Finding a long term soccer training facility for my 9-year old son was important to me. He has attended local camps, joined indoor leagues, and had private one on one training with others but I can confidently say Blake and Sam at GRIS have exceeded my expectations and shown to be a much better value than the previous options. The facility is top-notch and the training is tailormade for each player. Whether it's drills to improve dribbling, passing, or shooting, every session is planned to maximum the player's growth and fun. I'd give many more stars if I could to Gris! My daughter started working with Blake when she was 10 years old and we were stuck with nowhere to play during Covid. Blake, the owner and trainer, met with us on a grass field in Aliso Viejo and later we moved to his fantastic facility conveniently located by the Irvine Spectrum. We've worked with other trainers, but Blake was the most interested in my daughter's whole being - not only the skills, but her focus, confidence, and us as an entire family. We have worked with Blake non-stop since then, even when club soccer returned, Blake had become such an integral part of my daughter's development that we have kept it up consistently. Her skills leapfrogged in the time we've been with him, her confidence on the ball is significantly improved, and most importantly, she still loves to go train. Blake pushes and challenges his kids that work to their potential, and cares deeply about their personal growth. My experience with the Gris training facility has been absolutely fantastic. I play soccer, and I needed a lot of help with strength training to raise my game to the next level. Blake, the trainer and owner of this facility, has been helping me immensely to reach my goals that I want to achieve. My favorite part about the facility that not a lot of the other warehouse has is that there is a turf field to the side that allows me to train without having to go to a soccer field. This allows me to save so much time as a student-athlete. I would highly recommend this place for all soccer players in the area that is looking to get both quality strength and soccer training. Blake does a awesome job with following COVID protocols that allows me to comfortably train. He makes sure that all his athletes and clients feel comfortable and protected while they're at training.
