A really cool bar on the East Side of El Paso. Better than most standard bars, where it's just a bunch of folks cramped inside a small space. Gringo utilizes their plot of land really well. Not only do the have a large, traditional bar inside, with plenty of tables and arcade games and music and of course, a big old bar... but they have a fenced off outside area as well. Pretty large too... as it boasts some water features, slides (yes full on adult sized slides), the large novelty games, swings, a turtle racing area (that's not a metaphor), tables, picnic tables, giant chairs (cute for photos), a REALLY good food truck and (to me), the prime feature - a Dog Park. YUP, Gringo Theory has an actual, big sized fenced off Dog Park INSIDE their outdoor area. So naturally, the place is dog friendly. Now then, with such amazing outdoor features, you can imagine during fair weather, paydays and weekends, the place gets packed. But if you go on a sweater weather kinda 1 week before payday Wednesday night? The place is yours for the taking lol. Tons of TVs everywhere, playing what everyone in a bar setting wants to see: Sports. Inside and outside, whatever game is on, will be on. The food truck is a nice touch. Some bars do boast a kitchen, but what's really cool about this place, they have an actual food truck inside the outdoor area right next to the dog park. Burgers, footlong hotdogs, loaded fries and loaded nachos, and of course... TACOS! Al Pastor, Carne Asada, and even some legit Birria! There is a bar, with bartenders, both inside and outside. So no matter where you're roaming around at, you can grab a drink. The staff is friendly and I've never had an issue with any of them. Overall it's a pretty cool place. You can drink, play games, hangout with friends and family or have a date, catch the sports game, bring your dogs, eat dinner etc. Just keep in mind peek hours and days. Well, unless that's what you're after. ME? I'm a 65 degree outside Wednesday night 1 week before payday kinda guy. This huge place can accommodate 100s... but when I go, I'm ok with there being like 20 people there, each of us taking our own corner of the land lol. Y'all go check it out!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have 3 little fur balls and some of the dog parks in El Paso suck because of all the thorns that get stuck in their paws. But this place is AWESOME!! My fur babies love it here because they can run and play in the little dog park while I chill and have a drink and some tacos. Also, the server girls are so friendly they love all dogs who come visit. The food is super delicious also.. I recommend the shrimp tacos because they super flavorful. They also have adult outdoor games inside and outside if you choose to chill with some friends and have drinks. This place gets pretty busy on Saturday's but if you come during the week it shouldn't be too bad. They also have karaoke inside the bar in case anyone is a good singer. The only bad part is that they only have one dog park area for big and small dogs so your BIG dog has to be nice to the little guys that want to play also... but besides that .... I will most definitely be returning again with my lil fur balls in the future. Enjoy my pics:)

Awesome place to come and hangout with friends or on a date! The drinks are good and there's always a ton of nice people here! They hand a ton of outdoor yard games like bags, connect 4, and much more. Coolest part is they are dog friendly and even have a fenced area for you pet pal. The ambiance here is good, and they even have a shack that sells food, I ended up getting (4) street tacos for $8. And honestly they were terrific! They have arcade games inside too! So much to see and do here, definitely will be coming back!

The ambiance was so relaxing and so dog friendly and exactly what we were looking for when we wanted our dog to take a nice break after road-tripping for 6 hrs while we wanted to grab a bite for ourselves! The outdoor patio is so clean and beautifully designed! He loved the bone pool and had so much fun with another dog. They were the only 2! Service was great, they were so attentive as we were supervising our dog in the park area. Food not the best quality (too pricey, lacked flavor, not too fresh) but drinks were good and we're happy the baby had fun! Would definitely come back!

The dress code thing is really weird- why can't men wear hats backwards? Weird flex. Had a good experience otherwise. Nice dog area. Food truck is a plus. But the whole experience was a little ruined by some smug dude telling my company how to wear a hat. Why? It states it nowhere on the doors or website so the only way to find out is to be confronted by some sfaff member in a questionable manner. Just a bummer that is totally not necessary and is a serious buzz kill

Stopped by here when I went to El Paso! The drinks here are great and not expensive. The place is huge with so many games you can play. I enjoyed the glow in the dark pool. The only thing is that there are some games that don't work which kind of sucked. But everything else is great. Service was good. It's a great place to hang out with friends and family, or even take someone on a date. It's a great place where you can go to take really great photos. There's just so much you can do here, I'm glad that I got to stop by this place it was a great night well spent.

Dog park (this is only 1 side, the other side is a doggie playground).

Indoor & outdoor bar with HUGE patio, good sized dog park, and tons of outdoor and indoor games and a BANGING food truck. You could definitely lose track of time here. The bar service was quick & the servers were extremely pleasant and attentive- even all throughout the patio. I would definitely return. Great little spot here in EPTX.

What a great place this is if you are a dog lover! They have a dog park here for the 4 legs. The atmosphere is awesome, chill and laid back. There was a food truck here who offered food. Will definitely be coming back with my dog!

The service is good and bar/patio are great but the crowd is a little young and ghetto at times which kind of ruins the experience.

The small dog area isn't ridiculously small either i usually stick my dog in with the big boys in other parks because of the lack of space. He seemed to be content with the area & I will definitely bring him back. We were the only ones here at this time so hopefully during peak bark hour my dog & I will make some friends. With that being said the water fountain in the small dog area isnt much of a fountain its just a faucet that doesn't necessarily land in the reservoir. I forgot our travel water bottle but Sancho didnt mind getting splashed in the face much. Although i've seen better dog water fountains this isnt a deal breaker. Other reviews seemed to mention an ungodly amount of feces leftover by owners & i guess we got lucky because the area was really clean this afternoon.

Man trying to run with your pup in the large dog area was a hard feat...so I switch over and took my dogs to the small dog area (4 are considered small and the last one is actually a big boy!) but left my big boy in the proper area. I could actually run over there, due to not many mounds of poop. There isn't much to dog with the dogs so running was what we did since there were only 2 others there when we went. There are benches out for the humans to sit at and chit chat! Oh and how could I forget the water fountain. My one male dog wanted to use it so bad rather than is bowl...for what reason I have no idea...but I kept telling him no and he eventually figured out alright mom isn't joking even though this thing is so darn cool. If you need poop bags they have that too! All in all if you want to get your dog out to run freely then this is a great place. Just watch out for the poop just in case. People just learn to pick up your DOGS POOP! It's not hard!!! =)

A small portion of the paved loop lines up with Railroad Rd so it can be a little unnerving as well as loud walking close to 55+ mph traffic if it is busy. There is ample parking. Trash cans and doggy bag stations are available, although no one seems to really clean up after their dogs. Two baseball fields and basketball courts are open to the public. They are kind of old looking but satisfactory. There are large grassy areas for soccer, picnics, and so on. There's a playground for the kiddies. It is popping during the weekend as well as during the early/evening times with walkers, runners, or groups playing soccer. Off peak daily hours are just plain odd to say the least. There are some really sketchy characters hanging out near or in their cars during the day that can make you feel uneasy. My advice is to just go during high peak hours.
