When we heard that the Lake Forest location was offering a Spring Day Camp, the kids were so excited to hear they could spend all day with their favorite gymnastics coaches, some familiar faces from Tustin too! My sons cartwheel and tumbling skills have improved so much, and he can roll head over very easily now! I'm so proud of him and he's so proud of the skills and confidence her learned here with the Flippin Flames. The staff is so caring and compassionate as well! My daughter Jazzy, really wanted to attend with her brother and is just getting over the potty training hump. I received a call one afternoon that she had an accident and they were so sweet to my little girl, and kept her mind off her little oopsie until daddy arrived and was able to tend to her. They could've asked her to stay home during the remaining duration of camp, but instead they paid extra attention to her and ensured that she was comfortable and dry through the rest of the camp. As an athlete and father, I can recommend Wildfire Gymnastics to you and your family as a warm and caring facility to learn gymnastics from some of the most prized and awarded coaches in Southern California. Parents were not pros at identifying the various items out on the floor and it was a minefield to navigate it all so you could easily turn an ankle on equipment. I watched a couple little girls stumble and start crying because of this. The bday had a game that 2 staff members ran but otherwise they were largely absent on the gym floor. There was no instruction, no structure otherwise. Kids wandered between the bounce house to every piece of equipment with total access. As a parent I kept close to my child to help him but I liked other party venues a lot better because they had staff to get involved and show safe ways to use equipment they had put on the floor. On a hot day over 80 degrees there was no a/c except up in the upstairs party room. I was very hot and uncomfortable as were the kids. Thankfully I brought my son's water to keep him hydrated. Everyone was sweaty and gross. Add to that the venue did not require socks, it seemed a ripe environment for athletes foot or other germs to flourish as I did not notice the equipment or mats looked particularly clean. Nobody was cleaning after use either like at other venues. Overall, nice idea but I think staff needs to think about execution of a bday party better. There is a wide variety of equipment but no instruction, little space between the equipment, and random jump boards everywhere that I don't think 5 yr olds were equipped to navigate well.

Since then, both have progressed through the different levels--my daughter is now in Clownfish, and my son is in Sharkies. The instructors have always been incredibly supportive and do an excellent job of individualizing instruction to meet each child where they are. They are patient, compassionate, and encouraging, helping my children work through fears and overcome challenges while building confidence in the water. There were ongoing issues within the group (specifically one girl) that made the environment uncomfortable, and although they were brought to the coaches' attention multiple times, nothing was effectively addressed. A month before our first competition--after we had already begun learning routines--I received an email stating that I was no longer welcome at the gym. I was given no clear explanation, no prior warning, and no opportunity to discuss or resolve anything. Being removed from a team this way, especially right before competition season, was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I would strongly encourage better communication and fairness when handling athletes in the future.

To make matters worse, we were not even given credit for the holiday closure until we specifically asked about it, at which point they said they would "look into it." Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. This is especially disappointing because we were hoping to find a gymnastics gym we could stay with long term. If you are looking for a well-run gymnastics program for your children, I would not recommend this location.

Very disappointing! How can she see me every week asking and they don't bother to make a call or text when it is my daughter's turn. Now probably it will take another 6 months of wait because she is number 2 on the waitlist! Seriously no sense of customer care for these kids and no respect for parents at this business!

During those two weeks, I experienced a lack of support. One athlete was consistently rude to me, and when I struggled with a bars skill, a coach responded in a way that made me feel embarrassed rather than helped. At the end of the trial period, I was told I would hear back about whether I made the team, but I never received any communication. Overall, the environment felt unsupportive and unprofessional. I believe young athletes deserve encouragement, respect, and clear communication, which I did not experience here.
