier, and she retrieved a gentleman who regaled me with such gems as, "I do this for a living," or, " this is a perfectly straight engraving," and, "I'm the owner," as if that were to somehow align the misaligned. There was no acknowledgment of wrongdoing or even a simple, "i'm sorry you're not satisfied." He simply argued. An attempt to prove his point with incredibly dilapidated six-inch plastic ruler made me realize that he in fact did not care about his customers, so I left. I won't be back, and my son's $100 birthday ($80 for the knife, $20 for the engraving) present will forever be off center. Hopefully this helps someone make an informed decision.
