During our visit, there was a few fresh produce products available for purchase such as nectarines, peaches, plums, zucchini, watermelon and corn. Packaged items such as honey and chips were also available. The Hot Sauce Festival was the main attraction of the day so there was a food truck on-site as well. Blistering hot pepper starts of several different varieties could also be purchased for those with green thumbs. Unfortunately, that isn't me. After sampling several fiery hot sauces and marinades it was refreshing to be able to order and consume an ice-cold craft beer from McMillin Farms brewery on-site. Red and white wine is available for those who do not care for beer. Beers were pricey at $8.75 each; however, keep in mind that you are supporting a small and local business. While that name is somewhat aspirational (for now, it IS the only hot sauce festival in the state, but using that name is still brash), it's a nice festival 2026 saw about 40 vendors. And the location lends itself well to the festival. That and events are what drive this place, so the farming is almost a secondary business.

My friend is a customer there. This was the opposite at this store. After being passed off to the manager by a sales associate, she asked us if "we were there to buy shoes". Is this store a front for something else? What did she think we were in there for? I felt like we had to apologize for walking into the store. We were made to feel as if we were bothering them. Perhaps the employees could be taught to act happy or glad that we walked in. Perhaps they could engage in friendly conversation with customers. Suggest something! This could and should start with the manager. Who knows, with a little different attitude by these store employees, we might have bought something in this store. I do not recommend this shoe store in Astoria.

I am about to write a review for Atomic Stardust Antiques and their Yelp entry comes up as…read morepermanently closed. I then Googled the business and it said the same thing. I hope it's not true but if it we came towards close to the very end before they closed for good. There was no indication that the place was heading towards closure at all. The store was filled with totally awesome mid century items. There were a ton of beautiful "atomic" looking lamps that you don't see just anywhere at all. The store was split in two which was slightly odd but we went to a different door and saw more great merchandise. There was even a modest vinyl record selection for sale with some really great albums. Upon entering I talked I believe with the owner or one of them and we had a very fun conversation talking about Italian Art Glass, specifically Murano Art Glass. I wrote these type of items in a registry at the door where it was requested along with my name in hopes of seeing it turn up here. This was a really great place and feel like the owner(s) have a really good eye for what they will stock which apparently comes from estate sales. So yes, I am surprised to see this place closed if it is so but at the same time I'm not as the placement of this kind of store I am not so sure the surrounding area of Lakewood would appreciate it or buy from here. It would have been a better fit in Seattle due to it's quirkiness which people in that city have a much deeper appreciation for. So sad to see they are gone because what they had going in here was great!

What you won't expect to find is a walk-in Wine Cellar and a walk-in Cigar humidor. How cool! This is a very unique retailer that also provides formal wear rentals. If James Bond needed a one-stop shop on the harbor for a Tux, fine cigars & wine, this is where he would shop :-)
