My kids learned to swim here, and Miss Bridget is truly the best instructor. She is patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and has helped my children build confidence and strong swimming skills. My 4-year-old son absolutely loves the Ninja class with Coach Max. Coach Max does an amazing job keeping the kids engaged while helping them develop strength, coordination, and confidence. My daughter has also loved her gymnastics classes with Coach Jamie. Coach Jamie is kind, supportive, and makes every class fun while teaching excellent gymnastics fundamentals. We have been going to Cal Elite RSM for 3 years for children's swim classes. The swim coaches are exceptional and caring. They understand the child's level and coaches them accordingly. The Baby and Me class is where we started our journey and now our child is in Clownfish. Calelite also offers gymnastics and aerial acrobat classes. They also have a room for birthday parties. Both of my kids started enjoying Cal Elite at a very early age, around 15 months old, through the Mommy & Me gymnastics classes and pool activities. They later attended preschool there all the way through TK, and both also participated in ballet classes. We've had a really positive experience at this swim and dance program. My daughter currently takes swim classes and dance classes here, and she previously took ballet with Leslie, who runs the dance department. The instructors across both swim and dance have all been kind, patient, and encouraging. They really know how to work with kids and make them feel comfortable while still helping them improve and build confidence. Leslie was especially wonderful in ballet. She created a supportive environment that helped my daughter enjoy learning and actually look forward to class each week. The swim teachers have also been great. They are attentive in the water, give clear instructions, and make safety a priority while still keeping the lessons fun. We have been sending our son Oliver to Cal Elite's WeePeas program for a couple of months now, and overall we're very pleased. The curriculum seems thoughtfully designed for little ones - with activities focused on grip strength, coordination, spatial awareness and gentle movement exercises that support early development. Every class Oliver has attended, the instructor has been welcoming and gentle, creating a warm, supportive environment that helps babies feel safe and encouraged. It's clear that the staff at Cal Elite cares about fostering developmental growth in a nurturing way. That said - as a parent, I do wish the session were a bit longer. The 30‑minute class goes by very quickly, and it feels like both Oliver and I could benefit from more time to settle in, explore, and enjoy the activities. If the class were an hour, it would allow for a more relaxed pace and more bonding/development time. WeePeas at Cal Elite offers a positive, professionally run early‑childhood program, and we're happy with our choice. I'm really disappointed with my daughter's first experience at Cal Elite. She was assigned to a young male instructor who, unfortunately, made the class feel unwelcoming from the very start. He didn't smile, make eye contact, or speak to her at all during the lesson. My daughter kept trying to connect with him--smiling, looking at him for reassurance--but he didn't respond. As a parent, it was hard to watch her try so hard and receive nothing back. At the end of the class, instead of approaching me himself, he sent a young woman to let me know my daughter needed to be moved to a younger group because she wasn't at the level of the class. I absolutely understand that placements need to match skill level--that part wasn't the issue. The issue was the lack of communication, warmth, and basic interaction my daughter received throughout the lesson. This was her first swimming class, and it should have felt encouraging and safe. Sadly, it was the opposite. I hope Cal Elite takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all instructors provide a welcoming and supportive environment, especially for first-time swimmers. read more

My kids (2 & 5) love attending classes at Cal Elite. The coaching staff is wonderful. The front desk staff is almost always friendly and knowledgeable. My son is thriving in the Ninja program (which he hilariously refers to as his "workout"). She is now four years old and is still in her gymnastics class as a level four. My daughter also attended her first preschool with Calelite with the Summer Bees program. Following Summer Bees, she was ready and prepared to start traditional preschool with Cal Elite. As an educator, and an athlete, I absolutely find the curriculum Cal Elite offers to be first class. Cal Elite is basically my family's second home! My daughter has been taking classes there since before she could walk. Swimming, preschool, gym, dance - you name it. She's 7 now, taking aerial arts and acro. She is part of a team that means so much to her, and it has given her so much confidence. Now my son is at Cal Elite preschool, and taking gym classes as well. I can't put into words how grateful I am that we found this place. We LOVE Cal Elite! Over the last 6 years we have done Pre-School, Ninja, Sweet Pea Gymnastics (2, 3, 4 and 5 Pea) Kinder Dance, Kinder Ariel, Beginning Acro, Beginning Tumbling, Intermediate Tumbling, Beginner Ariel, Pre-Team and PAT Acro. I Love that this is a family run and operated shop, that fills gaps in the community for classes I didn't even know existed. The Owners, staff, teachers, and coaches are the best available. The love and knowledge they have and give our kids is next level. The kindess the older/more experienced athletes show to the younger athletes are beyond anything I've seen at other gyms. My kids have made lifelong friends they met in school as well as in classes. And I have made lifelong mom friends while we sit and watch our small people live their best lives. read more

My kids have been taking classes at Cal Elite for 4 years. My son loved the ninja classes with coach Max, he's still there and always says hi to me. My daughter did two pea, tumbling, tap dance, hip hop, and most recently aerial. Like other reviewers, I like the convenience of the early start times like 4:30 pm. In the last 6 months the classes have grown larger which made it impossible to schedule a makeup because every aerial class was full. There also used to be benches to sit on inside the gym so I could see my daughter, but since the class sizes increased, so did the amount of parents. Thursdays are very busy, Mondays are not, I recommend Monday's. There is no AC inside the gym so summer classes get very warm and occasionally canceled. This was inconvenient for aerial because makeups weren't an option because every aerial class was full. The instructors and front desk staff have all been amazing, patient, and incredibly kind to my children...especially Krista! The performances are top notch and my daughter loved each one. They also sell tap shoes, ballet shoes, leotards, super cute hand made bows, and dresses - and have excellent clearance sales on leotards during the summer which work as bathing suits. read more
